Spoke to a QPR fan on the way to work yesterday who was at the game, he said we looked decent but he felt they could of done us in the first half, he also said how poor they are so not to get too excited. Keeper was a bad error but great save just after shows character. I'd love to see a new keeper come in Jan and think one might but still hope felix keeps out lonners who makes mistakes but not the saves great hattrick from roofe, good to see a different type of game from him as a poacher (and a good one it would seem) . So far so good but need to improve, if we don't make playoffs we will lose our best players (as we did last year) and it will be a never ending cycle of just missing out on playoffs and never progression

Bermondsey, then the answer is don’t just buy any body buy the best and forget the rest, you get what you pay for in this game and it’s seen that we do it more then most, and each season is the same we all say the same its our year this time and time again, won’t anybody listen,

That’s because Monk does not know how to get the best out of them Wex, he’s not exactly a Mr Motivator is he! I’m with Whiteman on this, if we buy let’s use our mistake buys as a guide to what we need. Let’s stop messing about with potential buys and let’s get proven players at their peak with a good few seasons ahead of them. We have to find a balance of potential and experienced. Whiteman is spot on, Leeds should use money wisely. MOT

good point about Monk, for me it is not about players at all and just the manager, know he is at everton now but few turned their noeses up at big Sam look at what he has done at everton already, our team is good enough (would like one keeper and left back but other than that happy) but then our team last year was also good enough but we failed due to monk not being good enough, I hope Christenson is good enough and he has done well but I still would do anything to get in tony pulis then watch him take leeds back to prem, for me there is no other outcome to pulis managing leeds than promotion. Our players are good enough last year the manager let us down, i hope this year is not the same otherwise saiz, alluiskio, Veria all go and we start again

maybe lucas but i still felt he underacvieved last year with pep by his side for us. on a positive I have been a good boy and my xmas list to santa is 1. one keeper who is not complete pony
2. a left back who is left footed
3. tony pulis (as leeds manager not a personal thing for me)

Your spot on Lucas, Pep was the wheels behind the Monk! Wex, I’m not a club owner so all the questions would be for Orta, but we should of signed Flint but we didn’t go that bit extra, we should of tried to go for Rhodes or Fletcher but we never wanted to spend that much, Stockdale more or less said come and get me but we chose to go for Felix and Lonergan, look how that's going! We also should of got Griffiths from Celtic at a cost, but no! Just think if we had spent the money for them where would we be? Answers on postcard Wex! and if you add up the money that we have spent on mediocre players you could work out that we could of invested in a proven. There’s plenty out there and Orta should getting stuck in and finding them. We have some quality players but we need to get some proven players to mix with them. MOT

I wish they were right Wex. But the days of getting the likes of Strachan Sterland Fairclough Chapman and even VInnie Jones, all seasoned pros, to come to our league are long gone. The wages now are too high for most championship clubs.

Wex woody67 right on with his post, should have pep as manager and the 5 players he’s named, keeping last season team and adding the 5 would have been better then the 16 players he’s bought in and on top of that we now need another 5 so cost don’t come into it really dose it woody 67 your right on the your post mate. keep them rolling.

Wex can’t say were setting anything alight as well can we, only just won at QPR good job Roofe was playing some on here don’t have a good word to say about him should play in up front all the time.

Wex, Flint is having a great season so far, he’s been Man of The Match 4 times, Rhodes hasn’t had many chances but he’s scored a few, and don’t get me started about Griffiths, we missed a good buy there and Stockdale? I noticed you kept quiet about that decision! I’m not having a downer on Leeds but you should read some of Whiteman’s earlier season posts as he was spot on all the way along, we have had some good transfer buys but also some bad ones and yes it’s a learning curve but it’s time to stop learning and putting all our money into potential three year down the line, it’s time for proven quality at the right price! We’ve employed all the expensive back room professionals so it’s time they did what they are paid highly for! MOT
