Nakhi Wells has signed for Huddersfield on loan initially permanent next week for club record fee. Not sure I'm too worried about that in honesty, not proven at championship level and we really need someone to come in and fire us into the playoffs with a proven record. ALF or Billy Sharpe for me would do the job. MOT

Bit of a gamble for me, could fire Hudds into playoffs or fall flat on his face.

Now that we have signed 2 wingers I think we will see the real Matt Smith, He will get good delivery this time unlike before.

He's had plenty of corners, free kicks and passes from Tom Lees to deal with.

If he gets good delivery will this stop him planting his arms on the defenders shoulders/shoving them and giving a foul away EVERYTIME?
Matt must be 6ft 7" and 6ft 6" when he jumps, only seen him a handfull of times but unimpressed i'm afraid ;(

Leeds announce partnership with NFL team San Francisco 49ers. What the purpose of this? Can anyone see any benefit?

Marketing may be the best benefit. If LUFC can get promoted, it could drastically increase US fanbase. California (San Fransisco's state) is a hotbed for soccer in the states. I don't see a ton of financial help here, although the owner of the 49ers is worth nearly $1 billion.

Have we signed Kebe Yet? It was announced two days ago that we were to sign him on loan. Is he walking up from London or is he lost? Joking aside, we need to speedup the administrative process for signings or other clubs will gazump us while we mess about. If anyone sees Jimmy on their travels point him in the direct of Thorpe Arch!

Can someone tell me why we are looking to sign Barnes, yet huddersfield are looking to sign wells, surely wells has more goals in him than someone like barnes or is it because Barnes would be cheaper.I would rather have matt fryatt than barnes.

If Wells is Huddersfield bound then perhaps he is not as good as people think

The logic is Barnes wins thing in the air, mccormack needs someone like that along side him maybe McDermott would like another option instead of Smith every now and then.

Not doing too badly so far, Stewart in and looking like Kebe is a done deal too. Ashley Barnes would be another good signing too and give us another option instead of Smith. Don't know how true the Bridcutt rumours are but I have always liked him and think he would be some signing! Pity we couldn't get Diouf's head right. If BMD get's his head right and fit he'll be like a new signing. Don't think this would be a bad team:

Another thing on here, people should stop bashing BMD. Rome wasn't built in a day. Don't know did people think he was going to come in and work miracles with very little money and we'd be 15pts ahead of everyone else at this stage. One point outside the playoffs at this stage is a good job for me. He's doing great work in the background too and at Thorpe Arch. Give BMD a chance and get behind the team. Hopefully things take off from here and we get a few more signings in. MOT

Every one talking bout old reading players BmcD worked with think the only one i'd take would be Alex McCarthy one of the best goalies I think I've seen in quite a long time his reflexes are ridiculous defo won't happen but can always dream
