Should have started Vardy instead of Sterling, subbed Young off for Rose at halftime. Controversially, I don't think Kane should have played the whole game either.

Stafford Rose should've started instead of Young. Semi finalists of tournaments can cope with right-footed LBs. Alli looked a spent force in games so I would have started with Loftus-Cheek and told him to be his usual physical self. Second half we were utterly outfought. I don't blame him for starting Sterling and Kane. Vardy and Rashford great options off the bench. Southgate failed to utilize the squad correctly for this game. With magnificent France already in the Final, all more reason to rest legs in areas where we were weak. He did it against Belgium and although we lost it worked. He underused Loftus-Cheek who I thought was lively when he got minutes.

They were useless from the beginning. Lucky to get through group. Then played woeful Sweden and Colombia and faltered to deceive. Then let a crap team like Croatia beat them. Useless. Shameful. It is such a shame that such a great World Cup should end up with crap Croatia in the final. I hate France with a passion but at least they can play the game. Croatia? Really? What about entertainers like belg, Uruguay, Peru, Spain, Portugal, japan? Even Brazil. We get Croatia? France. Please **** them over!

My guess is Mbakobu is coming in if we don't get the striker were supposedly after, haven't seen any word from Leeds that we don't want him, if that's the best we can do were in for a bad season we surely have better strikers already here some good young uns ready to step up, got to be Ortas doing be absolutely p-ssed off if he ends up at Leeds so much for an exciting season.

What's this with Blackman? It's said Chelsea would not let Blackman go on loan just to sit on the bench for a season. Well what about BPF, what about him having to sit on the bench for a season? Surely the way to go would be to get an experienced pro, and there are a few out there, who would mentor BPF and also do a job if/when called upon.

Alf is feeling negative. Waste of time - we need to back BPF properly now and not get in another keeper over his head. Goal isn't even a priority for me we have 14 thousand youth keepers already for cover. why don't we get people in positions we actually need?

Good points Alf. Do think we need an old head in to help the Young GKs development tho, but you're bang right, it shouldn't be the priority. And I think we all share your current frustrations. It's getting tedious now just waiting for some news!

Agree all above. Put 4 decent defenders in front of him and he is more than capable of full season. I just don’t get their thought pattern. We need a striker and Cb bad. Forget goalie for Christ sake.

It sounds like I am the only one, but I would rather us wait and get 2 or 3 signings who will effect the first team rather than repeat the debacle of last season where we buy a full team of players who end up warming the bench (or worse) . In my eyes, at the minute no signings is better than bad signings. If we start signing crap players then fair enough but I for one won't be slagging the management until the crap starts coming through the door. Imagine we spend a huge part of our budget on Vydra and then Mitrovic becomes available (who for me is a better player) but we are no longer in the market for a striker. As I say, probably just me and I am probably deluded but I live in hope. MOT.

Obviously noone wants crap coming through the door but we do need someone of quality in. Think we have every right to be frustrated if all we get are loanees. What happens if we do get promoted then they all go back to their clubs. We need to build a strong squad, yes i have no doubt young ones will come through but will it be enough in a long hard season, especially the way Bielsa plays. I have every faith in Bielsa to get the best out of every player and believe we will be playing good football next season. We do need 2 or 3 new players signed up to long term contracts especially a CB and striker.

Defo don't think you're on your own with those thoughts Shutty. We cannot repeat last seasons recruitment model, and I think AL is also right, Bielsa only brings in players who will snap his hand off to wear the shirt, which is what we all expect as fans too. Still hopeful of 2-3 quality additions personally, even if season long loans.

Plus T-Rex's didn't have any pockets as they were around millions of years before they were invented. or money, for that matter. unless you mean Marc Bolan from the band T-Rex who did have pockets but can't reach them due to his untimely demise. either way the effect is the same - no effing money being spent.
