this shows fans are starting to change there mind about warnock now, a few weeks back probably 3/4 saying they want him to stay would of been shouting warnock out including me.

Agree0 Disagree7

I don't get why people have changed their minds about warnock.
He is still the manager who played people out of position, who still makes the team play hoof ball and who still can not make the right substitutions.
If we get into the playoffs and if we get promoted I still do not want him as manager.

Reading managerless. Could adkins me in line. Think next week could have a massive say on who comes in to Leeds next season.

Would love to see Neil stay for another year and get that 8th promotion with us Kieran mot

Believable24 Unbelievable30

I agree, Warnock should stay and finish what he started. However, if we make a change there is no one better than McDermtt - an excellent manager, his teams play great football and he's a gentleman, you never hear him slagging off other teams, players or managers. he would be the one for me

Agree12 Disagree12

Warnock will finish the job alright. Lucky this year in finding the right team and with a lot of dodgy decisions going our way. If he is able to stay and tinker with the team next year. We will be down
Warnock out

Agree10 Disagree11

Ausman fed up of you saying it's luck he found the right team.

If everything he has done is based on luck then surely the reason he didn't have the right team in the start was bad luck?

Also people slate him for buying players and not playing them. Well everyone was excited when he signed Austin, and if he didn't play him at the start fans would of moaned at him anyway. Turns out he is not the best at the club as 3 of the others he signed are the best.

Also this is by far the best defence I have seen at Leeds since the Premier league days. I suppose him finding Byram was an accident? No. He bought Pelts as RB for a fair sum of money then Byram proved his self after stepping up in pre season from the youth team. It was a brave decision to buy a player for that much and choose a kid over him would have been easier for him to just not play him and bench Byram.

Why can't you just get behind the team, the fans will be the downfall of this club. The atmosphere at ER this season until the last couple of games has been the worst I have ever known. Surprisingly once the atmosphere got better the players also did? Coincidence I guess? Leeds fans are the greatest in the world on their day, but when things aren't going right people like you make us the worst.

Let's hope PDC goes up the M4 to Reading and not anywhere near us!

Agree10 Disagree2

11 Mar 2013 22:21:03
why not PDC would be an exciting time
you would get the passion and anybody who can gain promotion like he has with swindon has got something. plus he would handle the pressure of the er hotseat.

Agree7 Disagree6

Get promotion like he did? Do u mean having one of if not the biggest budget in that league then when the coffers dried up and they sold a player he spat his dummy out and quit? That pdc? Yea I can see him doing a great job at our club! because we'd never do owt like that. Passions one thing stability is another and I know what I would prefer to have to get us to the promised land and its not some "on the edge" Italian who threatens to quit once a month. Whoever we get we need to stick with and that's fans, players and board. We aren't a quick fix club we've been thru to much for it to b that easy.

just to comment on thae byram saga yes I think a lot if fans would say take the 8m for em and I was saying the same but this day in age its not a lot of money remember when we sold lemon (lennon) to spurned for a million only for him to be priced over 20 million the following season so we didn't half get ripped of there I think sam is a much more promising younger with a better football brain just think he was playing under 16's - 18's or some thing last season one good season putting 8million price what's next season going to bring bidding war i'd say having said all that I think we should hold onto him whatever the money given unless its 10 - 15m because if man city has offered half can only mean he'll be worth double 8 mil in a season or two again just my opinion also shows our intent on a club moving forward if we can hold onto our top youngsters! lees another 10m prospect and england future international price again price will rocket up! not saying we should sell either though lol MOT

If GFH have got any ambition at all then no players will be going anywhere unless they specifically ask to leave the club.

would love 2 think we could hold on 2 him but buyout or not we are still a selling club 8 mil would see him gone but yes we all know he"s worth more have the club the balls to hold out for his true worth of 12 to 15 mill I would say no way m. o. t.

Agree5 Disagree0

If Manchester United have signed zaha for £10mil + £5mil add on fees, and he has had an international call up, there is no way byram after 1 season is worth £12 or 13 mil

Agree8 Disagree3

To the last poster who's to say got a very good price and palace couldn't turn it down seen worse than zaha for twenty million! think hell be worth more when he makes the switch also

Agree0 Disagree1

"there is no way byram after 1 season is worth £12 or 13 mil"

Nope, let's just give him away like Lennon, sold for 1 million and rated at 20 million a couple of years later.

Or why not give him away in part exchange and a few hundred quid like we did Bechio.

We may not have got the 3 points we deserved, but once again it seems Warnock has turned a corner, that is 3 solid away game points (Wolves, Leicester and Palace) and the thing is we should have won at least 2 of them. At the beginning of the games on paper you would be happy with a point, its a good sign that we are actually dissapointed getting only a point in the end, the lads must be doing something right. Big home game coming up so for once let's get behind the lads. MOT SussexLeeds

Weekly comment. RE McCormack - missed yet another sitter this time against against Palace that would have won us the game. He is not good enough. Cardiff boss knew this and got rid.

Believable5 Unbelievable19

11 Mar 2013 13:25:01
He's doing a great job out of position really so don't get your problem. Varney not scoring and morison had only scored 1 in 7 before the palace game. I'm sure McCormack will get a run of games with goals soon and it will be at the perfect time.

Agree11 Disagree1

Yeah but assist loads of goals

Agree3 Disagree0

OP. We have got a number players who 'assist' pity we haven't got the ones to put the ball in the net regularly. Even Warnock has noticed that McCormack is coming up short in that department. If you look at the goals he should have scored and the points we would have in the bag we wouldn't be worrying too much about the top six. If Kenny or any other keeper was making that number of mistakes he would be on his bike - well maybe not Kenny.

Even if we win them all
Even if we win tbem all 5-0

Agree7 Disagree3

Stop getting on his back, it looks like he could have turned the corner with the team. I wouldn't be bothered if he had another season with us because who would come to Leeds (I mean a good manager not someone crap) he seems to be building a team give him another season see if our owners will give him some cash and take it from there.

Stop sitting on the fence Ausman and let us know what you really think.

I was speaking to a Scunthorpe fan at my daughter's party today and he said what I have been thinking for a while, that Adkins is to nice a man to succeed at leeds, he has not got the temperament look at the successful managers at leeds they've had that ruthless streak, revie wilko and I think Warnock has that Adkins is too soft.

Believable4 Unbelievable21

Don Revie was a gentleman manager. The above post is a load of tosh. Adkins could succeed at Leeds given the right backing by the board. His style of football, ie flowing passing football would do all the talking required.

Agree10 Disagree3

First post utter carp. Name a so-called hardman manager winning all the trophies. Would it be. ??? No-one!! Ruthless went out years ago. The main thing is playing attractive football. If you get the right blend from defense through midfield with some goalscorers you can prosper. Adkins would do a good job at Leeds. Why does everyone say has to be a hard man or ruthless to manage at Leeds? Adkins did well at Southampton. Why can't he do well at Leeds? Time for Leeds fans to get with it as we turn another important corner toward rising again.
