Cellino on verge of walking away, team and manager are garbage, administration and points deduction looming, relegation fight a real prospect. makes you proud to be a Leeds fan!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I assume your looking on social media about the freeze in lending from Cellino to the club. I believe this is purely because he doesn't want to:

a) Invest more if he isn't going to get approved by the football league with the decision coming in a week or so

b) GFH-C having to ask for the money indicates to me that he doubts their ability to be able to pay back, especially if they couldn't afford to pay Enterprise Insurance off at £1.5M

Keep the faith. I expect Cellino to be approved and providing we avoid relegation (which should be the case) We can look to next season with the funding we've needed for the last 10 years to get us back to the PL

BMD is always saying what a great job he did for Reading, tonight we all saw its still the case. let's pray Cellino gets approved and is able to shake up this awful shambles because if FL block it an electrical appliance and the soft smelly stuff are going to come in to close contact. Taxi for Brian please!

I have played in Sunday league teams that don't concede 9 in 2 home fixtures and played under managers that can see where our weaknesses are and changed the team accordingly. Flabbergasted at our form. Time to do the right thing Brian, bring in the Chief and let's enjoy what's left of our season! Are we going to be looking over our shoulder at relegation again? Disgusting waste of fans money!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Bring in the chief as what?, Cellino will have a proven manager lined up already, he needs to go now, any pride and he'd walk, this is relegation form i'm afraid, surely even he must now admit play offs are impossible,, we've more dead wood now than Warnock had, Elland Road under Mac is now a graveyard for players, and as long as were in limbo were going to struggle big time, get the new manager in and build for next season, this ones dead.

I don't know all the doubters, tonight's game saw an improvement we conceded One less goal and scored One more, keep this up and next game we can hope for a 3-3 draw.

Taxi for McDermott. Wish we had let Cellino have his way, a month ago. This would have to be a resignation. Just not cutting the mustard Brian.

11 Mar 2014 21:36:30
Forget the quality of players at our disposal and whether McDermott is the right man, the most worrying thing is the lack of fight and desire. Utterly pathetic, none deserve to wear the jersey. Bremner and Revie will be turning in their graves.

I wonder if there is a get out clause in Cellino's contract for the 75% share purchase, that Leeds don't get religated. If they do the deals off, this might make GFH make a decision tomorrow

Just a quick question. The company who have just bought 1/4 of Man U, would they have done the FA FAPP test like Massimo has had to do?
Just seems strange that it has come out of the blue and been no fuss about it.
Strange me thinks that it has happened so quickly. FA a little bit biased?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

It only works out as 2.5 percent of the actual club shares I think mate. Have a read on sky article it's quite thorough

Agree0 Disagree0

They bought 24% of the shares floated on the stock market. Only 10% of the club's shares were on the stock market so they have around 2.5% of the club in total.

Hi Ed, just wondering why none of my posts make it onto the website anymore since I have been logging on. My last comment (not published) merely pointed out that other clubs have far more dodgy owners than Cellino yet have gone on to somehow win the CL. Are you racist towards eight legged cephalopod sea creatures or what?

what I thought about the game was that first half we had most possession but didn't do anything with it, then because of a mistake we lost the ball however we very quickly won the ball back. this happened for most of the first half until one time they managed to get through the defence and score. then the second half came. won't say anymore. I think if we had better players and players who worked there socks off everytime they played we would have scored a couple in the first half and second half we would have played different and held on for the win. final point, all of you slating tom lees and saying he hoofed the ball every time, I was at the game and most of the time he did passed the ball, however he can't pass the ball everytime if the midfield don't work to make an option

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Wow I just read this and thought it was in reference to tonight's game( made a mistake and scored) looks like a pattern!

I for one have been 100% fof BMcD and hope he can turn it round, but I have my doubts after Saturday performance. I'll be there again tonight to hopefully see a rapid improvement I for one would put Byram & white in for Kebe & Stewart and Brown for Austin. Forever an optimist MOT

Really don't understand those still supporting BMD. Like most I was glad to see him at the club but my patience ran out several weeks ago, his signing have been awful with Keby and Stewart being the worst but Hunt is not far behind. His substitutions are useless and he clearly can't read the game as me and 30,000 others could organise the team and motivate the players better than him. Lee's now only plays Hoofball and looks like a rabbit in the headlights every time he gets the ball.

Sorry Brian time to go and let's get someone in who can take us forward and stop the embarrassing defeats to our rivals. MOT

Once we lose tonight in my opinion the following afternoon we will sack BMd for good. Losing against his beloved former club will be too much to bear for Cellino and GFH. We will find a temporary manager very quickly. He will be good and the short term project will be stop the relegation.

Have to say, regarding the match tonight, I would just like to see some spirit, passion and commitment. It is so disappointing to watch players going through the motions and then have to listen to pointless lame drivvle afterwards as to why we have been humiliated again. Just wanna see some pride, is that too much to ask?

Murphy has been our best center midfeilder for weeks

I don't feel bmd has been given a fair crack at Leeds mylsef. Yes you can look at our recent performances and and on that basis alone he will be lucky to be in a job in the coming weeks. We all wanted him to come here and do what he did at reading, turn them into a good footballing side and get us to the prem but there he was financially supported more than what he has been during his tenure here, yes ok he's made signings. Murphy? Still a lot to prove ok (and yes £1m wich he could have got someone else) but with the other teams in this division, Leicester, qrp. The financial backing they have bad never had a chance of making it at least not this year. And as far as the selection goes I 100% agree with you all

TsG

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Seriously?
Er. Mostly crap signings!
Er. Tactically redundant
Er. Dosent give a crap
I was all for the bloke but he has had more than enough time to shine mate and the bulb is blown. Get a new one

Agree0 Disagree0

I think most level headed fans would support the view that BMcD has not had the financial backing to produce a team capable of challenging for promotion however there are numerous reasons to be frustrated with Brian. 1. When Brian took control of the team last year he had the team passing the ball, the game at home to Burnley was a typical example. This season we have reverted to hoofball tactics. 2. Brian's blinkered view that Lees, Austin, Stewart and Kebe can do no wrong whilst other plays are cast aside due to a couple of poor performances. 3. Tactical selections that seem more baffling to our players than they do to the opposition re: Bolton game where he took off the two wingers and played McCormack and Wickham (our two most dangerous players) on the wing. 4. Spending £1m on a player for the future when we need more here and now players. 5. Reluctance to venture into the loan market originally because he could not identify players to improve the squad. 6. After match interviews which show no passion for the position he is in. There are no doubt other issues

Agree0 Disagree0

I think a year in charge is deemed a 'fair crack of the whip' although I will admit circumstances have made it rather difficult at times.

Agree0 Disagree0

For the 4th time.

Please play Ariyibi on the right tomorrow. He can't do any worse. Let the lad run and try get a few crosses in. Even have him on the bench!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

11 Mar 2014 07:42:32
Yeah, and give white ago on the left because he's far better than Stewart!

Agree0 Disagree0

I said it after Forest away and Blackburn at home we have no MIDFIELD. Therefore defence is always under pressure and how are our forwards / wide players going to get anything. Obviously I do not think I know as much about football as our current management though I have watched Leeds since the 70s. The wide players we have brought in May we'll be crap, though if we have a player like Reid from forest in the middle they may look better. Our only hope would be to play Brown, not everyone's favourite but the best we have available. As for Austin I have seen a lot of good midfielders at Leeds and he s not one of them. Get behind them tonight as believe me things have been worse, remember Brown, Ashdown, Doig, Harle, Sinclair (Gk) Wallace (the other twin) I could go on then Wilko arrived and a few key signings and we were off. Not so sure BMD is the man though as he not as yet addressed our most obvious problem Central Midfield.Stickey
