Come fellow fans, let's have a few positive posts after todays result, I must admit after most results this season I've been critical of McDermott and for me the Jury is still out, but let's savour the fact we managed three points today.

Just got registered been meaning to do it a while, great site eds and thanks for the good work. Great to get a win today a vital one. Murphy was like a new player hope he starts every game for now on with that attitude. Also felt Brown was solid today. Just a shame some of the fans felt it was neccesary to boo Hunt, yes he has under peformed this season but I don't think it has been from lack of trying, and he did set up the second goal with a lovely headed ball.
Good post - agree with all especially booing Hunt - He's not had a great season, but it's no more his fault what has gone on this season than anyone else - Takeover is now done, Championship football is now secure let's look forward to a new dawn for Leeds United and Premier League football
Agree, particularly the bit about booing Hunt. Thought he looked good in the time he was on and it was a lovely touch to set up the second goal. Have to say I thought Brown was excellent today, everything we needed and everything we hoped Rudy would be. This was not the greatest performance but it was a solid one and something to build on for our last few games.

Where we good today or where Blackpool awful, just my luck that I couldn't make it to see a win, but relieved with the 3 points.
A bit of both to be honest!
Blackpool have not scored more than One goal away from home in more than 15 games and easy to see why (enough said)
Leeds were better as usual Ross was Ross but Murphy had a good game and better things I believe will come - generally a better show from most but lack of confidence is clear especially in the defence (need to do the basic things well)

Much more energy today, ball on the floor for long periods and the players showing some passion, how much better would we have been with Byram in place of Wooton? hopefully the ankle injury is nothing serious.
Have to disagree. thought ball was hoofed forward in the air quite a lot, and a lot of he time it came straight back. two well taken goals by murphy. and good to see massimo doing the leeds salute in the east stand. think he even did a little jig when the final whistle went. good day out for me and the boy!
We did but hoof ball has been our only tactic since Xmas so its good to see we can mix it up a bit. McD spent almost the whole match in the dugout with Gibb barking most of the instructions, I wonder if Cellini had a hand in that?

At last a decent performance and a WIN! Great atmosphere but didn't agree with the booing for Hunt. Boo GFH by all means! Hunt is just a player doing his best and at least he helped set up Luke's second. Roll on next season MOT
Agree. How can people on here claim to be 'the best fans in the world' when so many people behave like that before he's even stepped on to the pitch. I was disgusted, just like I was when Peltier was given some rough treatment a few weeks back. Shameful.

I made what turned out to be a silly deal at start of season. Was doing well til Xmas. That I could only give it to the missus when we won. Have been miserable for last few months. Tonight should make up for it. For all registered users, at some point I will say "the force is strong with you Luke". My wife probably won't get the reference but at least I get to use my light saber!

Not impressed with the linrup tbh 5 at the back? No width tongue murphy and brown in the midfield, I've always wondeted why we don't load the midfield instrad of poor defenders, wooton at rb after his shambles last week bmc dudnt make it easy on himself. Couldn't make today, managed to get a ticket for Birmingham away which I think because of work will be my last game of the season, just seen todays line up.
5 defender, 5-3-2 or 4-1-3-2 line up, whatever it is I just hope they play for their shirts, and give the long suffering fans something to cheer about as in a win.
Same as you Andy, Brum will be my only game, till next season. Work commitments, have to work most Saturdays now.

I live in Spain and I do not often get the honor of going to live matches with Leeds. But I am no less a Leeds fan. I still get nervous before kick off and feel sick when we loose.
We have now a new owner in MC one who wears his heart on his sleeve. Show him what ER is all about, he knows he is nothing with out us, the fans, show him what Leeds fans are all about.

Just registered for the first time today. Great site ED. Just got three things to discuss;
1) Can we get near the 30,000 fan mark today to show the footballing world that only LUFC can get that kind of support whilst being bottom half of Championship.
2) Ed-Have you heard anymore about timescales for MC to buy-back ER?
3) I suggest the FL appoint Sepp Blatter to make their organisation look more credible!

But I don't believe he has anything new on a timescale either, it will take a while before everything is to hand for the new owner to be able to deal with major matters like that. I think you get abuse from the minority on here because you're a 'insider' from the club and people like to shoot other people down who have positions of knowledge or power or seniority in any establishment. They do this to make themselves feel better. Probably get shot down myself for writing this, it's like water off a ducks back to me though.

rather than spending shed loads on transfer fee's this summer. I've just had a look at some of the freebies available this summer.
GK Keiren Westwood at sunderland
LB Liam Ridgwell from stoke
CB's Marc Wilson at stoke and Ben Turner at cardiff
CM Dan Gosling at newcastle and Jack Colback from sunderland
LM Seb Larsson again from sunderland
RM Marc Albrighton from villa
ST Bendner of Arsenal.
I feel these would complement the couple of decent players we've got thus clearing out the dross. I know their salaries will be high but offset that against the transfer fees? what's your thought boys and girls
Some of those a good call, but think Cellino will be looking at young players on relatively low wages with potential re- sale value. Two from Cagliari who look good bets are Nic Murra, young (19) LB and CM Dani Dessena. Also Opare from Standard Liege, looked like a world beater a few yrs ago, still only 23 and could do the goods. Boyota at Man City is out of contract and a couple from Europe in Midfield Rupp from Borussia M'gladbach Rm, Van Den Bruggen at Gent CM and AK Alkmaar's winger Gudmundssen. All early 20's, experienced and out of contract this summer. Thoughts?
