The deal was something stupid like £30 for all three home group games before we knew who we would play. Those three can up and happy times. no he was poor for us but I loved him at coventry and though he would be a hit. I even said I hope we sign him before we did then was delighted we got him. then he started playing for us. oh dear.

i honestly would put vidkua in my all time greaest leeds 11 for me he was that good. didn't know much about him when this celtic cab driver told me he was good when we signed him. remember thinking yeah but who ain't good in scotland i saw same cab driver year or so later andtold him how right he was

I remember bermo watching coverage of a international tournament, must have been Euro 2000 (if my dates add up) and o'leary was a pundit, however it was reported he'd flown to Scotland for the day. i knew it was to get the viduka deal over the line! i was so happy when it was confirmed! I too would put him in that all time 11, but as you know I'm controversial and do ruffle a few feathers on here. i'd also have cantona! 🙊🙊🙊🙊

hard to not have cantona if going for most talented players to wear the shirt, didn't do too much at leeds (although class) but certainly one of the greatest players to wear our shirt just a shame he did most of his great things in the red of mancs, same with rio and seaman both would probably make my all time most talented 11 but did most of their good at different clubs

irwin great shout maybe dorigo or reeny or madley but think he was better than hearte. truth is we have been a selling team but then few can say they are not, even man utd lost ronaldo, only two or three clubs in the world can keep a player when they want to go. what's great is how many players we turn out, only west ham can compete with us over the years maybe man utf and recently saints but even when a bad club we still bring through great players

i think we will lose 3-1 but i am yet to get anything right with leeds this year so maybe we will win as i knew we'd do barnsely but would lose to brighton. its a funny old league. even if we do lose to newcastle no disgrace there they are best team in league by quite a bit.
