Ok, can someone please summarise how many players we are buying - or not as the case may be, and also how many consortium have been linked with buying us??? If I am correct we are now only looking for a rumour from Africa, and Austrailasia to have the full house!!! Anyway keep going lads.... Cos, Bates may just die laughing !!!

My ever realiable source has just informed me that a deal has been tabled from a antarctic based king emperor Penguin consortium, Ken bates has had previous business dealings with the potential buyers in the fish fingers market, talks with Colin have already taken place and has been told he will have an open cheque book and he can p-p-pick any player he would like to sign.

Per per perfect !! lol nickybee

As we stand right now as a squad we need around 6 top players if we sell/lose any top players they need to be replaced with better players

surely the fans deserve to be told something even if its only "wait and see" especialy those who renewed season tickets in january so that the manager would know what his transfer pot was lol
also bates brags that the club has made profit for the last 3 years (i think that is right correct me if not ed) so invest in the squad to get us back to the prem where he will get his money back many times over we are not talking multi mils nw has a track record of putting promotion winning squads together on tight bugets
if we scraping the barrel in august to put a team together like previouse seasons iwont be spending a penny at er next season no program and a pint in the magic sponge and my season ticket wont be renewed again while bates is at leeds

Well done Forest for making a statement to the Forest fans on ssn informing them of the news of a take over and hopefully bringing in some better players soon,good to see some clubs care about there fans!not just expect them to give there hard erned cash and call them morons.

Thats because the Forest owner isnt sunning himself in Monaco without a care in the world....

Forest fans are in exactly the same position as we are,they havent got a clue whats going on same as us,it states on SSN,it could be next week before they get to know anything and we could be the same,dont expect any announcement soon.

Hmmmm good point i'd not noticed this before you said it. Just done a google search and all the big takeovers that have happened recently the party taking over was mentioned as talks began.

Very scary thought now that it could all be Bates spouting bullpoo to cover a lack of money

Surely the lack of transfer activity must say that this is an actual take over and not an investment? NW would not be bullied by he would simply walk.... A statement is needed soon!

I live in folkestone Kent and have been a leeds fan for 23 years now i havent got a mate who knows a mate who is at er like most people on hear but was just wondering ED if eddie gray is going on the yep and saying that warnock wants to get early signings in then surely that shows that he is not leaving, im as annoyed as everyone at the fact there is no news but i thing no news is good news and it will happen and we will be back in the premier league after this season coming what do you thing? {Ed013's Note - That is my thinking, unless Eddie is kept in the dark as much as everyone else}

Personally I think gray is in the with the rest of us, it was an absolute pointless column stating everything we already know, if he was slighty in the know then he would of wrote something other the dribble filling the pages

I said this weeks ago that we need a vinny jones type character and that i think diouf excuses my spelling fit that mould the only problem for wornock would be keeping him under controll but he always gets the best out of players. i remember seeing vinny train on the pitches near weetwood police station we were out on are bikes noticed these guys having a kick around from the distance but didnt know it was the leeds team till we got up close vinny would just please himself what he did and to say he was a hardman took time to get us to haave a 10 minute kick about with the lads it was great i think he was very uplifting for the team and gave them afreedom to express themselves but always did what the gaffer wanted on the pitch and i think that diouf could potentialy do the same so yeh i hope we have signed him we need a strong midfield and a good solid defence

He ain't no Vinny, and I'm talking football not the other rubbish. We do need a hard man, but in the middle, a certain J Barton may be available!

The player to get us promoted would be Barton not Diouf.

Barton is on about 60k a week at qpr

60K week fair play, but no one said we'd get him just hes what we need

Barton will miss 1/3rd of the season suspended - I cant see any point in signing him and paying him to watch from the stands. Give me half his wages and I'll do it happily!

Good job your not holding your breath, as soon as an announcement is made it will be blasted everywhere, could be next week yet, obvious something is going on for Colin to be silent or there would of been a post on the OS saying Colin is back from holiday and ready to step up his persue his targets but there is nothing, just get some sleep mate, the silence is good
