It is quite amazing what a manager with tactical nous and motivational skills can do. Practically same team as Graysons but what a difference. Perhaps you Bates haters might now see that he was right to some extent. The manager picks the team and squad not the chairman.

Well yeah thats blatantly obvious its the manager who picks the team and the squad, its the chairman that gives them the funds for it, i still believe Bates ties Graysons hands down, but thats in the past now, onwards and upwards, im thankful for what Grayson did, if he ever comes back to ER as an opposition manager ill give him a standing ovation and i hope everybody else does

Larry did alright for us. He took it as far as he was able to. Now warnock can squeeze that bit more out the troops. I hope Larry does come back as a visiting manager and I for one will deffo be up on me feet for the man. He's Leeds and he knows he is!

i would rather go up next year with automatic promotion as we wouldnt have to pay back the monies owed to creditors and playoffs muck you up for signing players as you are not sure if your going up and best players have signed for other clubs

Ive have been saying all season that this was bates plan to go up next season rather than this due to money restraints mot !

Please read the accounts. In there it states that we will have to pay out to creditors if we go up before 2017/18. These are freely available on the Internet or from Companies House.
Also remember that the money we will earn in the Premier League plus parachute payments will far exceed what we will pay to creditors. Bates & everyone else wants promotion as soon as possible.

Youre so right mate, why would bates be happy making a 'small' profit in the championship when he can see that the premier league is lined with gold. All those tv rights, all those sponsorship deals, all that corporate bunkum. Hes a businessman and wants to do business with the big boys. He wants promotion as much as anyone else.

Cant believe you lot sometimes!! for the last three months ive been slagged off and called all sorts on this page for ranting on how crap Grayson was, for knocking those Bates-out MORONS, yes you lot (been a bit quiet recently, but i guessed you just worked out that you shouldve been singing 'Grayson out' all along instead), for having a go at all the good time Charlies who sat at home and moaned how much it costs to go to ER while the crowds dwindled to 20,000.
Hurray!!!! you're all back onside again and the world is lovely and I really hope you all turn up as promised on saturday and sing for the lads and scare the s**t out of those 'title-contender' cockneys. Welcome home!!!!!!!
