How would people feel about the appointment of Big Sam should he be sacked by West Ham. Doesn't play the most beautiful brand of football but would rather see winning hoof ball than loosing football. He knows how to get a team into the Prem and keep it there

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed003's Note - best put your tin hat on lol.}

You must be an incognito hammers fan to suggest that pal. rather take our chances with BM than spend eternity trying to avoid premier relegation.

Agree0 Disagree0

Please no! The only manager to play such a c£@p brand of football the home fans want rid even though they are doing okay in the prem. He stands for everything football should not be. He also counts Alex Ferguson as a big mate so must be a c£&t.

Agree0 Disagree0

Big Sam at ER are you drunk? please please please let's get someone who knows how to play modern football. Not a dinosaur from another century.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hmmmmn now let me think. that would be a OMG NO then, come on why? Better people out there for sure

Agree0 Disagree0

HEADS GONE!
Daft idea fella, surprised you didn't suggest Paul Ince or Alan Hanson since he hasn't got a job after the summer.

Sources saying odds slashed on BMD being offered the WBA job? If true can we be quick and sign up Malky Mackay before Norwich get him. MOT

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Oscar Garcia plz

Agree0 Disagree0

Neil Lennon anyone?

Agree0 Disagree0

Lennon no no no no he is more controversial than Billy Davis, we are persecuted enough by the FL without having another character like him to give them a reason to kick us . Also he would bring with him all that sectarianism rubbish and split our great Scottish support we enjoy at Leeds.
Would have liked him as a player though, just what we need, pity he is too old .

Rather have John Lennon - Imagine!

Agree0 Disagree0

Apparently Mackay is definitely going to Norwich. I was told this by an ex-prem physio who still has a lot of friends in the game. I know it's a loose link (sorry can't all be Jeff haha) but it is genuine at least and not pure fantasy. he told me to stick whatever I could afford on it but I'm not a betting man and also not 100% sure. just passing on what I was told.
Now I'm off for a kick about with Lucas Radebe then back to Ellie Cellino's for a Pot Noodle and a lap dance. Cheers all.

At last meeting Massimo sometime after Tuesday this week re Yorkshire Radio.
I will be happy to ask him any sensible questions you have for him.
He will probably get me pi---d on his favourite Chivas Regal very quickly so I will be very happy to post replies early on.
Let me know what you want me to ask him and I will post his replies while I'm with him.
If Ed 13 wishes to attend I will be very happy to oblige.
By the way there is still a chance Eddie could be working on the radio on match days.
Jeff

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Can I attend?

Agree0 Disagree0

Hello Jeff,

I'm not going to lie or pretend that I'm your best mate because I've been critical of some of your previous posts, however if you are genuinely meeting up with Massimo, I'd like you to let him know that he has the fans backing and we can't wait to see him turn our club around.

Good luck with yorkshire radio and if you bring it back make sure it's all about LUFC!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ask if he has a good recipe for spaghetti sauce.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed003's Note - just go to asda mate they have loads of different ones there pome.}

I know he's been cutting costs but will he take me on as an advisor? I say what I like and I like what I bloody well say!

Agree0 Disagree0

Jeff there are quite a few questions I guess all of us want to know answers to. Buying ER and TA when? What is more important to him good looking attacking football or hoof ball and winning? What roles are his son's going to have at ER? If the target is prem in 2 yrs what is his target next season? We all understand the whole team needs restructuring but how many new players would he be looking at bringing in this summer? We understand 10 million has been offered for RMC is that a figure he would sell him at or is he not for sale full stop? Communication has been a huge problem with owners and fans is he going to be different and if yes when will that change? Could your interview be a question and answer spot every 2 weeks or so to keep fans in the loop? Ok ill settle for those being answered Jeff thank you.

Agree0 Disagree0

Jeff, will you be asking him to do a regular slot on the radio where fans questions can be put to him on a weekly basis?

Think this would greatly improve the communication and involving the fans would be far batter than the weekly Bates propoganda which we had to put up with previously.

What I have heard on twitter that Ross is linked with Malaga can't see it personally but you never know

Believable0 Unbelievable0

If Ross has a chance of joining Malaga he should take it. They are a passionate crowd (very) the ground only holds about 30,000 but is full almost every home game. I went two years ago to see Malaga play Seville, (a local derby, but about 150k from Malaga) the atmosphere was absolutely brilliant, not a hint of any trouble, both sets of supporters freely mixing before the game, although there was a large police presence, get yourself out here Mac. oh & by the way the sunshines almost everyday.

Agree0 Disagree0

Same atmosphere at Valencia games before and after the match fans from both sides drinking in the bars outside the stadium. And yes I can confirm its sunny almost everyday!

The black and white photos of Cloughie on his first day feature some boys in the car park kicking a ball around. It's me and the Clough boys. In school holidays I'd get the 52 bus and go watch the great side train on Fullerton Park. I'd fetch the balls and even throw the ball in the air for Jordan and Gordon to head. Don spoke to me a couple of times and Billy once sent me to the shop. I can tell you right now, of all the players I've ever spoken to, perhaps with the exception of the rather shy paul Reaney, Eddie Gray is the most likeable. He's a caring soul and I'm sure he's embarrassed by the talk around his being paid as an ambassador. He's an ambassador paid or not and always will be. (Later when I was old enough to know better} I'd still pop in to watch the latter day teams train. I remember a lovely conversation with Peter Haddock before the team travelled to their date with destiny in Bournemouth. He was a really decent bloke who I suspect would have played for nothing. Of the current crop, I know that Rodolph is almost unbearably shy and Ross is always willing to help charities. Not all footballers are nasty pieces of work. Not all.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

For every Eddie Gray there's a Ryan Hall.

Cool story though. i'm sure those are some great memories to have.

Agree0 Disagree0

Dr.T can confirm the shyness of Paul Reaney. One day I was at Fullerton Park autograph hunting, & asked Paul for his autograph, he told me he wasn't a first team player and, was I sure I wanted his autograph, I told him I did and, with more than a little hesitation he signed my autograph book. I thanked him and, told him I would watch his progress, little knowing what a great player he would turn out to be.

If Darren bent would take a pay cut in line with some of our mid-high earners would you take him?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No thanks, he's far too lazy

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm thinking if McCormack does the work and bent taps em in lol

So what does everyone think about Cellino cutting costs?

Good thing?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

You can't keep loosing 1 million a month and expect to be successful. It's about time someone grabbed the club by the scruff and sorted it out. You have to break a few eggs to make an omelette.

Can we all agree now not to be negative next season? Heavy financial trouble will hinder our progress and anything top half is a good season in my book! All about building for the season after. Our better players in McCormack, Byram, Mowatt, Murphy & Pearce are all under contract in 2 years time, only other player I'd want to keep from the current squad is Smith.
