The last English manager to win the English top flight was the great Sergeant Wilko and he managed Boston United in his early managerial years. Now call it a coincidence but so did Stevie E. Both had mediocre managerial careers before rocking up at ER and I'm now convinced Stevie E is the man for us. Keep your Moyes, but respect to him for making MU into a mid table team. Stevie E says it as it is and will bust a gut to bring success to Leeds - just look at the state of him after Hudds game!

MM.

Absolutely Mick, could not agree more. It feels right, big Steve can motivate, empower and enthuse his players. Its exciting times I am thinking. I hope if any takeover occurs it takes a little while, you cannot dispense with a manager who has just won several matches on the bounce! It feels like all of a sudden things have fallen into place and I truly believe marching on with the big fella is going to be successful. Next 2 games will tell, if we can beat Rotherham and QPR then people will take note and you won't be able to get the odds I have taken on us lol. Smile and wave boys and down those pints ready for the rise of the Whites.

The aptly named Mad Mick, I think United finished 7th for 1 season, the true accolades should surely go to Ridsdale, Reid and Gray. Many think that they should be Knighted for their services to football in making LU a bottom half Championship team.

TOT66. A tad harsh on Reidy And 'The Legend' Gray. They were just pawns used eflect the attention from the total destruction club by the main offender, Ridsdale.

Probably right there Lucas, I admit they were given little to work with but I don't think they did the best with what they had.

Who's this new geezer TIT66 then? I'm not sure he is a proper Leeds fan?

Geezer? Such a pleasant greeting and I can confirm that I am 100% a proper United fan.

Bit unfair on Wilko MM. I remember him guiding Wednesday up to 4th or 5th in old div 1 table, before he came to Yorkshires finest.

I realized that Danum my fellow Leeds pal. Just a touch of sardonicism to the new geezer, wherever he sprung from!

If? Steve Parkin does invest and wants moyes in I think he needs to settle in first b4 he starts throwing his weight around and doing a Cellino! And I for one dnt think moyes is the answer maybe defensively but not midfield and attack minded!

So Steve Parkin has not got through the door and already were havin a new manager. Steve keep your powder dry, Big Steve may be a rough diamond with the balls to sort out this squad and the fans and the media and the current chairman and agents and anyone else who gets in his way. This guy is aiming for the top, no carefully managed press conferences, full of passion and fire! It's certainly not broken so why would we need David Moyes to sort it out.
My advice to any prospective new owners, I've been around for a long time and I'm really liking what I'm seeing, let's just roll with it.
On another note he does need a little help with some of the squad, as you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear!

Would rather see someone buy out ghf and come in with cellino or buy the full package but for me would rather see gfh go First leeches.

Agree. Buy out the leeches, buy back the stadium, spend a few quid on players - that's the sort of investment I'd like.

The problem is the leech has openly stated they only want a price equivalent to if Leeds were in the PL.

Speedy I'll get my wallet out mate ha ha

As we are Leeds, nothing will ever be that simple, but Parkin (clean cut able to run Leeds when MC banned) and MC as a partnership could work, mad Italian and back to basics Yorkshire lad. it just could you know. and I would keep S Evans as another down to earth Scotsman. wow what a combo that would be.

That's my thinking the leeches hanging in there wanting somebody else to do the work and they reap the reward this is lfu should be trying to buy and lust protesting against or are they blind.

If Bridcutt wanted to come to Leeds he would be here by now, this one is dead in the water. Sounds like he's after a payday and agent touting him around the championship trying to instigate an auction. I say f%^k him. Clearly not motivated to be playing football, poor mentality imo, will detract from what we already have.

Moyes had handy number at Everton no expectations just avoid relegation where as Evans had to perform and still does moyes now knows what pressure is and is feeling it so again no thanks.

Parkin is not getting off on the right foot if he is to take control. At least give evans a chance to lose a few games before he talks about replacing him. A bit cart before horse letting his manager wish be known before he has his hands on the tiller, unprofessional. I agree with wex, when he has been up against it looks like he can't deliver, no massive pressure at everton. goes to munure, can't assert himself, bullied by bacon face, spain a step too far. Not convinced.

For me, David Moyes, no thank you! Would find it very difficult to support him at Leeds.
