Leeds playing Saturday, Tuesday Friday. 3 games in six days. Too many for such a depleted squad. SG needs to act quickly to bring in some quality short term loan players.

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Think he knows that too. although it's likely to lead to substandard loanees just to make the numbers.

Agree1 Disagree2

2 Finnish internationals signed in past week, does that sound sub-standard to you?SG is building well, expect at least one more,be a match for anyone then.

Agree1 Disagree0

Maybe we should just resign from the league, then the players wouldn't have top play at all?

I am sure Simon Grayson doesn't need the likes of you to remind him how many games we have each week, nor how many players we have, or how many are actually fit enough to play??

Agree0 Disagree0

No doubt the whingers will be on again saying that Finland aren't a great team, that we must be paying peanuts, etc?

Why not look at the bigger picture and realise there are some good players still around who WANT to play football and are prepared to try and do a job for Leeds, rather than kicking everyone who signs up and treating them as to$$ers just because we can get hold of them????

with zac Thompson apparently injuring his ankle in training (see O/S) it's even more painfully obvious that midfield cover needs attention in addition to sorting a decent defence. Youd think TV money for the cup game and ticket monies would cover at least one decent loanee
Cost me £74 in East Stand lower for two tickets as members and £5 parking, £4 programme then whatever food we get. Ok parking doesn't belong to us but seriously...sort
it out Bates!

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Its £6.00 parking near the ground, £3.00 if you want to walk half a mile.

Agree0 Disagree0

Park in the back streets near the Wagon and Horses for free, walk over the steel bridge to the ground ,takes about 10mins to the ground.

Agree1 Disagree0

Oh yes duh forgot it had gone up. lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Or just go on supporters bus from suffolk like us and park outside ground..lol

Agree0 Disagree1

Unfortunately there are a lot of complacent supporters on here who don't realise the sacrifices and costs some of us make to get to a game (as well as a lot who probably do appreciate it!) Last game I wayched was the Hull City one, fortunately I was in Rotherham on a course, but still cost £37 for a ticket, £8 each way to Rotherham staion by taxi, around £10 train return and a couple of quid bus fare down to the ground, and that was before something to eat and drink.

To be honest the £37 for the ticket and £4 for the program was well spent, in my opinion, after watching the 4-1 win, and I seriously cannot blame Ken Bates for the cost of getting to the ground as it's not his fault I wasn't born in God's county......

Strikers - 1 of the best in the season

Midfield - not bad I think if we add clinigan we will be then strong

Defence - is very very thin we need a quality cb an lb and personally I think we have a very high chance of promotion

Let's keep are heads high an believe in the squad instead of knocking them

MOT 4 LIFE !!

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Possibly Wilson and Pugh?

I think that it is clear that there are major problems behind the scenes:

1. No new defenders in, yet for 12 months that is glaringly what we need.

2. Constantly told money is there, however never spent, so is it there?

3. Players continually being allowed to run contracts down.

4. Best players going for nothing or next to nothing.

5. Young players in a team being asked too much at such an early stage.

6. Snodgrass, body language very poor and has not put in a 'quality' performance since Christmas 2011.

7. Squad depth painfully thin.

8. Loan players bought in constantly inadequate or not up to it.

9. Paddy is clearly lacking pace at this level.

10. Michael Brown is too old, slow and ill disciplined.

11. Ill discipline leading to too many sendings off and bookings.

12. No identified penalty taker of note.

I think that just about covers it.

Believable3 Unbelievable3

I don't know if you were there but I seem to remember being at The Emirates last year when a certain Mr Snodgrass stood up and sent the travelling hoardes into delerium..... oh those were the days. Anyway, I digress. I'm sure Snoddy would happily take on penalty duties. I mean, come on, he doesn't have to run to far does he?!

Agree2 Disagree0

Excellent summary of the current situation.

Agree3 Disagree0

Agree with most penalty takers shoddy becchio now hes back Nunez has a good set peice on him ps it's not yet been Christmas 2011

Agree0 Disagree0

Damn i missed christmas and half the season, hard to believe its 2012 already, at least the tranfers window is open again, happy new year to you all.

Remember how we got out of this division last time.... Howard Wilkinson built an organised, fit, strong disciplined unit went out and bought Vinnie Jones, Gordon Strachan at little cost introduced Batty and Speed - all could defend and win the ball as well as play. Grayson's plan - sorry scribbles on a fag packet - is not working Wilkinson built a team not only capable of winning the Division but almost all were capable of playing in the top division - how many of our current team could have an impact in the Premier League ! ..............early days but maybe
Clayton. GRAYSON OUT OUT OUT!

Believable8 Unbelievable9

F*** off, we don't need "supporters" like you anywhere near our club.

IDIOTS OUT OUT OUT!

Agree5 Disagree2

Get with the times, grandad.

Agree2 Disagree3

Very true Grayson out now before it's too late the damage is here for us to see, it seems some have there eyes shut. SG is the worst thing for leeds he has proved how clueless he is!

Agree3 Disagree4

Mate with these new finnish lads on board and two loanees (Wilson and Pugh possiblites we will be fine and plus 1decent addition in January using the money got for gradel and kasper well be top 8+ not saying were world beating but average teams in a Leeds kit do well not sure y

Agree0 Disagree0

Wouldn't it be so boring to have the best team in the world and beat everybody out of sight??

If you don't want the ups and downs and challenges of being a Leeds supporter, I suggest you take up knitting, or maybe macrame......

It wouldn't matter if Ferdinand and Vidic were at the heart of our defence - they would be made to look ordinary because Grayson selects a lighweight midfield. Lets face it Howson may be Leeds through and through but he is not good enough, a passenger when we havent got the ball and even his control and distrubution is getting worse - play him alongside another passenger defensively in Nunez and an old man in Brown and hey presto our defence is exposed and overun - we have needed 2 quality holding midfielders for 2 years now - sort it out Grayson or go -allowing the hardest working defensive wide man in the league Gradel and our best ball winner in Johnson to go without getting replacements is scandelous mis-management. We can't blame lack of funds we have more squad strikers than Man Utd!!

Believable7 Unbelievable3

Ok whre are two holding midfielders in Man Utd's team? and they seem to do ok!

Agree1 Disagree0

You are talking different class. They keep possession and can counter attack from all positions. Having a strong back four obviously helps but notice when they have to chop and change there is no noticable difference. No substitute for Quality in depth.

Agree0 Disagree0

Spot on bud, plus how many times do you see Rooney making timely tackles in his own box,its not just class its workrate,Nunez could take notice.

Agree2 Disagree0

Didn't see Rooney do much defending tonight.....

... he seemd to give up every time the ball was taken way from him, Leeds take note, but maybe he is just saving his energy for his next hair transplant....

Sorry to say Simon have to drop Paddy.Drop in
form since his injury.Simon has to look to the loan
window and get in a experienced RB,LB and CB as
well as a defensive midfielder.Danny Pugh and
Danny Wilson are the latest link to Leeds. Get
them in before Leeds face Bristol City.On the
Palace game(Leeds won 3-2)the midfield was not
supporting the defence.With Clayton injured,
Brown was outpaced by the opposition.Clayton
was sorely missed.Even Howson was clueless
(Heard he wasn't feeling well).Nunez couldn't
defend because he is more a attacking player.
That put the defence under heavy pressure.
Luckily Lonergan made some good saves if not
Palace would have got the 3 points.Lots of calls
Simon have to make.Hopefully he gets the right
players in.The games are coming thick and fast.
In Grayson we trust.

So Sven may well get the bullet if things don't improve at Leicester, just goes to show, you can spend, spend, spend on signings don't mean they are any good,or can play together. Leicester panicking already.
Good result saturday to come from behind heads could have dropped.
Leeds til i die.

Believable8 Unbelievable0

I think we should hope Sven stays where he is - another team to beat!

It is about time Simon reorganise the defence.
Leeds are light in defence and midfield as shown
in the Palace game. Luckily Leeds won the game.
Sorry to say Paddy is slow and not quite matchfit.
I do not know why Simon likes to bring in so many
strikers.Leeds is strong in attack but weak in
defence and light in midfield.Rumours going round
that Leeds might bring in Danny Pugh and Danny
Wilson.Hopefully its true.Brown's not the answer
in the midfield.Need to bring in a pacy experience
defensive midfielder. In the Palace game the mid
field is not supporting the defence. Nunez is a
attacking player not a defensive one. From my
point of view,I think the defence should be Lee
partnering O'Dea in CB, Bromby as RB,White in LB.
On the plus side Charlie Taylor did well as LB in
the Palace game so I would not rule him out for
the LB but be given time to settle in this role.
Needs more games under his belt and wish
Clayton returns. The midfield was not moving
when he is not around as evident in the Palace
game. Please address the weakness fast Simon.
In Grayson we trust.

Connoly
Bruce
Obrien
Bromby
Parker
Will all be sold in the next transfer window and quality defensive signings will be made m.o.t

Believable4 Unbelievable3

Ok I'll open the bidding as I need some blokes to do security at my club! £10 the lot and a free pass for KB to dance the night away until his ticker explodes! On second thoughts Connolly can clean the bogs.....

Agree2 Disagree0

I really doubt all those centre backs will be sold as it will leave us really short incase of injury, even if we bought 2 new cb we only have odea on loan and kiso then (i think the youngsters will be used as full backs this year) id keep bruce or bromby and get 2 new ones. dont think connoly will go either.

keep the faith its early days and we will be up there atfter new year. MOT

SUPER LEEDS

chorley white

Agree0 Disagree0

I'll pay Connolly's taxi fare to wherever, just as long as he bogs off pronto! Worst player ever to pull on the sacred white jersey IMHO. Absolutely clueless, paceless, positional sense of an iceberg and turns about as quickly too. Add to that his reluctance to tackle and he should be humanely put down at the least!

Agree2 Disagree4

Worse players have worn a Leeds Shirt - try Mike O'Grady; Peter Barnes; Thomas Brolin; Michael Duberry and more recently George McCartney !

Agree5 Disagree0

Agree about connolly and all the others - but I thought Peter barnes was ok - I think a worse one was Kevin hird

Agree2 Disagree0

At least Kevin Hird kept involved and tried to make things happen in a poor Leeds team when others were hidding. Talking of hidding, being lazy, and workrate is George McCartney related to Peter Barnes? Certainly couldn't fault Michael (Cheerleader) Duberry for effort -just ability - worst Centre Half to play for Leeds

Agree0 Disagree0

Paul Butler, Sean Gregan, Richard Cresswell and Kevin Nicholls! {Ed045's Note - Roque Junior?

Agree1 Disagree0

Ok that's enough of the poor list - what's the thoughts on the best player to pull on the White shirt in recent memory - I'm going for Tony Currie or Billy Bremner

Agree1 Disagree0

Roque junior was by far the worst centre half ive ever seen pull on a leeds shirt....made me piss my sides against swindon in the cup at e/r

Agree1 Disagree0

Duberry?? bad?? get a life he was a great player

Agree1 Disagree1

Dont any of you remember john pearson

Agree0 Disagree0

Ah yes Roque Junior. how many caps for Brazil?! just reminded me of Lamine "Sack of s****" Sakho.

Agree0 Disagree0

Jacob burns? joel griffiths? sebastien sorsa? filipe da costa? i could go on lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Ken de mange or sumut like that

Agree0 Disagree0

I remember John Pearson and would agree to some point, certainly sticks in my memory. My own choice would be Nigel Martyn though.....
