{Ed007's Note - He was on trial at Scunthorpe at the turn of the month.}

we could always switch berandi to right back bring Charlie back to left back then at some point granddi ngoyi must start a game bambi rates him there are options instead of leaving things as they are byram mowatt wide midfield with ngoyi and murphy in middle and then well two strikers try a new one and even give cani a run out or back with ant and doukara

You're absolutely right about N'Goyi mate. Saw earlier that Redders was gushing over how the back four looks shaky without Cook, and that we're missing the player to replace him. Surely N'Goyi is the natural replacement.

Well, while we are testing people who have got better memories than I have these days - what was the match I went to when there was a crowd of over 57000 (capacity was 52000)? Was it against Celtic? Was so blooming packed in it was impossible to get out to go to the loo. You can guess the rest.

The Kop was shut once following fans invading the pitch when Leeds played Man City and the crowd of 57000 was when Leeds played Sunderland in a FA cup replay the score was 1-1 the second replay was played at Boothferry Park which Leeds won 1-0

Just remembered Jimmy Adamson was manager at the time and it was his decision to close the Kop after the trouble. I cannot remember who they played the Saturday the Kop was closed I was there and remember that the game lacked atmosphere. Some may remember when Leeds were forced by the FL to play their first 4 home games away from Elland Road after other crowd troubles. Those were the days

I remember the Man City cup game, it was around77/78. I was with the Billingham Supporters Club at the back of the Kop on the left side. Somehow with the surge to get on the pitch I ended up as far down as you could go. As a 14/15 year old I think I may have soiled my y- wraps because I was that scared! The guy who had a go at Joe Corrigan was from our supporters club.
I remember my father insisting I follow another team as Leeds fans were forever making the headlines, Paris 75 was still at the forefront of my fathers memory.
Now in my 50's, I'm still Leeds through and through!!

NR says we are missing Lewis cooke soooooo much, hmmn well sure the 17 year old has had a good season but come on Neil, is our team based around a 17 year old in their first season? If so then why? to say something like that is an admission to failure in my book.If he doesn't play we fall apart doesn't really make sense to me.

The last 3 games have been poor, OK against blackburn unlucky with a man off and wolves are a good side but the performance against Cardiff was shocking, I will be there tomorrow and let's see what happens but we need to show something in these last few games for next season.

If we don't I fear we will be in the same position we are always in come the start of the summer, i.e. need a new side/plan/manager, start again which never works.

I believe we have the basis of a solid team, as we all know we do need a wide option (or 2), another center half used to championship and another goal scoring forward (which is always the hardest to find I know).

If someone offered 10m for Sam then we should take it and then MC should reinvest that plus say 3m more (some of Ross funds not used perhaps) and for 13m you will be able to get above players without MC putting loads of his own money in re financial fair play/being tight etc.

Keep Lewis (too young to move yet) and mowatt as basis of midfield and we need a manager who has plan A and B, uses subs well, I keen hoping, maybe things clearer once mad MC back but you somehow doubt it! Rant over, can see a 2-2 draw against Norwich as team should play much better after a rocket you would hope.

I over estimated our points tally at 4. That was 3 games ago and it's only er 0!
Let's see what happens tomorrow??

Wont be 0-4 Ausman, well if it is I'm going to cry ha ha. We do have some good players, 4 young ones, heard 1-2 more in wings, I like Bamba Silvestri (if he learns how to come for the odd cross!) Bellusci, Murphy and Austin is OK and Ngoyi could be good if was not injurged by all accounts, so in a matchday squad of 16 we have say 11-12 so we need 1 defender, 1-2 speedie different midfielders and at least 1 forward that's how I look at it.

I used to live in Aus mate when I was 3-9, NSW by Paramatta and the guy who trained our jnr rugby league team I played in was the younger brother of Malcolm Reilly who played for Manly (I always supported south sydney which is kinda weird now with RC connection).

It was great he trained us like pro's at the age of 6, we had to run round a whole horse racetrack as part of pre-season, it worked and in 3 years we won cup/league double every year, then in my last year we lost by 1 point in a semi and this massive guy cried, I will always remember that.

So small world!

Is Redfearn good enough? imo no.too many players playing out of position, no use of squad.
Wooton not good enough 6 months ago but now regular right back, which he is not. We have Berardi and young Coyle who would be better there or Byram. Centre backs keep messing up so we just rotate the same three when we have Fabro who is class. Taylor again playing out of position, if you have two good wing backs use them as wing backs, put Bamba Berlusci and Fabro in centre and let the wing backs loose.
Midfield lacking the final ball or anyone who can attack from midfield. Mowatt redeemed himself with his goals but at times does not put the effort in. Cook a revelation but the amount of games has took its toll, just hope its not one of those injuries that keep coming back. Murphy does the job but nothing impressive, tends to drift in and out of games. Byram out of position plays well but think he would be more dangerous at wing back. Same with Taylor. Could play 4 in midfield but would add attacking midfielders. Adryan, Cook, Mowatt, Montenegro with Ant up front or you could push Montenegro up front with Ant for two forwards. Bench should be balanced, Taylor, Berardi, Cooper, Phillips, Sloth, Bianchi, Doukara. Loan out Dawson and Walters to toughen them up. Let go Morrison, Sharp, Wooton, Cani, Benedicic, Ngoyi, Tonge.
Young players to watch, Parkin, Coyle and Phelps.
