So clever! Fact he's going for £12million and Wendy bought him for £3 million. Cellino is a genius. Season after season he sorts business out early and gets pre season sored out as soon as the season ends. We're so lucky to have him. Everyone else is envious, everywhere I go other fans say "wish we had your owner".

Ironically Bamba stating we need signings for every position. he's bang on there, especially at CB! Wood needs to be benched, sold, loaned, lost, he brings nothing other than a lump of meat to the field! He scored 13 last season several being penalties but how many chances did he miss! Get rid. Ok was at game today, so will try and do a fair review, first half was not bad, good movement in midfield and we did create 2-3 good situations, Brum had 1 and scored.
2nd half was poor did not create much, no pace lack of ideas never looked like scoring really.
Players
Green 6- average only, maybe could have come out quicker on first goal, punched well.
Ayling 7 - just from his first game has potential to do a solid job.
Taylor- caught out for first goal and never went fwd at all. He was the only one not to celebrate when we scored as I watch him-5 should sell him now.
Bamba - both our CH's didn't deal with second goal but apart from that they both looked OK, not great but ok- 6 for both.
vieira- 5 caught out a lot, gave ball away a lot
Mowatt - first half excellent, great passing, set up chances like the player of 2 years ago. Second half he disappeared completely-5
Pablo - 5 looks like he could be very good but today he did give away the ball a lot, some good passes but played too deep for me.
Sacko -7, tried hard good first half but faded, did try and some good runs.
Wood- 4 a few ok touches in first half but no real goal threat, second half very poor.
Antonsson - 6 looked most likely to score but in truth he was average really.
First half 7, second half 4, over 28000 there and good support but that second half showing was just like so many games last year, which considering it is a different team is a bit worrying, Tuesday now becomes a must win already in some ways and Wendies away after that.

Hi mate, can't understand your rating. Best of 20? We played good in some parts of the game but we keep on conceeding. That will be down to all the team. Start with minus -1 for each conceded goal. Makes -2 for each player.
For an average display 4-5 will make +3 at the most. Some were better some worse. I Think the new RB looked decent.
Man of the match gives him 6-2 a 4.

I'm liking how Monk is saying we are too soft and have been for years. Spot on! Let's just hope he can persuade MC to dig his hands far enough into his pockets to sort it out. And I'd make a start by changing the captain personally. Or is that going to be Bridcutt?

Watch this space - next game, as long as Monk makes that change up front then we will come good. I said weeks ago that this team (management and players) are behind the drag curve, I blame MC for not making the decision with regard SE sooner. We have the ability and we just need the win to start believing. We are just not utilising the possession effectively- bit of mis communication mixed with jitters and giving silly balls away then getting caught on the hop. Our defence on corners/ set pieces is another matter. I still think LC can do a job for us at RB and needs to be given game time. I think Coops and RB might make a better pairing or maybe even move Ayling in? Yes we have to look at additional players but actually we are not too far off. Just my oppinion - keep the faith MOT.

Agree, no need to panic, was at the game today and obviously disappointed but not all doom and gloom. Green ok today, can't criticise him as their first was a lightening quick break and second a strike from just a few yards out. Thought Ayling had a good debut and confident on the ball, one surging run from defence. I do feel sorry for Bamba as he really wants to do well but had another shocker. Bartley ok, Taylor sort of ok but still feel that once you've handed in a transfer request, can things ever be the same?
Vieira will come good but a lot of misplaced passes and we cannot rely on such a young lad to shore up the midfield, need to nurture his obvious talent. Hernandez tried to get things moving but most of his passes went astray, will put it down to fatigue as he played the full 2 hours on wednesday after a limited pre-season. Mowatt just hasn't got the pace to change a game from central midfield and makes most impact from the bench. Sacko is worth persevering with, pace like his will worry any team. Antonsson started well and although he didn't get much of a look in in 2nd half, he looks a great buy. Wood. FFS
Thought Phillips looked good when he came on and added steel that had been missing before, surely must start on Tuesday and rest Vieira. Roofe missed with a header from an Ayling cross but don't doubt he'll be fine once he settles in. Can't understand why people boo when we lose, yes we pay our cash to watch games and have a right to an opinion but what will it achieve? Any manager worth his salt will see what needs doing.

Green may well prove no better than Silver Vest but that's no big deal. Mowatt is a luxury player who needs to discover what he's really about until then should be a sub. Vieira is going to get stronger and hopefully once Bridcutt arrives will learn more to his game. Taylor we all know about I'd sell. Real problem is Bamba and Wood. They are garbage and need replacing. Been saying this for months and those who said Wood would score 20 plus this season were clueless and know who they are. We only 3 players from a good side. Let's see what the next 2 weeks of the window brings.

You will probably all kick me for this but I think Monk needs to realise how good Silvestri actually is? Yes he may let in stupid goals now and then but he has better reflexes and looking at Green conceding 7 goals in 3 games (ok he saved a penalty v Fleetwood but still let another 4 in) this points to a major problem?
I really cannot understand how Silvestri has been told to find another club, surely this smacks of what happened with Schmeikels a few seasons back?
Rob Green has consistently proven (ask QPR! ) how suspect he is, I really can't understand how we even came to buy him, let alone put him above ALL the other options we have?
The rest of the team are starting to sort themselves out, changing this number of players all at once is never going to work out for at least a few games? I would be reasonably happy to see a top half finish this year, but while Green is there we are already shipping water?
Put Silvestri back in with Green on the bench if we have to justify buying him?
Somehow I don't think it's just Taylor and Mowatt that will be wanting out this year, we have a great young goalkeeper who must be regretting renewing his contract now.

Wood is totally surplus to requirements. He doesn't fight for a ball he wants it on the end of his foot and when that happens he generally misses. Antonson's goal in the Fleetwood game was a wakeup call for Monk to realise just how lethargic Wood is. Get rid. We have already seen that any one of several Leeds players can take a penalty and score, not just Wood.

George Chris wood got 13 goals last season with rubbish wide service and he missed quite a few games at end of season so I think its understandable people thinking he could get 20 goals with better service.

Wood is not going to get 20 goals . Him and bamba are rubbish and they are the positions thst need filling . Get the kid in from dundee, lescott and rico henry for taylor as his head is well and truly turned. As a few have said though we aren't far off no panic yet.

We have now conceded seven (7) goals in three games - with two goals conceded against a league 1 side. I always said we dropped points last year mainly due to our inability to score so any lapses at all at the back were seen as critical. Last season we usually conceded no goals or just one. Occasionally it might have been two. When we conceded it usually meant lost points. Nevertheless we had a stronger defence when Belusci played alongside Cooper. Just look at the goals against column. It is right he was shipped out because of his attitude and errors but make no mistake the other two CHs were worse. When he went it was crucial that we recruited a couple of better centre halves which we have not done and without Belusci there to cover up the shortcomings we are seeing just how bad Bamba is. I'm not saying bring Belusci back just get rid of Bamba and bring in someone decent. Another hobby horse of mine is Wood. Does anybody still deny he is hopeless. Today nobody played well in the second half apart from perhaps Ayling but Bamba and Wood were stand poor all the game. We need to sell Taylor and with the cash buy a goal scoring striker, A commanding CH and a replacement left back. They won't come cheap but without them we will struggle. If he comes Bridcutt should make a difference but we still need those critical areas strengthening. I enjoyed the first half but we conceded when on top and second just needs forgetting except for the players who should be made to watch the video over and over again. Then they will know what the fans have to go through week in week out.

You don't get it. The issue about Belusci is jat nearly everybody was on his back whilst failing to recognise how bad all the other CHs were. He's gone and just look at the mess we're in. I'm not a great fan of Belusci I just see he was better than the other rubbish and kept the goal count down from what it is now. I have no problem with him going but As I have consistently said we need a complete overhaul in that department but we are not getting it.
