Is it just me or is anybody else sick to the back teeth of TC and his post match “there are a lot of positives to take from this defeat” TC I’m sorry but there are no positives anymore from a defeat, there are no shining moments and until that time stop saying it! At least stop patronising us Leeds fans, I for one want some honesty, if he says yes we were bad and we need signings then let’s get on with it but please ffs stop saying everything is rosy when it obviously isn’t! Fed up with this dross in and off the field!

Believable4 Unbelievable10

13 Jan 2018 23:06:51
Well be honest yourself them Mike there was positives to take from today's game. Like the fact that even with 10 men we were unlucky not to come away with at least a point

Agree6 Disagree3

14 Jan 2018 00:09:12
2 shots on target Wex! Less possession! Only 1 corner! In fact there were not many of the stats that went in our favour! We played a team that are weak and in a bad losing run, but as usual we don’t turn up! Wex, while I respect you and your posts, you really can’t take positives from 2 shots on target, one corner and a sending off, we should be winning and we are not!

No positives from losing mate, non at all! I am not going to become one of those, “oh yea we lost but there were loads of positives to take from it”! “Oh yea we were poor today but lots of positives to take away with me”! We will have to change our song eh Wex “Marching on Together with lots of positives to take”!

Or maybe change our “Leeds, Leeds, Leeds” to “Positives, Positives, Positives, we going to see you win”! It’s about it was said as it is! I’m sick of onwards and upwards, it’s time it was forward only!

Agree1 Disagree5

14 Jan 2018 07:32:59
Mike, everyone can see exactly what you are saying and agree with you, the only thing is, he is already looking at the next fixture and trying to get the mentality right . He has got to think of team moral, if he came out and said what he really thought would he get the players to play for him in the next match ? The day of reckoning for the players after these performances comes when they are no longer wanted by the club and have to find another club.

Agree2 Disagree0

14 Jan 2018 08:03:35
Mike games are not all about stats and of course they were going to have more possession when playing 10 men

Agree3 Disagree2

14 Jan 2018 13:57:41
I'm with you Wex, lots of criticism on here about TC whatever he does. Yesterday was always going to be tough without Saiz, Ayling and viera and very tough after Okane and we lost by one goal! Let's get behind the manager and the players and hold off on criticising what we have done in the window until it has closed and we really know how it has gone. I'm enjoying the season, I'm seeing positive changes at the club and I think we are better run than under bates or cellino. Still mistakes, still things to improve on, but going in the right direction. Remember winning and losing together!

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Jan 2018 15:41:05
So we’re a one team player now that’s good says it all

Agree0 Disagree2

14 Jan 2018 16:18:15
Good logical post Spanish. By my reckoning, Saiz, Ayling, and Viera are 3 players? And three very important players to our team! A couple of well selected players this window, if the right price, will see us staying in the mix right up until the fat lady bursts into singing MOT!

Agree2 Disagree0

13 Jan 2018 22:07:14
This is the time when the owner shows his ambition. Buy quality or let Orta buy some cheap shite from the continent who we haven't heard of. We need at least four 1st team players including a keeper, midfielder, winger and centre forward otherwise another season to come in 2nd division.

Believable3 Unbelievable2

14 Jan 2018 11:20:35
We need to buy a whole new team!

Agree3 Disagree2

14 Jan 2018 16:21:31
So we can sell Saiz, Viera, Pontus, Ayling, Roofe, Hernandez, Alioski and Berra then, if we need a whole new team?

13 Jan 2018 20:02:30
Didn't get to see the game. What did O'Kane do?

13 Jan 2018 20:59:21
Watched the incident wasn't much in it I thought

Agree2 Disagree2

13 Jan 2018 21:04:43
Hardly touched him, and the lad went down like a sack of turds. but again, like Samu, he simply shouldn't have done it!

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Jan 2018 21:19:57
Doesn't matter if there wasn't much in it or if he hardly touched him the fact I am he knows he can't move his head towards another player like that! Especially with are already existing issues with suspensions and injuries and lack of action in those areas (midfield, attack) in the transfer market a set yet. He's a brainless fool for what he did away from home in a game we could and needed to win before the run of games we have coming after milwall

Agree1 Disagree0

13 Jan 2018 19:00:55
Well I think it's finally glaringly obvious that we are a 12-15 position team. Don't think that Radz will splash out on what is needed to make the last half if the season interesting. And we will be starting again next season because the likes if Pontus and Saiz will be off to better things. Or more lucrative things anyway. I'm not saying get rid of TC. Not yet anyway. But nothing to suggest he is ' the one '

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Jan 2018 20:40:48
Totally agree Speedy. Radz needs to do something to get morale up and keep us all backing TC and the board - Nothing will increase fan backing more than bringing in a quality midfield option (strong tackler and creative) , first team defensive cover (or starter! ) and a 20 (Maybe 30 in the Championship) goal striker - And that's JUST to solidify top half status! TC doesn't get much stick, but I worry where is plan b and does he even have one? Freshen the squad (a little) and go again until May. We can do this. MOT SM

Agree1 Disagree1

13 Jan 2018 21:52:25
Not much any manager can do when a player goes kamikaze and ruins the game. Cheer up we are still in an ok position and plenty of the season left to go.

14 Jan 2018 10:42:31
That's true Alf. But what positives signs have you seen that leads you to think we might do well in the remaining games ?

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Jan 2018 18:47:32
What was O'Kane thinking of, if he was thinking at all. Is he Samus best mate? Do they have a holiday in Spain booked for this week? If so can Cibicki carry their bags?

Believable2 Unbelievable0

I see we are linked with a 17 year old wonderkid. Either he really is special or he is "one for the future". We seem to be putting all our eggs- in the future. I hope they all hatch out when the future does come or we could be in deep chicken sh*t.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

13 Jan 2018 18:53:52
Do any of these kids that we are signing have a Dad that can play? Surely worth a go, can’t be any worse! 😂😂

Agree3 Disagree2

13 Jan 2018 18:29:36
I agree that possibly signings are required, now, but I do not want panic buying. I do not want a knee jerk reaction. I would rather we struggle on with what we have than buy the wrong player or pay over the odds. If the right man cannot be found (at the right price) then let's just accept mid table and just try our best with what we have for the rest of the season. I do not think for one minute that we have a bad team. At times we have an ordinary team that can play top 2 football. The main thing they lack is consistency, to which you may add discipline. We (famous last words) will not implode and slide into the relegation zone so let's bite the bullet and just consolidate this year.

Milwall is a must win game now. Drop points to them, with the fixtures to follow, we will start to see top 6 pull away. Apart from Pontus, Bearadi have we got the players up for the battle? I hope so.

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Jan 2018 18:04:16
As predicted - a loss. If it isn't lack of creativity or quality in front of goal it's lack of discipline. We have too many shortcomings. I think we were shading it in the first half then lost O'Kane. We were again shading it in the second but missed the chances we they came. You know that with this team they will concede in situations like this. We did at Newport and we have done it again. Ipswich were not good and were come off the back of three straight defeats. Playing like this we are in for a torrid couple of months. Mid table at best unless we bring in some quality. Losogga, Sacko need to go. Grot out on loan. So no Saiz, no Aling, no O'Kane. Vierrra just recovering as is Dallas. Chisbikki (can't spell it) out I think for a bit. We have just about eleven starters - no back up. Substitutions will not provide any game changers although I think some of TC's ideas in this respect are bizarre anyway.

another poor result, players taking flak but i don't think they are that poor, are they really worse than bristol, cardiff sheff utd or maybe even derby. no like last year we had prem players and play off squad but manager was poor (as shown with middlesborough, they sacked monk got pulis and doing better) forget players we need a great manager he would get best from our squad. tc is decent like monk but not good enough, please let leeds have a good manager i forgot what they look like and a manager is worth five good players at least just ask cardiff, bristol or sheff utd

100% agreement on the manager comment. it can never be as bad a Hockaday but Christiansen was NEVER the man for the job and I predict it will NOT improve. As I said before, he got the job on a powerpoint presentation! Once I heard he was manager I placed a bet on PaddyPower for league position. it's not in the top 6.

Agree3 Disagree3

13 Jan 2018 18:21:14
TC must be finding it hard to keep finding the positives each week for his post match press conferences, but bless him he keeps trying. Reminds me of that saying; You can fool all the people some of the time, and you can fool some of the people all of the time, but you can't fool all the people all of the time.

Agree 're manager but also think players are mediocre. Definitely not good enough for a promotion push

Agree1 Disagree0

13 Jan 2018 20:54:15
As you say, the squad is depleted, and lacking in depth. I'd challenge the best of managers to do any better with the tools at his disposal. There's no point jumping on the managers back, when 100% were kissing his bum at the start of the season! ? Stability is what is needed, for a push next year. And we should have won the game despite being down a man, based on clear cut chances.

Agree2 Disagree0

13 Jan 2018 17:38:04
What a brainless so and so O'Kane must be! We are injury depleted already, minus one player for six weeks due to indiscipline and he does that! I think we are cursed! I am dreading the rest of the season unless we recruit a proven goal keeper, centre back, centre forward and holding midfielder. I am usually a glass half full person but I'm finding it hard to be positive. We can't score and we concede too many. Desperate! Here's hoping the mess can be sorted and soon.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

13 Jan 2018 17:29:21
As I thought last week's dire result would have consequences. When are the owners going to reward the long suffering fans with quality signings and show some ambition. We are overloaded with ordinary players. Dross out, quality in!

Each week the ever growing contingent of us on this site who post our "NEGATIVE" comments are accused of not being proper Leeds fans. Get with the program we are told, we are building for the future. Iam commenting on the team (not state of the Club) , I can buy the building for the future sentiment, what I don't buy is the thought that players like Grot, Cibicki, Klich and Lasogga are good enough for a place in the team and that some how keep persisting with them will Magically improve them. I have to also take issue with a previous poster who states that teams like Bristol and Derby are not better than us. Please wake up, They are! We are poor, sadly! Fulham, Villa and Preston are all on form better than us.

Agree1 Disagree1

13 Jan 2018 19:36:24
Mikewoody nice one, I will start with the old Leeds one and add a bit.

Agree1 Disagree0

13 Jan 2018 20:58:16
I've never accused any of you of not being a Leeds fan, nor will I. All I have suggested is that a bit of patience is required. Radz has delivered on his promises, but some want us to splash out for immediate promotion? Just not realistic. We are back on level ground for the first time in over a decade, but because we have a new owner, promotion is required immediately?

Agree1 Disagree0

13 Jan 2018 22:41:45
Bright white, never asked for promotion, happy to win or loss as that the name of the game, but take a team and rebuild it with players that are not up it was never what Raz or the Manager for that matter promised, TC got the job on a PowerPoint presentation that dose not make him a manager, or give him the knowledge to push us forward,

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Jan 2018 17:23:45
Most predictable score line of the day would have happened with 11 men never mind 10, TC as to take some blame where so negative and predictable both home and away we've once again got poor players lumbered on long contracts Orta should be sacked, Radrizzani as a big decision to make in the summer sit down with TC and spend big or new man and spend big without Orta's interference, we need a big new spine and its going to cost money so is a striker and a keeper. Radrizzani as been good and it's a learning curve for him but he'll after learn fast cheap Europeans aren't the answer in this league any signing is a gamble but leaving it to Orta is the biggest gamble and risk of all.

Believable4 Unbelievable3

13 Jan 2018 17:43:14
Many have said that this is a five year plan, this season lost with this team Rad should stop spending now, take a long hard look open his close eyes then sack Orta, Put TC in charge of the under 21 as a manager for the future, them to bring in someone who has the knowledge, send all loan players back and keep the money that would have been paid, start again next season, I know what some will say that we are one point of the play offs even if we get in the top six can’t see us winning. with this team.

Agree2 Disagree3

13 Jan 2018 17:45:39
As a longtime Leeds fan, the writing is on the wall. I said last week that the manager is not what is needed and the team has the wrong players. The Championship is a tough, physical league for experienced Premiership and Championship stalwarts set for a gruelling season with obviously more than 7 matches. when Leeds were top of the league! Unfortunately the owner is out of his depth as is the manager. You buy second-rate that's what you get! Game's up chaps. mid table is the best we can do. I take no pleasure in saying I've a start of the season bet on this with hard earned wages once I researched Christiansens' background.

I see Aaron Lennon will be off contract at Everton soon. Might be worth consideration? Also McCormack is banging them in at Melbourne and is looking quality, I know he ditched us in the past, but a number 9 is just what we need. That doesn't necessarily translate over to championship level, but that is what people said about Mooy when he first went to Huddersfield, and look how that turned out. From an Australian perspective, two blokes who I reckon could do a job for Leeds would be Tomi Juric (no. 9) and Josh Brillante CDM who wins every tackle and has anticipation. Just thoughts.

Believable1 Unbelievable2

13 Jan 2018 07:43:00
Good insights Syd - CDM sounds just what we need

Agree1 Disagree0

13 Jan 2018 08:23:40
McCormack is rubbish in my opinion, he’s overweight, can’t hold the ball up, all his goals from free kicks or from 2 yards, Brillante is a really good player though, breaks up play and always seems to do the right things, there are a few gems in the a league, isaias (Adelaide United) joey champness ( Newcastle jets) ninkovic, mierzeyejewski (both sydney ) just to name a few, think would do well in the championship.
