I cannot understand all this clamouring for Silvestre to be recalled in goal? Have you all got short term memory loss? He was the worst keeper in the league last season and he probably hasn't improved. I agree that Green has not had the best of times recently, so what does that make of the other two keepers we have? They must be rubbish if neither can come forward and replace either of these two pretenders.
I say at all costs do not ever bring back the so called cat, he is possibly the worst of them.

I finally like the look of our starting line up. I'm another one who comes here Avery morning to have a look at comments and see how us fans are rating things, and I can actually say that this line up (currently) is the best we have, and should get 3 points. Why monk has taken so long to realise this is anyone's guess. I just hope it works out and he doesn't feel he has to revert back to his nonsensical, out of position, mumbo jumbo team formation and selections as the last couple of weeks.

will be there tonight, we have a poor record against them recently, mind you that could apply to most teams these days, if GM loses or doesn't win then he is gone, so I hope we win as we need to get some confidence going.
With O'Kane, Bridcut, Beradi (next week) , Jansson in our team then in around a weeks time that will be better than we have had available in key areas all season, they are good players at this level for sure, add an on song Taylor and Monk should be able to build on that?! Hopefully anyway, just hope it is not s*** again tonight.

Pretty much the team I would go for Alf but with Ant up top and Roofe on the left rather than Dallas.
That said, and I would never suggest this against a team at the top end of the table but this is save your job and any chance of a decent season time, would it be completely mental to do an Conte style Italian job and go for a 3-5-2? We haven't scored enough with a lone front man in a 4-2-3-1 and we get overrun in the middle playing 4-4-2. Leaves us thin at the back but against a team conceeding a lot and not scoring many we could maybe overwhelm them. Time to roll the dice perhaps.

As a disgruntled life long fan its hard to give up your season ticket but that's what I did last season after spending thousands travelling from Ireland for every home game and more. Gary Monk seems clueless and just adds to our demise. Get Steve Bruce in now and even though he's ex man utd he knows what he's doing and knows how to get out of this division. I will take some abuse but it would be worth it if he could get us back to where we belong!

From despondency on Saturday night I return to half glass full mode. We looked really solid at the back on Saturday and that's a great base to play from. the only scored from a 25 yarder. It happens. Its a fairly new team and Monk is still finding out about the players. However I think he needs 6 points from next 3 games minimum. I believe he needs to change the keeper and look at a new striking combination. Green is no better than Silvestre and he at least gives us some height and is a better shot stopper. Wood doesn't cut it for me, and makes our play slow ponderous and predictable (think long ball) . I would play Antonnsen with Hernanadez just behind in a free role, 4-5-1. with Sacko and either Dallas or Roofe for width and pace. PACE we need desperately! Midfield three of Bridcutt, Okane and Viera. Maybe put one of our young strikers on the bench with pace and ambition! Keep the faith MOT.

It's all really confusing
We have had a really bad run with managers. I mean 2-3 of them have had pedigree to a degree but seem to fall apart when they come to Leeds!
Koeman and mourino both made changes at half time that worked. Utd still lost but were heaps better 2nd half. I know these are top managers but how hard is it to
Identify a problem and change it? Not that hard is it.
And as with Morrison why do managers stick with non strikers with minimal ability like wood, because they have a semi decent work rate. At the end of the day it is going to be the fact wood is crap that will prob get monk the sack!
And why I'm making sense. Why play players out of position. This is another trend Leeds managers have. They buy players for certain positions and then don't play them and put someone else in that position. Are we to think that all these players bought for a role and position then turn out to be no good for it. Or is it that monk has certain favourites that he would rather play out of position. Not good is it. Not really acceptable. Let's hope he turns it round and wins tonight but I guarantee you it will be more luck than judgement. He will play wood and shock horror he may even score. ( lol ) but the cracks are there and need more than a lucky win.

Aus, maybe Monk picks the team from what he sees in training. I'd like to see Roofe given a go up front but maybe he has a go up front in training and can't do it against our own championship defenders.
Same with Mowatt, he might play like Messi in training, so Monk thinks he's got to fit him in somewhere.
(Or Cellino has told Monk to play him because he's still not signed a new contract and his value will fall if he doesn't play) .
However, I do agree that most of Cellinos coaches seem to carry on doing the wrong thing, when it seems obvious to everyone else that it's not working.
