Use our rumours form to send us leeds transfer rumours.

14 Feb 2019 21:06:44
Often we talk about enforced breaks for meaningless internationals whether we are in or out of form. However, I believe this next break and the confirmed total break that Bub has granted the players (until Sunday) will be priceless in terms of our run in, good win against our welsh trialists but the rest and strength back in the legs is invaluable going forwards.

Bielsa going on a break as well. Heโ€™s packed his rucksack, secateurs, binoculars and bucket. Heโ€™s doing some walking, the EFL has an unofficial route โ€œ training grounds of Englandโ€!

Somewhat conveniently, Gayle's got a 2 match ban, which means he'll be back in time to play against us, all nice and refreshed ๐Ÿ˜Š.

Pontus and Kal will pocket him, fresh or not. You, of all, know this AL!

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Feb 2019 01:37:56
Yeah, I'm hoping Pontus puts him in the stand the cheating (insert expletive) it's just unfair that the Baggies get a point, IMHO the florists should be awarded a 2-1 win.

His dive still no match for the one perpetrated against us 27 years and 1 month ago.

Who was that player that dived about 4 years ago and was still rolling when the crowd had left? That was funny.

Reading between the lines I think that the top brass at Leeds are rolling their sleeves up ready to fight the FL if they try to come down hard on us. Kinnear has said that we haven't even been charged with anything because we haven't broken any rules, the extra questions the FL want answers to are nothing to do with Leeds. The board have taken the responsibility from Bub to allow him to concentrate on team matters. All I can say is, BRING ON THE CHAMPIONS ๐Ÿ˜Ž.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

14 Feb 2019 16:20:03
Probably about time, the club's hierarchy have been a tad passive on the matter and have allowed Bielsa to feel the brunt of the pressure. Now that the EFL are stringing this out, it is the responsibility of the club to press for an end to this nonsense.

Agree8 Disagree0

14 Feb 2019 17:35:08
Notts white agree should have come out earlier,

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Feb 2019 20:59:03
Not sure what else you expect the board to do at the moment . Until the FL and or FA announce their intentions, there is nothing to respond to. The board has the opportunity to keep it professional, keep the focus on the football and wait until there is a need to respond or fight.

Iโ€™m of the view that the biggest threat the bodies have is the threat of action, not any real action itself. Therefore they are still basking in their moment and stringing it out. The best response is to ignore it and get on with the important stuff, not rise to the bait until there is actually anything that we need to respond to.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Feb 2019 21:34:50
The club are being investigated and as they have acted in good faith to support the investigation, they have every right to know what they are suspected of doing that is wrong.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Feb 2019 08:43:57
So far, the FA and EFL havenโ€™t said that we have done anything wrong only that the matter deserves further investigation . Once they make their decision and decide whether or not to accuse us of anything thatโ€™s when the board needs to act.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Feb 2019 09:34:26
I think they should never have spoken for Bielsa and apologised. As he says. He broke no rules. Why apologise.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Feb 2019 10:03:36
By definition the act of an investigation is to obtain details regarding a particular matter. The club has a right to know what the matter is and the likelihood as to when the investigation may be concluded.

Agree1 Disagree0

15 Feb 2019 12:14:33
Correct Notts, and any disciplinary investigation should be concluded within a reasonable time frame, that time frame was around 2 weeks when I was a shop steward so I can't see why this is dragging on for so long.

14 Feb 2019 15:21:43
Beradi, Dallas, Douglas, Foreshaw, Clarke and Brown (who has not played yet) all to come back into the squad. Shackleton really pressing hard for game time. BPF needed as sub goalie. Looks like one or two might not even make match day squad when (and if ) we ever get a fully fit squad. Klich and Alioski might be on bench with Douglas and Brown in and Clarke or Shacks to drop out of match day squad altogether.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Would pick allioski over Douglas on current form.

A question for Spanish our U23 expert, Where is the U23 game on Monday against Bolton being played?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

14 Feb 2019 12:11:21
Itโ€™s down for Elland Road, but at least one of the Elland Road games was changed to Thorpe Arch at the last minute. Keep an eye for on the news part of the website. I think there is a requirement to play a number of games at Elland Road and so far only one has been played there.

3 under 23 games before the first team next kick a ball in the league.

Tomorrow 7pm at Guisley, premier Cup, Notts County

Monday 1pm Elland Road, Bolton

Week on Friday away to Forest, 7pm

Looks like Dallas and Beradi will feature. Imagine Izzy will at least get more 45mins. Might even be a way of easing JC back into football tests permitting, oh yes I forgot Douglas as well.

14 Feb 2019 10:44:38
Just wondering people.
If Beradi/ Dallas are available for our next game.
Would you swap either for Ayling? If so which one?
I thought Dallas was playing really well at right back before he was injured.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

14 Feb 2019 11:31:34
I wouldnโ€™t and more importantly after his pre match comments about Ayling, I donโ€™t think Bielsa will either. Both of them need to build back up again. Ayling actually had a better game last night and his pass to Alioski open d up the pitch and created the second goal . In the end that move secured us the three points.

Some of the criticisms of Ayling ignores one of the key strengths of this team itโ€™s solidarity and team spirit, see Pontusโ€™s comments about Ayling.

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Feb 2019 11:52:49
Ayling's going to be back to his very best over the next few games.

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Feb 2019 12:31:21
Apart from the pen, and a misplaced pass, Luke was good last night. I think MB has pepped him up a bit, and like AL says, will be back to his best very soon! So no. No swaps.

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Feb 2019 15:43:57
He had a reasonable enough game last night, good to actually hear encouragement from the crowd instead of the usual boo-boys being their moronic selves. And, loved the "you're too soft to play for Leeds" chant after Pontus have James a few whacks ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜.

See that the ref got his double EFL bonus tonight.

Gave them a penalty (though it was deserved) and didn't give ours on Bamford.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

You're right Tewit.
That was a definite penalty, but there was so little made of it I thought I must have dreamt it! ๐Ÿ˜•.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Feb 2019 11:20:52
It was a certain penalty from Ayling but looking closely at the replay, he looked like he slipped or something.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Feb 2019 09:41:12
So the FA have charged Gayle with "successful deception of a match official" (that's diving for a penalty for the unenlightened) hopefully he'll be banned for their game against us. However, that doesn't help the florists who were robbed of 2 points, wonder if anyone will write a letter demanding that Forest are awarded a 3 - 0 win?

With all of us praising the effort and skill of KP makes me wonder on the careers of some of the other talents, in all divisions where, in their younger days, players were shown the door by (well respected) managers, who then went on to star in other managers teams. Leeds are even guilty of that. I wonder, for instance, what we would be saying of Ronnie had we kept him. It must be one of the inate skills of management to spot a young diamond in the rough and stick with him through thick and thin, knowing one day he will blossom and that twinkle you saw early doors will mesmerise teams throughout the land. Of course the kicker to that is that the bosses and the bosses, bosses want success yesterday, so no time now to polish that diamond. Just go and buy a polished diamond, your job could depend on it. Maybe that's one of the reasons why MB is so respected he can spot talent and he can nurture it. All hail Marcelo.

David Seaman another great example from our past. He was released by us and went on to have an ok career.

14 Feb 2019 15:49:47
Seaman went on to have a half-decent career I guess, used to love it when he played against us, at the time the kop used to applaud the visiting keepers and then hurl abuse when they acknowledged it. Seaman always laughed at it then stood flicking the Vs behind his back.

Now I did what ausman did and probably most faithful Leeds fans down under and kept an update on the score as much as possible. Not easy when it's work time but when they got the pen I was nervous but deep down o felt it was our win. Great team effort with more to come. They all play a part and let's support then fully. A win is a win as they say. Now a break of 10 days for my bowels. MOT.

Just think boys n girls, if it had all gone wrong last night, we could be level on points with the Blades, five points adrift of the Canaries, but instead we wake up top of the pile. I might just dare to dream.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

14 Feb 2019 13:17:25
Its so tight up there at the moment - if we lose a few and other results go against us we could even drop out of the playoffs. let's hope last night was the start of a winning run so we can capitalise on any slip ups from our rivals.

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Feb 2019 23:33:46
So by George reckoning the following 3 things should occur by early Summer. 1. We enjoy being linked with much better players in the transfer window ready for our campaign in the PL. 2. Berm's bottom will be branded with the image of a silky defensive midfielder, and 3. Bige should have dysentery. Sounds about right.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

14 Feb 2019 02:18:18

14 Feb 2019 08:44:30
Agreed the attacker made the most but a seasoned professional should have the nous to say - He's going away from goal. I have him covered. Why give him the chance, Especially inside the box. Two more steps and it would have been a free kick, at worse.

That'll teach you to mock my Deda prediction and assessment. They're a very dangerous team offensively. MOT ASAW.
