Well Byram seems to be leaving, really big shame to see him go, used to be my favourite current player and still is up there (Well was. ) 3.7 mil is a decent fee for a player who is out of contract in the summer. But still the rumour saying that West Ham would pay some money and 2 players in the deal. If these players are decent and we get maybe a mil I would go with the West Ham bid. ( I would prefer him to go to the Toffies if anywhere but we have to go with the best deal. ) But whatever happens I let's hope this money or the 2 players and a bit of cash can improve the squad with a good experienced championship goalscorer and a experienced championship centre half ( Maybe Premiership, probably pushing it? ) And hopefully (I will be watching on Tv) we can beat the Wendies in their Cup Final on Saturday. MOT!

Is it just me or is LUTV getting worse? Away with work so spent £9 on hyper fast broadband for Tuesday's action. What did I end up with? - no coverage of Doukara's goal (an event so rare that it needs to be savoured) and the last 15mins of the first half was reduced to a hiss with what sounded like Jeff Stelling whispering through - creepy or what.
So £9 down, 3points thrown away and Stelling haunting my lugholes - the stuff of nightmares.
£52 refund please Mr Cellino.

Byram gone it seems. Beradi back in February. Wood almost there. New winger and Bridcutt already in. January notoriously bad time for Championship club buying players. In an ideal world, bearing in mind our league position I would think extending our young players contracts would be first priority as far as we could. Doing the best we can this season with what we have and then spending on quality players in the Summer when there will be a better choice. Always remembering owners don't always do what is best.

Good luck to Sam. £3.7m not bad business I suppose. I just hope he gets to play in the Prem and doesn't get shipped out on loan to a Championship club and plays against us. That'd be a bitter pill to swallow!
I also hope the cash is used to buy Stevie Evans his own Kappa training top, custom made from an old Billy Smart's Circus tent.

Paul Bell new executive director don't really know much about him. He set the club on it's best commercial footing for 9 years so that is a good sign. One thing that worries me he worked in the boardroom with Bates so that worries me a little. (Anyone who works with that git in the boardroom I just think our dodgy Shaun Harvey for example. ) But hopefully he isn't and he will be like Adam Pearson and make us a lot more stable behind the scenes going forward MOT!

He still lives in Harrogate and not moved to Sheffield so you never know, he might come back at some stage.

Cellino needs to back Steve full stop. He has proven with players that he has not signed that he can get results. With the players that he has signed so far they have exceeded expectations. Its not rocket science, stick with the manager, give him money to spend on better quality players and let him show us where he can take us. He seems to have an eye for a player so back him.

Totally agree Liverlass, common sense approach is needed also have to make the most of any transfer window, even one more quality signing in this window will be a terrific start towards next season! I think it simply has to be a no nonsense commanding CB A huth at leicester type of player, thought Bamba was going to be it but this season he is being found out, too many errors same for Belusci and cooper is too slow and needs to toughen up and improve his positional play.
But where will we find someone of that quality in this window? I seriously doubt it will happen. Massimo Over to you!

Agree Liverlass. Another rare post from you but always makes sense when you do post. Steve would never have been my choice in a million years but he's shown enough for me to say MC should back him now and in the summer transfer window and let's see what he can do by this time next year.
