Who should be captin next season,
I don't think peltier is a good captin
i'd like to see possibly green or maybe

Warnock is captain material for me

I like a captain to be either a centre mid or a center half. So I think the new captain is yet to come. But out of the lads we allready have for me it would have to go to left back steven warnock . But I think it will be matt mills personaly. MOT.

Has to b rudy austin for me, but only if leeds tell him to quit shooting from miles out and do what he's best at and that winning the ball and passing forward. if he can do that then make him captain as everyone will listen to him that's for sure, no one is going to listen to little tom lees and warnock is no good a captain as lb, captain needs to b in the middle so can shout orders

Austin is too stupid football-wise to be captain. you can't have a headless chicken as skipper. McD will be signing his own.

Out of current players captain should be. God I don't know. we have no real leaders. Knew it was bad when Peltier was made skipper. Suppose Warnock would be current choice although I quite like Green because he really leads by example. MOT

We can't even afford some s*** lad called Rowe from posh so we oviously can effort Stevens. god knows when we'll make the premier league. and ed before you start the give McDermott a chance I will but I won't give gfh a chance I sick to death of them all ready a big club like us can't even get an owner that has money just reading that we can effort a guy from posh makes me mad. i'm 15 years old and been a leeds fan since I was 7 my friends in school slag me off because they support premier league teams that are doing well and I wish I could shut them up for once by leeds getting up and doing I've never seen them up with the big boys before and it dosent look like its going to happen any time soon.

I sympathise with you young man but you have to keep the faith. get behind the team and make elland road a fortress. I know this sounds as bad as a player signing and saying - it was a no brainer - their a sleeping giant-this is a massive club - but as a fan what else can you do.

Mate I feel your pain I really do i'm 24 now iv supported Leeds my whole life since I could say the name Leeds were always at the top with the big boys when I was an early teen and one day gone in a blink of an eye down to leauge 1 I hope and pray we get bk up but I always say don't go up till u know u have a team that will have a chance of staying up I am a very frustrated Leeds fan but being a Leeds fan is frustrating but I am Leeds we are Leeds I always have faith in Leeds and I wouldn't have it any other way

Tommy Rowe is the latest name to be linked to Leeds United, and if you are to believe Barry Fry (which I happen not to) Leeds are lacking money! To be honest I wouldn't mind having Rowe at Leeds, I think we have just offered what we think he is worth, and are not going to be bullied by Peterborough, which has made Fry a little bitter, hence the comments.
Rowe hasn't asked to leave for money as the quote 'He's made it clear to us that we could offer him £20,000p/w and he still wouldn't sign a new deal' suggests. It looks like he doesn't want to be trapped at a dead-end club in league 1.

Exactly my thoughts. We can afford him, but we won't be held to ransom, and rightly so. There are better players out there also. MOT SussexLeeds

Fry also said Rowe is keen on a move to Leeds, its just the transfer fee that needs agreeing.
Surely he isn't worth more than £600,000 - he's good, but he's in the last year of his contract. let's hope BMcD can do a good deal!

I'm just happy that we seem to be looking at players of a younger age for a change, younger hungrier players that will show more heart then some of the older players we have been dumped with

His real valuation, given the player, contract remaining, transfer status & league is only £400k, yet Posh are asking for £800k trasfer fee.

Leeds can afford him we are just not prepared to pay inflated prices.

What about Andrew Driver from Hearts! All the squad apparently for sale, don't know too much about the lad but he did have a big reputation a few years ago is he worth a cheaky punt? I completely trust Big Mac but would like to have seen a few more in or agreed by now!

OK guys quick poll. Who would you rather have? Clicking 'believable' means you want Anthony Stokes, clicking 'unbelievable' means you want Kevin Doyle!

Doyle all day long. Much better player and just needs a fresh start I believe. Although Stokes not a bad goalscorer but not as good an alrounder. Two of them maybe!

Drenthe could be an exceptional talent in the Championship. Bit in and out at Everton, but on his day - Very similar to Gradel but with a more physical presence. {Ed001's Note - he has off field issues, he would be out partying the night before games etc.}

As a Leeds fan loving in stoke, the word here is that Jack butland may be coming to Leeds on a season long loan, apparently it's a deal which hinges on stoke keeper begovic being sold. Could be a decent addition for 12 months. I personally would like to see Ashdown given a chance.

Matt left of his own accord aged 16, because he wanted to stay on at school to complete his A levels.

Heard a rumour from mates in Norwich that Becchio is coming back to us for a short spell at the start of the season. Norwich want him to rediscover his goal scoring touch and want to send him on a three month loan to us so he can get some confidence back. Brighton, Notts Forest and Leicester among other clubs who would want him if we don't want to take up the offer. Personally I wouldn't want us helping another club with one of there players but if we haven't got a decent striker in soon then he maybe an option

Dont want becchio back, he put in the request to go so let him rot on the norwich bench. To slow s*** 1st touch We have to stop looking at old players and move on That also goes for beckford.

Why are some fans so bitter? Becchio done well for us and so what if he decided to leave and play in the premieship and more than double his money at same time. Good luck to him and I hope he turns it round at Norwich and if not I would welcome him back if BMD thought it was the right thing for LEEDS. MOT

I would want to leave with Warnock in bloody charge.

I think Becchio will score a good 7 or 8 headers for Norwich, this season. maybe even one or two with some other body part

I know Brian is the best manager we have had for a very long time. You only have to listen to the man talk ( and his scouting record ) and he fills me with confidence. The Smith signing young raw at Leeds to prove a point, that's watt we need players that can improve. Only time will tell if we sign and Hunt but it looks nailed on. If it happens I will back the lad and Brian's judgment, But the main reason I was so happy when he got the job I felt it was the end of the 30 year old signings, The end off the managers pet players coming to our club. Building for the future young unknown players coming to Leeds fighting to improve. I hope I'm proved wrong and Noel is fantastic for us if it happens. Not the kind off player I expected that's all
