What do you guys think Anelka released by WBA surley worth a punt I know he is getting on and is le sulk but would definatly get goals at this level and surley if the takeover goes through we could afford his wages as there would be no transfer fee.

Why on earth would you want him? We have clearly enough problems at Leeds without any more. The seasons done, we just need to avoid relegation and stop wasting any more money on crap eg Kebe, Stewart, Diouf, zalukas, hunt, Norris, tongue and I'm sure there are more.

Good shout well worth a punt!

Have which ever striker you like - without a midfield to supply them it won't matter who it is up front!

I think the match was lost before K O on tues, our pre match warm up looked disorganised compered to Readings, they where going through a regimented warm up, while we looked like individuals having a kick about at your local park.

I posted yesterday about having no real leaders and in the team and have discussed it with some mates today. Brown, not in the team. McCormack to a certain degree. Pearce who I didn't rate so much last season has been leading by example and been my player of the year along with Ross. And that's it! No team will ever be successful without real leaders and that is our real problem. Think back to 60s and 70s. Nearly every player you could rely on when chips were down to battle back and show some grit. Same goes for Wilkos team although not quite as many as Revies team. Basically i'm saying we need to get in more experience in the summer like when Wilko brought in Strachan, Chapman, Sterland, Jones, Shutt and even Varadi and if the kids are good enough play them too, although i'm not sure any of them, apart from Byram, are ready. The like of Dawson, Walters, and even Mowatt aren't ready for a whole season of 50 plus games just yet no matter how many people clamour for their includance. Believe me if they were good enough now BMD would be playing them most games now because he's not stupid like some folk think! So when Cellino gets the nod I believe we will bring the necessary players in to get us back in 1-2 years. Keep the faith, stop whinging, and give BMD another chance cause we can and will do it in that time frame of that I am sure. Just look at Pearson at Leicester whos board stuck by him after all the cash he spent. Anyway i'm starting to ramble on and the wine has rightly kicked in. We are LEEDS and nobody else can understand what that means apart from us. MOT lad and lasses.

I think I would have been prepared to give Brian another chance but he has made so many mistakes with tactics and team selection. We have been beaten very convincingly by some very poor opposition. It just hasn't happened once or twice but a few times now. Brians a good guy but you can't win games with just talk.

Poor opposition? What Reading and Bolton. 2 sides not long down and with suppior squads than us. Stop living in cuckoo land that we've got a good squad. We are top 10 side at best .

Although I agree with you to some degree have you forgot about the wendies & Huddersfield we should not be losing to teams like this, BMcd has shown stubbornness & been tactically unaware in far too many games this season this is largely BMcd team now & while I appreciate he has had to work under certain financial restraints some of his signings have been appalling he has always said he would only bring players in that would improve the group & to be Frank 80% of his signings have been next to useless . I would love to see BMcd succeed at Leeds but I can't see cellinio having the same patience as a lot of the fans, will not last till May in my opinion

Saw in the local press that LUFC to play at Glenavon's Mourneview Park in July. Agreed this as part of the deal for the young lad.

Should be a nice trip for travelling fans! Big crowd descended on the Oval in Belfast a few years ago, great day out!

I watched BMD's press conference yesterday and I was chuckling to myself when he was asked about Jimmy Kebe's availablity for the weekend, apparantly he has got a injury. I wonder if this was caused by being top of the Prozone stats!

Sick of this situation of poor performance, no commitment and passion. Just one question, what if we the fans had the same attitude and didn't turn up week after week as most of our players seem to do?

who ever is manager will need to be getting the signings in very fast so most of them are there for 1st pre-season training . I feel we tend to play easy teams in pre season which is ok for the 1st few for fitness but we need to be playing better teams towards the start of the season. maybe go to a colder country for pre-season tour .i think we tend to struggle in the colder months for some reason
