I've just listened to any Hughes interview on radio leeds. the mans a true legend for me.not the greatest player but a heart as big as ellandf road. A true fan.I only wish Neil would take him on in the back room.imagine some of the team talks at half time.they'd come out like lions for a second half. thnx and for all u did and I hope you go from strength to strength

Oh SLUFC, apologies. I've seen reference to the Andy Hughes interview, but not yet listened to it. To be perfectly honest I don't really remember that much about him, but he obviously has LUFC in his blood

SLUFC, you are not wrong. However, Redders is also playing a political game at this infant stage of his managerial career. He can't yet afford for anyone to be around the backroom more popular than him until he truly cements his name. Hughes would be a fantastic motivator. Priority number one right now is reduce the wage bill quickly followed by grab a quick winger.
