Ok, I’m sorry for the negative posts guys but again I’m baffled by Orta! Wolves top of the league by 10 points are in the market for Grabbon who has scored 12 goals for bottom club Sunderland, they are also looking a Spanish striker at £12M! Derby 2nd are in for Norwich City’s Nelson Olivera at £8M! Cardiff 3rd and Aston Villa 4th Bristol City 5th and Sheffield United 6th are all buying or actively looking at players, apart from Wolves going Spanish all the other transfer links to all the teams in the top six are proven Championship players, what the bloody hell is Orta doing? Every player we are linked with is either been bought for another day or a complete unknown with no idea! We need a goal scorer and Grabbonfits the bill! Nelson Olivera would be good but as usual we won’t pay! All teams above us are strengthening and some teams directly below are doing the same! At this rate we will get left behind and before you know it we will be mid table with no chance of finishing in the top six!

Sunderland have parachute payment as do villa so their not short and looking and buying are different things. We have paid around 3 million for a LB and have nearly 3 weeks to go what's the problem

Wolves superior business model and in better position to "gamble" with tried and tested English championship players. We were always going to go foreign. We have Orta and a foreign owner who bought the club from another foreigner and he bought it from a tight fisted cheapskate. I'm hoping though they've learned their lesson. Still 2 weeks left of this transfer window. Does make you ponder where we'd be had we secured English based talent instead of some of these Mediterranean softies. We'd probably be no lower than 2nd. Next season will be tougher because it looks like clubs who been in the PL for a fair few seasons could be relegated. They'll have money to burn. Could be now or never.

Sunderland don't have any money wex, it's all been pulled out by the owners, they took 30 mil for Pickford and gave Larry less than 2 mil to bring players in, Coleman has said himself the best he can hope for is to bring in a loan player, maybe 2

I swear to god Whiteman my mate, Wex misses the point every time! I never said anything about Sunderland spending or having money to spend! I’m on about the bloody top six and a few more below us Wex! Open you’re eyes and look at what is happening now, look at how we are playing and if out of around 25 signings you can only pick Pontus, Siaz and whoever then what about the others! Wex, it’s hard to accept but come on mate, how much proof do you need, nearly all of us on here are singing the same song, if you think things are good then good luck luck with that one!

I give up Whiteman mate, even George who makes a great point gets it wrong according to Wex, we are all wrong mate, you, me, Alf, George, Mezzer, Leeeeeds, Aus, Bige, Leodis, Martyn, and many many more! It must be us mate, maybe we expect to much for our £100 in costs for every match. I would like to add Wex that Derby, Cardiff, Bristol City, Sheffield Utd, Preston, Ipswich, and Wolves have had no parachute payments, some of those have never had payments, it’s like Whiteman said “Ambition” you need to take the blinkers off!

I just keep thinking how many millions and millions has orta wasted. All the rubbish bought and their wages. All the u23 squad on long term contracts even if they turn out league 3 standard. and most importantly. He has probably cost is the chance of promotion from the easiest championship for years and years.

Thanks MW67. Whitewoman, it's got nowt to do with ambition. The ambition is there. The word is method. It's all about method. The balance is wrong right now. Personally, I'd fire Orta at the end of the season. TC has done a fairly good job with what he's been given so keep him on.

Mikewoody my friend perhaps they don’t go week in week out, or they just don’t get it, it’s not about spending millions on one player about getting the right ones we spent money in buying 20 odd players who can’t or won’t get it together, you have to be blind not to see that and all us Leeds fans would like nothing more then to see or great team do well in league or perhaps in the future in the PL. Mike mate they just give me a headache ******

Most of us assume that owners and coaches know what's best for their team. I don't think so. If we'd have put a strong side out against Newport, the players and fans would have been in a great mood looking forward to a full house at Elland Road against Tottenham. This positivity would have been taken into the game against Ipswich and we'd have probably won, and we'd all be feeling totally different than we do now! 😠

LUFC have decided against appealing O'Kane's dismissal. Probably for the best since on the footage he quite clearly nuts the guy. Ok, he went down like a sack of 5hit but don't they all. Would have lost the appeal for sure.

Our plan is to get to the premier league! At this stage I just don't see that plan shaping up . Don't get me wrong, really like Rads and thank him for what he has done . Think TC was a left field candidate who underestimated the league and is a goodish coach. It is the squad and the player recruitment that is really poor . Some of the players we have are not up to it. The likes of Gomes in the squad and never plays a game, how bad must he be ? Think we could have picked up free transfers from lower leagues who would have given us more than some of the current crop on the wage bill . Sitting here I really am struggling to fathom it out. We must have six or seven players who are, sad to say it, very poor. We don't see any good performances, where we look like we could put a few goals past a team. Half way through this window and I don't see a squad bedding in who could get promotion and stay up . We are light years from having that strength of squad and this cannot be done in one window. Orta has brought in one good player. Sorry fellow sufferers but we should not be this bad. 50 years a Fan

Just looking at the U23s tables; A and B. If we have chosen wisely and have put so much faith in "ones for the future", how come we are 9th out of 11 in group A and if merged with group B, 18th out of 21. Surely we should be far nearer the top if this team have not been messed about a players regularily plucked to play in the first team? Are we perhaps getting overly optimistic on these players chances of leading our charge to the premiership if they can't even win the U23 league?

Well this maybe controversial but as all leeds fans our impressive start to the season shocked me as of many others. The sale of Chris wood came as a surprise but not a shock and at that point of the season we did look like we could sustain our style of play however do you say we have been found out ? or is that we at this stage don't have a team robust enough at present to get us out of this league. So i am as a fan as desperate to get out of this league however the last thing i want is to go up and struggle, therefore if TC orta and radz are to be believed then let's be patient and trust that they are building for the future and if that takes another season then they have my backing.

Going up and struggling better than championship wilderness because of hefty parachute payments. Fact of the matter is we aren't going to win the PL anytime soon. To win it now takes a transfer fee investment of around half a billion pounds thanks to the big guns like Citeh, Pride of Devon etc. Then there's wages. It is possible to get lucky with a fantastic youth team whom develop into world class players but it's a long shot. Parachute payments better than losing to Newport on the television 3rd round.

I'm rapidly losing faith in Orta. Seems to be more interested in buying players for Cultural than for Leeds and I suspect there are dodgy dealings going on behind the scenes. May be proved wrong in time though. I think half the people on this site could do a better job at spotting talent and they (I assume) don't get paid to watch footie and spot players.

Why is it we never buy the players to push on! I know the window is still open but my gut is telling we will get some bargain basement speculative signing and once again faulter near the finish line. You can't race against Ferrari with a golf and expect to win a race over 46 laps no matter how good the driver is. Our owners need to invest at this point of the season in two or three Ferraris, it ain't rocket science, Come on Orta and Radz pull your fingers out! Frustrated Leeds fan. MOT

Just watched Moise Kean on video, thought I was watching a young Tino Asprilla. This lad Kean has tricks and flicks in abundance. He seems to pack tons of pace and good upper body strength, especially for his age. The one thing I did not see much of was goals, maybe that will come. He certainly looks like he would leave a few Championship defenders on the seat of their pants. Depending on the cost (val 5/6 mil) I would certainly give him a go and trickle him into the first team, sooner rather than later. The lad is 17 so will make mistakes but he looks to have the potential to win a game in a second. He seems to be on loan to Verona but I would not wait. Buy him now and if necessary leave him to see out his loan.

Green, Taylor, Bartley, Bridcutt, Doukara and Wood . If we had kept these players and added Saiz, Alioski another striker and a winger, we would be in a far better position in what is a wide open race for automatic . Think we are going backwards on squad strength . Orta has brought in nearly 20 players only one has really made a difference, Saiz, if they are old enough to play in the reserves they are old enough to be in first team squad . Its not as if the reserves are setting the world on fire. Think it should be about time for a change of plan and Mr Orta needs to think of a new game (show) as his 20 to 1 is not working, maybe Shoot for the Stars would be better

Obviously radz is happy with ortas 10% success rate. So far he has cost us millions and promotion and radz is still happy? Signed up 74 youth players on 20 yr contract and 73 of them will be crap. What the f is a matter with radz? Do your job mate. Orta is a Get rid now.
