I am sure that nice Mr Harvey will ensure common sense prevails, and rather than writing to every championship club for their views in the matter he will almost certainly be asking to swear on oath they have never done it themselves.

Yes the epitome of fairness and integrity is that nice Mr Harvey. Just of to get a crow bar to release my tongue from the side of my cheek!

Doctor called to see the wife. I said she's in bed doc. He walked in the bedroom and said that's a serious depression I said how can you diagnose that without examining her doc. Doctor said I'm talking about your mattress.

Because the club want to wait till premiership membership is confirmed

Same with Roofe.

The club's being sensible in my eyes, Clarke and Roofe are both contracted till the end of NEXT season, so no real rush eh?

As long time fans we just cannot quite believe where we are. We look at future fixtures pick one and say " ah yes but this will be the real test". We seem to have done it a few times now and, West Brom apart, have come thro all of them still sitting on top.
I suppose our disbelief stems from our inherent lack of deep down confidence. We just cannot quite believe it.
All the signs are there that this is THE season but we have been disappointed so many times before that, to soften the blow, (should it come) we remind ourselves that the lot of a Leeds Supporter is always a nerve shredding existence.
We have a tendency to find the dark spot in every silver lining. In the pub celebrating our latest win. Underlining our march to promotion. Then someone surely drags us back. "Ah yes but. " We are so used to being kicked while we are down, we have taken to kicking ourselves when were up. Will injuries ruin us?
will we spend badly in January? Will we not spend at all in January?
Oh yes and what about xxxx, not fit to wear the shirt. so on, and on.
For me I can't quite believe it The next real test is Feb (what am I saying? they're all real tests) so I am not unfurling my old banners and changing "Wilkos" to "Bielsas" army. Actually I am so happy I am just nipping out for a big tin of Tippex and a spray can. MOT.

Change Sgt Wilko's Army to General Bialsa's Army, because as good as Wilko was, Bub's leagues above him.

I'm slowly moving up the scale. Was hopeful but am now optimistic. Getting eerily close to confident. The signings and results of the next two weeks will determine if this happens.

If we do get punished for spy gate, then surely everyone, every club that has come out since to say that it has gone on for years or even admitted to doing it should also be punished.
Or is it only punishable if you get caught? 🙈.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

15 Jan 2019 16:39:16
It's only punishable if you're Leeds United.

15 Jan 2019 16:56:09
To gives anything other than a slap on the wrist for this would be a disgrace. What about the divers and injury fakers, are their Clubs going to be punished? And what about the Clubs who have done things in the past then and gone unpunished? There are people who seem to want to stop LUFC having any sort of success. If Fat Frank had done something similar you could imagine some of his worshipping pundits saying "How forward thinking of this great young Manager". Makes my blood boil.

Apparently there is nothing in the rules to say it’s not allowed or illegal.! It’s just an integrity and moral issue and if you like gentlemen’s agreement within English football. So as bub says. He’s done it before as have others. So I’d say a punishment off saying don’t do it again. Is sufficient as some ex pros have said. Read Garth crooks article on BBC app and he said. Don’t see what the fuss is about. He had seen and heard off a lot worse going on over the years. Now that would be good too hear. being Leeds we will get a £15 million pound fine. All our best players banned and relegated.
Onwards and upwards. MOT. ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️.

It’s a tricky one

It’s a vague ruling they have dragged out about respectimg other clubs

Bielsa has fronted up so realistically they should warn him as to his future conduct and that’s about it

It’s tenuous at best to try and penalise the club based on a vague agreement on respect when Bielsa made it clear he voted on his own

Yes the club is responsible for it’s employees but . it’s mountain out of molehill territory when you consider other stuff going on with little or no action taken

I’d argue we respected direby that much we went to watch their methods 😂😂😂😂

Siege mentality time boys.

As the FA are also investigating the matter I'm wondering if Chelsea will be brought into the investigation, after all, AVB admitted to doing it, against everyone they played against.

Agree1 Disagree0

15 Jan 2019 20:58:57
From my perspective, there can only be two actions from this.
Bielsa gets a slap on the wrist, and warned, as step 1.
Both associations make the decision to introduce new laws to prevent it happening again, step 2.
There is no precedence, nor specific ruling that says it cannot be done.
As woody says, the whole sham is based on the “interpretation” of “respect” for fellow clubs. My simple interpretation to EFL and FA would be “we were showing that we respect that club, team and manager simply by watching their training, and assessing the clear challenge they represent to us. ”.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Jan 2019 15:23:33
Joking apart from the spy incident, I am seriously worried that the FA et al, will do their utmost to derail what is our best chance of promotion from this league. Really hope I am wrong but history of punishments indicates otherwise.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

15 Jan 2019 15:11:33
See the EFL have no decided to "investigate" the so called spying at Derby.

The FA are also "investigating"

Does that mean we can possibly be punished twice for doing something that is not illegal or has any rule against it, either within the EFL or the FA rule books?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

15 Jan 2019 16:16:12
Correct that "no" to NOW. I was a bit annoyed when I heard it on TV. Should by now be used to all this bias against us, and old and ugly enough to let it all wash over me. but I can't. it's against The Whites!

I see the Millwall boss has learnt nothing from Fat Frank about how not to motivate and wind up the Leeds team.

Following from his earlier comments that " Leeds are a disgrace" . Now he has felt the need to weigh in on Spygate!

For the way we play we deserve a match where we absolutely thump the opposition. Wouldn't it be lovely for it to come against Millwall so we can send Bermondsey back to London with something to gloat about!

Can't stop laughing at Harris calling us a disgrace. He even said they would be keeping an eye on the footpath near their training ground.

Is it just a show up and watch them play? Or is there any ticketing - max capacity issues that I should know about?
