I'm a Leeds fan through and through but I keep on saying this toanyone that will listen Brendon Rogers took an average championship side and created a Swansea side who are great to watch and can hold their own in the premiership win lose or draw they play the same way, surely this close season NW needs to get players who are comfortable on the ball and who can pass the ball swiftly and directly without losing the ball constantly. Can yu imagine an Elland road crowd appreciating a Leeds side whom can emulate Swanseas style of football would be a joy to watch {Ed003's Note - If you think warnock would change his style now you are going to be disapointed}

Believable1 Unbelievable7

As long as we win, i dont care how we play lol

Agree11 Disagree1

I personally hate the way Swansea play, they keep the ball and well.... Inside their own half! They get 70% possession and like 4 shots a game! Now teams now how to play againsed them! Hopefully they'll go down next year

Just heard Forsell will be gone next week at the latest to allow him to move on

Believable9 Unbelievable1

Good. Never done anything for us apart from tap a ball to set up 1 goal.

Agree6 Disagree1

How much did that cost us per appearence was a waste of money again ! Hope Ndola signings play a bit more

Aidan White to leave Leeds United in the summer. Contract talks have broken down again.

Believable4 Unbelievable8

Let him go and get good compensation for him

Agree11 Disagree3

All pace, no brain. Not good enough.

Agree9 Disagree2

I agree - Let him go.

Agree7 Disagree2

No problem let him go...doesn't know his best position, poor defending and terrible end product. Headless chicken most of the time, im very disappointed with his development this year. If we get a good price would be good business

Agree3 Disagree1

If you are reading this pal - dont sign for us - GO ..be gone ..off with you - good luck

Agree2 Disagree2

We wont get a good price as his contract expires this season, compo wont be that much

Opinion for what it's worth Some so called fans have accused Billy for taking thousands without return until this last game! Well if he isn't picked isn't he exactly the same as all the other players who don't get picked? If you lot who are slagging him were in his position trying hard as you can until someone gives you a chance would you turn down your wages? Grow up ! Ref Bechio when he was fit last season our first season in the championship he scored a lot of goals....therefore a rest and a good close season a return to fitness would you rather he went to another championship club and scored against us or playing for the team and scoring goals ?

Believable10 Unbelievable3

How many 'league' games has Paynter played since he's been here?

For us, Brighton or anyone else, whole game, part game, whatever?

Now how many goals had he scored in ALL games up till last saturday?

He HAS had chances and produced ONE goal in TWO years......

The case rests, m' lud!

Agree0 Disagree0

He won't score goals regularly in the Championship - end of.

From OS

"I can see Ross playing a big part next season. Whether he'll start games all the time I don't know because you need a decent squad. But his goals speak for themselves and Ross has done fantastic. I don't think he's ever worked so hard in his life and he's getting the rewards."

For me this is fairly promising, as we all know how good a player Ross is, but NW says he might not start every game. Now if that's a sign of the calibre of player that NW is looking to bring to the club, then promotion is definitely a possibility. From a very excited Leeds United fan MOT :)

Warnock has just made the best decision since becoming manager by getting rid of 2 injury prone players in Vayrynen & Parker. Always remember Parkers run down the left and cross for Becchio to score in the play off semi against Millwall.
More players to follow once the season closes. I'd expect at least 6 or 7 to go. Also dont be surprised at the likes of Becchio and Lonergran to go if we ger decent bids as NW can bring in better!
MOT {Ed020's Note -

Believable9 Unbelievable0

Becchio will not go..long contract and NW has said he is a big fan of Becchio's. He will be our main striker again next season

Agree4 Disagree8

Lets hope the first response is wrong. We don't need another manager that is deluded by pure work rate. Becchio hasn't got the ability to channel his work rate to get Leeds united into the premier league. And you are deluded if you think that he can. Ability wise League 1 at best, Work rate wise Premiership. But he doesn't win headers and has a horrible first touch, we need alot better if we expect to go up this year.

Agree5 Disagree5

Bec's will not go mate, don't you ever read the OS, he's part of his plans

Agree4 Disagree1

I'm sick of people claiming Becchio is suddenly not good enough for Leeds to get promoted... It's complete rubbish, half of you who comment talk utter rubbish in terms of the opinion he is no good 'and hardly wins headers' what kind of bull is that? Becchios season has been slow and less effective as the club chose to allow him his operation during pre-season and not in March/April to get him ready for the summer. His slow start and non fitness along with his slightly jaded self and I say slightly as he's still been effective in my eyes is a repercussion of the injury and lack of pre-season he had before. Becchio's work rate is second to non and his passion and determination to do well for the club was for me personified in him signing a 3 year deal in December last year, a period where he was already banging the goals in for fun and resultingly was being looked at by numerous premier league clubs. Luciano has done a lot for this club since he joined and all this talk of sell him now is utter rubbish, Warnock favours him and with a good pre-season and a reworked side with more and better delivery to him he will shine next season. As for Premier league class that is debatable and will only be recognised when he's given the chance (hopefully after promotion next season *fingers crossed*). They said Grant Holt wouldn't work due to age and ability and I'm pretty sure Norwich aren't looking to ship him off anytime soon!

Keep the faith, trust Warnock, stick together and keep off the players backs! Marching on together!

Agree11 Disagree10

Great post. Becchio hasn't got anything to prove at this level. 20 goals last season will do for me. Deserves more loyalty from the fans...at least another season with a full pre season and some decent service.

Agree10 Disagree7

Absolute carp and you know it. Tell me lucianos strengths other than work rate as a striker. Im all for loyalty let the lad warm the bench. But as a striker he is an enigma, hes neither quick of good in the air, technically good nor physically strong. Impact sub yes, appreciate what hes done for the club yes, Leeds united's promotion pushing striker, definately not. Well done Becchio loyal and Leeds United player through and through, but as with Grayson you have taken us as far as your ability can. MOT

Agree10 Disagree8

Becchios only let down this season is his lack of service. He has always worked hard and watching him this season he has been on a hiding to nothing in some games. Last year Max, Snoddy and Howson were giving him good service and he showed what he can do. I don't think this season he has been half as good, but name me three players who have for any length of time.

Agree4 Disagree2

"Lack of service"? The lad gets twenty balls every game plonked on his head, he just doesnt do much with them all.
As for him missing pre-season...... its April you turkey, shouldnt he be match fir by now?

Agree8 Disagree3

Ps Lucciano's strengths - errr goal scoring. I know you've got a short memory but just to fill you in, he got about 20 goals last year and was injured towards the end of the season.

Agree3 Disagree3

Agreed, so you reckon two games against Dave Athletic and Jim United would of made Becchio into Drogba? Its rubbish your blinded by workrate, he is not good enough to get us out of this league. period.

Agree7 Disagree2

Point exactly! 20 headers a game this season with route one football. Last season we mixed it up and played direct or from the back. We just haven't got the players to move the ball from the back.

Agree2 Disagree4

Did we really play from the back last year? Really? Why did we get rid of Grayson and appoint warnock then? Ive been watching Becchio since he signed on with us, now, im deffo not saying hes a rubbish player because hes not. Hes incredibly good and his loyalty and honesty towards the club cannot be faulted. BUT, to my eye hes lost that spark this season. Hes slower than he was last term. He looks heavier, hes whingier than ever when it comes to referees. He needs to pull his socks up if he wants to play Premier League footy. I sincerely hope he does because he IS Leeds through and through and we need players with his loyalty.

Agree6 Disagree1

How can people be so stupid?

If a footballer misses pre-season training, as Becchio did last summer, they never reach the peak levels of condition required nowadays. Pre-season is when the hard yards are done, it lays the basic foundation for a player. Without it you simply can't compete to your best.

GET OFF BECCHIO'S BACK YOU WHINING IGNORANT PEOPLE!!

anybody know when the new kit is out this year...Uncle Ken missed the final game for kit relase last season (missing out on ,000s of sales) as he couldnt agree the sponsor deal in time

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Im praying it is alot better than the current kit.

Agree6 Disagree0

Love the blue away shirts, hope we get another one! The home shirt quality now is sh*te!

Macron shirts all look C**P, why we change from the whole white kit, it was best we had in ages.

Paul green anyone?

Believable3 Unbelievable11

No thank you, he's a terrible 'footballer'

Agree10 Disagree3

Who does he play for? what has he done? never heard of the guy i must say.

Agree5 Disagree0

Paul Green of Tamworth or Derby County.

Agree0 Disagree0

He plays for Derby and he is a free agent soon Gj

Agree0 Disagree3

Were a much better club than Derby County, what do they do? win their first 5 games of the season then go downhill for the rest of it under a manager living in his dads shadow and will never cut it as a top manager

Think what happened this time last season, McCormack played, scored goals, now he's our top scorer and our best striker, Paynter has played scored goals and everyones taking the p*ss!

Believable10 Unbelievable4

Any fool can see that McCormack is a quality footballer, whereas Paynter is a clumsy old-fashioned centre forward whose level is League One at best.

Perhaps that's why they're taking the p*ss!

I find it funny how some of our fans react, if billy scores 30 goals next season and we get promoted he will be the best striker since yeboah and they will say they always stood by him. yes he has had a bad time at our club but he has stuck at it took the stick and worked hard regardless which for me is a LEEDS UTD player. if your a LEEDS UTD fan get behind the team cos we are part of that team. for those fans that do anyway M.O.T.

Believable8 Unbelievable6

And how much has his goals cost Leeds in wages? If he's that good loads of teams will be waiting to snap him up including prem clubs ,let's see we're he ends up.

Agree5 Disagree2

Couldn't agree more.

This is a player who has never been given a real chance. Well he's got it now. Let's back the lad and see what he can do.

Agree8 Disagree3

He had plenty of chances last season and he scored just one goal, what does that tell you? fair enough if he gets his chance n scores his goals ill be happy if hes helping the cause, i just dont rate him

I wonder what the scoreline would have been if rogers didnt pick up an early injury and get replaced by webber as im pretty sure that rogers would have put away atleast two of those chances that webber messed up but hope that was just a blip and he hasnt lost his confidence. {Ed003's Note - Dont know? 2-2 ? }
