Just been reading a post from Massimo Cellini on the paper and if its true Neil will be gone n sound like a new coach is in place n sounds like its Gus poyet

Sounds like he is well peed off with Redders. Poyet would be good for us, but if Cellino is in a bad mood we could get Milanic back. Any one with a bit of tactical know how is better than what we have.

Ask Sunderland what they think about Poyet,can't let your heart rule your head.

True did not do too well there but I think anyone would have struggled there

If it is Poyet then at least we will be fit and move the ball faster. Just need a couple of players with real pace then we will do well. Need to make the decision now though - he needs time to get his regime in place. Bit of a roller coaster at Sunderland but I reckon he has the fundamentals right! He know English football and has drive - I would back him. Still think it's a shame that we couldn't get the Thompson / NR combo back, it was working well - in my oppinion.

Poyet could be good for us. The last time we really played good football was when he was 1st team coach and Wise was manager. When Poyet left, the following game was completely different, hoof ball, it was aweful, so doesn't take a genius to realise that was Poyet's influence
If he comes, we might see some good football which would be nice!
Failing that, get Warburton in and save money on the sandwich bread in the canteen. Double win!

As much as I would love to see Gus Poyet as head coach I still think that Phil Brown will replace Redfearn and if that's Cellino,s choice we should hear something after Southends play off final next Saturday. Hope I'm wrong

Milanic still being paid by Leeds. So much for Cellinos cost cutting! Apparently he has another year on his contract and can be recalled at any time. You couldn't make it up.

Disgusted to read that Cellinios wife and daughter have been abused by so called Leeds fans and don't want to live in the city - they after all have upped sticks and moved to another country following Massimo dream of running Leeds United

Whatever you think of the man its not the action of true supporters of this great club to take their frustrations out in this way

If it's true, it certainly is disgusting and wrong. However can we really trust what Cellino is saying?

Warburton, Poyet, Adkins, which one would you choose. My initial choice was for Warburton but having thought about it I would go for Poyet. Knows Leeds and was the driving force behind Wise, who was lost once Poyet left. Has experience of premiership and would work well with foreign contingent in squad. Plays a nice style of football. Whoever we get I hope its a two or three year contract to get some consistency

Warburton needs to be discounted, if he was prepared to work under a director of football he would still be at Brentford. I still think it is more likely that Phil Brown will be Redders replacement. I might be going down the wrong path but I think that Cellino going to the Morecambe game, the link with Pearson and that no decision has been made as Southend are in the playoffs could be factors or just a coincidence

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - he worked under McParland as technical director, which is the same thing. What he objected to was having the players brought in purely on their stats, which is what Brentford's owner intends to do.}

16 May 2015 10:45:51
Fair enough Ed001 but do you think he will agree to players being brought in on Cellino's whim?

Agree0 Disagree2

{Ed001's Note - no idea, he was certainly not picking all the players at Brentford though.}

Adkins all day long. Also, remember we are still a big club. Good managers at minnows don't perform here. We need a tactician who excels under pressure.
