Neil Redfearn not in dugout with Darko. Very shrewd of NR in my opinion. Nothing to gain and everything to lose by being too closely associated with first team, when under 21's flying high. You stay with them for now Neil, because the big job is yours next - unless MC is completely bonkers (which I don't think he is) - it's just a matter of time

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Dont you rate new manager speedy?

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm very happy with the choice of Darko Ausman. I was amongst those who thought NR should be kept with the academy for now. Who knows what Darko will turn out to be like. I have my suspicions that he might turn out to be a little too conservative. But obviously I hope he's great, and we progress this year and get promoted next year and Darko is with us for years to come. But (and given Mc's track record), when the time comes I will be 100% behind Redfearn being given the job next time, if he's still with us - and I think he's being wise and increasing his chances of that happening by putting a little distance between himself and the first teem at the moment to see how things go.

Agree0 Disagree0

Coach may well play safe which I kinda think he will as well. Hopefully he will sort the defense out, ie play people in their positions (Warnock back in tonight for me).

I just feel that you can afford to take a bit of a risk in other areas and don't just try things that haven't worked in the past for the sake of it or because those players have experience.

For me in the next 3 games I would try Dawson as the kid is on fire and give Adryan a go at some point as he must be fit by now for at least 30 mins in a game when others start to get tired. If kid not up to it in training then fine just send him home.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry I don't rate darko here is why. football too deep too pretty slow and inneffective, had interantional break and today 1st half has been the same. might be good in forgrine leagues but champ needs pace, direct and purpose. rotheram look more dangrous than us IMO. It might look pretty but gives lesser teams a chance to look/be more dangrous. a good team over achives and I don't think this style is effective enough for us to beat teams better than us and therefore win enough games and get us promoted. still that said early days and he needs a chance, hope I am wrong but I like the good old fashioned sam alaydice tony pulis way of football it gets teams like leeds back in prem and stay there

Well lads a trip to the New york stadium on friday night, I was born n bread in Rotherham but moved away and it will be my first visit to the new ground (poor old milmoor) had 4yrs with Rotherham boys many moons ago ahhhhh memories.

Anyway what's your predictions for the away match!!

Im going for 2-2 draw (might have £5 on it) and a point away from home is never a bad result IMO.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed013's Note - Rotherham are very very good at scoring late so I predict a draw with them equalising in injury time}

I'm going for a 2-1 away win again. If I keep predicting the same score it's bound to come in one day and I will probably be unbearable for at least a week! Auntie Lucy and Dook to net. I'm off down Laddys with Mrs Micks housekeeping in the morning. fingers crossed!

Hope your'e wrong George, whatever else happens we need to quickly move on from these games where we have only been testing their keeper once or twice in 90 minutes. Def looking forward to it. Unfortunately can't get there tonight but will be in front of the box with my mug of cocoa

Agree0 Disagree0

Swap the cocoa for Stella and I'm with you Speedy! Got to work tonight so will be watching on the box too. MoT

Peterboro
What you have to think is if it was your daughter or mine how would you feel him playing again and being on tv??

Agree0 Disagree0

I understand all the emotions running with this guy but I also 100% believe in once you have done the time you should be allowed to carry on your life.

He has done his time he is square with the house.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - I disagree, rape affects the victim's life for good, there is no way the perpetrator can ever be 'square with the house'.}

Spain
I agree with most crimes and everybody deserves a second chance but rape is rape, someone's life has been traumatised and god knows what she went through.

Hope she's fine god bless ;(

To be fair it's not like he waited down an alley didn't she go back with him to his hotel? I know drunk perhaps but if it wasn't a footballer would anything of being said? I might be wrong but sorry 2 sides to every coin. Be was wrong to take advantage but I don't think it is right to categorise him as the same predators that we know. If I'm on the wrong case I apologise.

Ahh those were the days speedy the greatest team ever assembled at elland road what the kids have missed! Lol mot

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed013's Note - Unfortunately Leeds have lost over a decade of young fans due to the downfall of the Club. Lets hope that things are on the up, sooner rather than later and then they can witness the good times again. It is sad walking around Leeds seeing kids wearing Premier League shirts of other teams}

I know Peterborough, and we got to see them in the scratching shed for 3 shillings and sixpence (cheaper at the other end I think)

Agree0 Disagree0

The only way to get kids back is to introduce standing again. I remember the days when you paid to get in the kids section and jump over to get into the kop. You don't see kids going by themselves these days it is more fun to go with your mates than your parents.

Agree0 Disagree0

So algarvejim, you paid to get into kids section, then hopped over into a more expensive area. I've just checked with Shaun Harvey - I hope your not wanting to own a football league club in the near future. Computer says no!

There are so many possible combinations in defence, midfield, and up front now, I couldn't even begin to guess what starting 11 Darko will select on Friday. I'm thinking Silvestre is the only certain starter, which must be great for competition amongst players, as long as they don't get too cheesed off when they are not selected

Believable0 Unbelievable0

If anyone does correctly pick the starting 11 can you do my lotto numbers too?

Agree0 Disagree0

Beat me to it spain.
Hat's off to anyone who can predict it. I'm not going to even try

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh, I'll have a go at Friday's team: Gary Sprake,
Paul Madeley, Terry Cooper, Billy Bremner (c), Jack Charlton, Norman Hunter, Peter Lorimer, Allan Clarke, Mick Jones, Johnny Giles, Eddie Gray!

Or maybe I'm just stuck in a time warp

Agree0 Disagree0

Poor old Trevor cherry never got in ;(

Agree0 Disagree0

I know Andy. Poor Paul Reaney should have been in an 'all

Agree0 Disagree0

Mick Bates speedy, franky gray and gordon mcqueen but think they might be latter end of the leeds greats my mind isn't as good as it use to be ;)

Terry Yorath

Agree0 Disagree0

Well I find google helps the memory a little Andy lol. Isn't that what it was invented for?

If your talking of early seventies missing Harvey, Jordan and Carl Harris, Rod Belfit left early seventies. Greenhoff left late sixties
