The hardest part of today's game was after 30 minutes we had 60% possession and we hadn't an attempt on goal not one attempt on goal. With all we have to play for and we couldn't muster an attempt. If I was monk i'd be selling Wood for as much as I can get and investing in a couple of strikers. On another point does antonsson offer anything. I saw him in pre season and thought he was ok.

Shocking performance today but keep calm everyone and stay positive. We can win every game from now on. Wendies and Fulham need to play each other. Also, different mentality being the chaser, might suit us better. MOT.

Can we Lucas? we said that 3 games ago and we've hardly shown up for the last 270 minutes! I can't believe that the players can't be motivated with a packed er and what is at stake!

I also can't believe we still have no plan b and field exactly the same team who we total shite on Friday! I am going to be honest, did Swansea get rid of monk because of the plan b and the way he appears to be totally unable to see how a game needs to be changed!

Totally agree Lucas, whilst today's performance was really poor, until it's mathematically impossible for us to make the playoffs I am going to firmly believe we can. Not getting the idea of blaming specific individuals, all Leeds fans know we are the surprise package of the season, spent the least yes, but other priorities like removing GFH tools took precedence.

I'll say now, whatever happens been an amazing Season from where we started from, secure Monkey and his Team and the future is very exciting indeed. (although have a nagging feeling there is a foreign replacement manager all lined up) Brighton have showed, however bitter you may feel, you back the Manager (they really didn't spend much) and have this collective belief your going up. Thanks to MC absolutely no reason whatsoever why we cannot do the same.

I'm finding it hard Lucas, no impossible, to find any positives from today. Unless you count being happy with 7th when the season started.

Cork we flood midfield and play two up front. At the very least we change formation to match what is happening in the match. We continue to play the same formation and expect the opposition not to realise and hope that wood can grab us a goal! If we have 4 I in front of the ball with poor cover for the defence we are only going to be able to stop a certain number of shots. But to be honest at this stage anything other than fracking 4231 is a plan b!

So three at the back is what you are saying? If we had a striker with some pace to play up with Wood that might be a plan B but to to switch to a 352 mid game with say doukara coming on up front, to me isn't going to work.

Look we all have our opinions but to blame the system is bshite. And by the way most sides in championship now play same way as us. They are not flattering us by changing the way they play to combat Leeds. As John Giles said players win games not systems.

But we are being overwhelmed in the middle which has being pointed out by many on here, and we also have roofe, he has pace or Alfonso so does he. If we don't have the players to play that system then play a system which suits the players we do have.

And in terms of not changing mid game that's what I'm saying we're doing. So on that way the opposition set up to stifle, its obvious in the first 10 minutes that it is not working so you'd stick with exactly the same thing without changing it?

Changing the game up, half time, last ten minutes is exactly what works. You need goals you put more men up front and press higher, you need to hold a lead you close up and put on defensive players.

I will always remember watching and Chelsea vs arsenal match, Chelsea needed 2 in the last 10 minutes, they played 2 at the back, brought on 4 strikers totally overwhelmed arsenal, they hadn't a clue how to cope and by god, Chelsea got three goals!

Didn't Monk bring on a forward for Bridcutt on Monday with half hour to go? I really don't believe we have the necessary players to change the system in a forward sense. We have little pace and I include roofe in that. O'Kane for Hernandez will give us more industry in midfield but then we are losing the most creative player.

Personally i'd play Viera and O'Kane as they don't play too deep and are more forward thinking. Confidence is low and players not performing as they can imo. Don't believe it's is the system and that we've been sussed out but we just need to get back to our best quick or we could be back in championship again next season.

But we are going up this year. Ayling is going to get forward quicker and more often. OKane and Viera will drive us on. Hernandez and roofe will become their creative best again. New Spanish geezer will demand the ball more. And Chris Wood will do what he does best. Things can change so quick in football, even in a week. MOT

Well cork me and you can disagree with each other as much as we like, but you and I both know that monk is the only man who can change it. he did bring sakho on for bridcutt, but you're telling me that he was brought and the formation changed, or did the formation remain and a personnel swap?

There certainly was a marked improvement going forward following this, but it took 55 minutes to do anything and when we need a goal players were pumped forward in the manner that really required.

Even monk today has come out and said we've been playing defensive and within ourselves. Why the bloody hell was caution thrown to the wind earlier when teams were there for the taking but we just didn't go for it? !

Nah it's luck pal. 1 shot in the whole game v Derby, dodgy 96th minute penalty v Preston. Next week they'll hit the bar about 3 times and Fulham will win 1-0.
