Not convinced Rossco will stay after his interview today. He wants to stay, Mac wants him to stay, but GFH will ultimately make the decision. We need Diouf & Norris off the wage bill sharpish and allow Brian to get another 2 in

Watched the match today not sure it was the same match as some on here looking at the comments, first half poor, second half much better and mostly Leeds, great energy but didn't have any creativity within the team in final third . McCormack lees murphy good quality, Austin in my opinion is our main man right now good start to the season and is holding the team together . 2or three good signings and we are right in there . can't fault the teams effort that's are best asset . everyone deserved the shirt again today. win lose or draw that's why I've been a white for 50 years

It wasn't the best of performances today, this Present team will have problems putting bums on seats for home games, we are still 2/3 quality players from a promotion team, Poleon goes to ground to easy, and McCormack is having to work to hard to receive the ball, Pace and Flair are missing with abundance, with a decent winger McCormack will get a hatfull of goals and Smith would also benifit with some decent crosses in.

Totally agree. if we just had 2/3 more players. We will meet much better sides than today and will struggle because we lack creativity and a good striker.

Smith just isn't very good full stop

Why isn't smith any good then please don't tell me that your judging him on 20 minutes here and there of the bench give the lad a chance can tell it means a lot to him to play for a club like us

With a fully fit Matt Mills missing the Bolton game again today you have to question is this deal all but lined up: Leeds United appear to be waiting to finalise the release of 1 player (Aiden White - Blackpool) in order for GFH to release the needed funds (roughly £700,000).
After this BM will turn his attention to a winger, with GFH willing to fund 1 more player, however Brian will once again have to wait for a player to leave, with Leeds willing to listen to offers for El Hadji Diouf.

Negotiating his wages should be a laugh then i'm sure whites wages will cover his 25k a week lol

Poleon is rapid isn't he! He is dangerous and a good outlet. Clearly got ability. Today though he was naive and inexperienced. Kept trying to do too much. Not releasing the ball at right time or quickly enough, getting the ball stuck under his feet, running into corners and trying too many tricks. Reminded me of a poor mans Zaha. Temperament also a bit suspect. A good prospect though if he can learn the game. Good desire as well. Offered more than Hunt- not sure about him as a signing.

Yes but Noel hunt was signed by McDermott for a reason, poleon is fast but if you look at his first touch it is definitely not good enough. Noel hunt was one of Brian's best players in the year reading were promoted so for free why would he turn his head away from coaching him again. McCormack has to stay with green, white and Norris needing to be sold. Paul green is and always has been terrible.

You're joking me Poleon is a very poor player he's completely headless.

I admire the mans energy and desire but in all fairness he has very little football ability.

I know a lot of people will stand up for him because he's only a young lad and came through the youth team but be realistic and honest he didn't put one foot right today.

On the up side 3 games in unbeaten and 5 points delighted with that.

I think a few of you are being a bit harsh on Poleon I admit he is not the most gifted player on the planet but at least he put a shift in today, he ran for lost causes and pestered their defence to the point of getting free kicks and considering the Wed's defence alone are 18 foot tall for that he deserves credit

Id rather have poleon instead of hunt, he truly is poor his best season for reading that people talk about consisted of what 10 goals in like 40 games, I can't believe that bmd genuinely expected to have to start hunt, dunno what he was thinking bring Morrison back instead:s?

Well you have no clue about Paul green. Yes he made a mistake today but he is one of the better players at the club. Always gives 100% effort and Is up and down the pitch. Austin, murphy and green are out best midfielders by miles

5th post:i reely hate the tendency for people to get tore into what people say, especially the "clearly you. " the only thing that's clear here is u have no idea what games I've seen and obviously I have or I wudent say that right?. more to the point Morrison hadent played all season was brought in a fired right into the squad and was basically expected to carry on becchios scoring no wonder he way have been pissed off, so why would bring in arguably a worse player and loan him out to a rival (I imagine milwall won't be paying all his wages?) I've have steve playing everytime over hunt there records speak for themselves

Yeah mate you no nothing if morison is had good has you say he is then why are millwall fans already wanting us to take him back get to a game once in a while

Clear we're missing some extra quality. Pretty poor today, expect to beat Wednesday! On the plus side, my source tells me Matt Mills has verbally agreed to join Leeds United. McDermott waiting for green light from owners. Seems like Blackpool have improved their bid for Aidy White who wasn't in the team at all today.

Watched today's game on TV,

We need 2 - 3 more signings of quality and I'm certain BMcD knows this. Hope we can shift some fringe players out, Pugh, Norris, and I would let Varney go.

Poleon worked hard, some nice touches but he has a lot to learn as doesn't release ball early, naive a tad, but the more he plays in first team he will improve.

Young Murphy is a class signing, he seems to have settled in well and looks like a proper midfield grafter.

Ross goal was sheer class, if we sell him then that's a sad day for Leeds United.

Thought Rudy had very good game, no pace though, still broke up their play very well.
Defence and Paddy held it together and look more assured than last season under Warnock.
Hope we hang on to Diouf as he has always served us well when he is fit, which he isn't as had little game time today.

Jury is still out on Matt Smith and Green was really bad today.
More creativity in the squad and games like today's would have been 3 points easy. Here's hoping.

I would say we need a creative, pacy winger who would dictate our play, produce quality crosses and make good runs. That was shown today because at the moment we have mccormack on the wing who although is playing well he could probably score more goals in a central role and that is what he wants. Our crosses were quite poor as well today. Peltier makes good runs as a wing back but his final ball is not good enough. This is the reason why we create so few chances and score so few goals. Because we have no creativity. Mccormack, green and peltier shouldn't have to be our wingers and main crossers because half the time they come in for criticisms they do not deserve.
I also think a centre back with the strength of Austin is needed then we would almost certainly stop all shots and end up with a lot of clean sheets. They do say when your not conceding your not losing.
I would not mind sacrificing el hadji diouf just because his fitness is quite clearly not good enough. He looked worn out after coming on as a substitute. I did think before today we should never sell him but his fitness and the fact that other players are showing better quality then what he showed last year. A few squad players could leave. Norris, drury, varney and hall would generate good funds to ensure quality acquisitions

Spot on though I think smith will be good asset.
Watford reading forest have goals galore in them . More scorers needed. Shrew leeds

Varney did really well today though, why get rid of him

Thought Rudy was brilliant today and Rossco too. Solid start, would have been nice to get all 3 points but its good to be unbeaten!

U being serious? honestly I thought that game was pretty rubbish ha I dunno where bmd sees when he says were playing good passing foottball we don't play like that, the ball gets pumped upfield far too often and alas. the unchanged defence is still as poor as its been for a while now

2 good tackles and a lot of tracking back due to hos wayward passes. Great passion. Poor ability

Your going to say we played rubbish aren't you especially when your sat at home watching it instead of actually been there get a grip and get behind brian stop finding negatives all the time

Dont know how anyone can say we were shocking fans need to wake up and realise where not going to hammer everyteam we play same old though with are fans the bates stay aways still haven't returned what's your excuse now!

The game wasn't great although better than the dross last week. I just thought Rudy was all over the park. I kept an eye on him as he was a disappointment last season. We need more quality without a doubt and we probably need a box goal poacher as our forwards game is more outside the box. Without playing great we are unbeaten and I think it's an ok start

The Weds goal; Warnock attacked the cross and left the post 1 - 0

On another occasion Warnock again left the post but, got away with it.

One further cross and both Warnock and Green got in each others way, free header for Antonio and luckily we got away with it, COME ON - GET A GRIP
