On SSN that Charlie Taylor has been offered a new 2 year contract. Interesting to see what comes off this. ? A few been released also. Let's hope we get our transfers done early doors and everyone up to speed for pres season games and hit ground running this season instead off last seasons dreadful start. ⚽️👍

The offer of a contract is more like to have been made to protect his value when compensation is decided at a tribunal. We have to be seen to show willing in trying to keep Taylor, even though he doesn't want to stay with us

Have just read that Hernandez's contract has been renewed as it has an automatic extension based on the number of games played. The club are said to be delighted. I'm not. He's is on a lot of money and doesn't have too many good games. He is getting older and I think we should be doing better than him if we are going to challenge for promotion next year. I don't think he is going to get better with age. His wages would have been better spent elsewhere but not on Barrow, Grimes, Botaka or Pedraza.

Hopefully he will improve if he gets a decent pre-season under his belt - he wasnt fit last year and i think he ran out of steam around january

The same Hernandez who was second top scorer and top assister? We need more than just running and tackling in midfield, we need creativity, vision, passing etc. Hernandez is still a class act.

When you can pick a pass out like he can, you don't need to be running around like a headless chicken all game. Could do without him going missing in games but on his day he's a game changer. Good business I reckon. MM
