At least the Yiadom rubbish can be put to bed now. Reading are doomed, doomed I say!

Hernandez would be a fantastic start but his wages be a big issue. Have said b4, should have sacked PH weeks ago and tried for Marco Silva, he would have the pull to bring in these types of players in. Now it's into the close season and a few managers been sacked, everyone touting their names. Glad we missing out on Barnsley RB to reading, don't think we need him with ailing and Coyle. Let's hope Pearce stays otherwise need a LB, get rid of de Bock and Anita.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

17 May 2018 23:38:16
Can we maybe get over ph and sacking him. It’s unlikely to happen so move on until sept! Agree about Anita and de Bock. Feel a bit sorry for debock. Obviously Orta thought he good enough. Up rooted him, stuck him in a strange country and he got to play 3 games. $1 mill per game.

Agree2 Disagree0

18 May 2018 07:33:09
That's Orta for you!

Agree0 Disagree0

18 May 2018 08:17:56
I'm with you shadwell. Can't feel confident at all with PH in charge. What self respecting pro is going to come to a team with a coach that has the worst win % in the whole of the football league, I won't be renewing my season ticket to watch more of the same next year

Agree2 Disagree0

18 May 2018 11:00:27
Got to agree with you Aussie What a shame for all concerned. If we keep him, which I think we will, then I hope he has a good pre season, has acclimatised and provides back up to the staying Pearce.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 May 2018 13:05:51
Aus, Leo, agree re de bock. Started off well in his first game, then had a couple of shockers for which he became a scapegoat. Hope he can improve thro pre season.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 May 2018 16:48:56
I reckon de Bock might be better playing in front of a LB, he can hit some massive passes, and if he misses a tackle then there's someone to help out

Agree0 Disagree0

17 May 2018 20:20:23
Have any of you seen the money for the premiership this season on the beeb website? How obscene is it? West Brom for bottom got £95 chuffing million in tv and prize money. WTF 😱 #radzgetyerhandinyerpocketifyerwantsomeofthatpie

Believable1 Unbelievable0

17 May 2018 20:42:34
It's just ridiculous. Time it was sorted

Agree0 Disagree0

18 May 2018 11:24:52
Speedy, we wouldn’t say no to it, it’s what it is.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 May 2018 12:16:38
It's the gap between the prem and championship that's obscene. Give all championship clubs an extra 20 million. Would not be noticed by prem clubs

Agree0 Disagree0

18 May 2018 13:09:23
Totally agree Speedy. Many said at the advent of the PL that it would create a massive gulf between the leagues, ands it's now hit a peak. They need to find a way for a more even distribution of finances, not just to the championship, but all the way down to grass roots, even junior football, in my opinion.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 May 2018 14:02:47
Over and above this alone, just read that Sunderland received a further payment at the end of the season of £41 million! To compete in L1 against the likes of Accrington Stanley! How the chuff is that a fair, competitive environment?

Agree0 Disagree0

18 May 2018 16:48:48
Yeah, and we managed £7.5 million from the ever so well run FL.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 May 2018 19:50:34
Hernandez from Hull is a decent player. Doubt we could land him but even if we did isn't he another with injury problems.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

18 May 2018 08:30:36
Yes he is Hess, missed the biggest part of last season but hey on the bright side at least Robert's would have someone to talk to

Agree0 Disagree0

17 May 2018 19:08:44
It will be a sad and emotional farewell if (and hopefully when) Heck goes. But I'll get over it eventually, though it may take minutes. I'm struggling to think of who I'd really really like as his replacement. Sadly I've gone off the Larry coming home idea. Ranieri comes to mind. I'd have him in a heartbeat. Is he a realistic possibility?

Believable3 Unbelievable0

17 May 2018 19:18:52
Mentioned him earlier, free in the summer and a mate of Radz. Would be best signing we will make if we put the money up.

17 May 2018 20:03:46
Sorry Bige. I missed that post. Have a word

Agree0 Disagree0

17 May 2018 21:05:47
Think we need to look at managers like him to be fair. We have some decent players but the managers we have had can not get the best out of them or even play them where they should. can't see that changing much with Hecky.

Agree3 Disagree0

17 May 2018 22:31:43
We're currently an average, mid table, championship side operating on a small budget, so no, Claudio won't be coming to Leeds anytime soon sadly.

Agree2 Disagree1

18 May 2018 07:35:41
Have to agree with that Bright. Some major policy changes required to attract a Manager and players of promotion quality.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 May 2018 07:39:24
Maybe not Bright but Radz should be making an effort to get him if he is serious about promotion. Do any of us seriously think Hecky will be taking us out of this league, i will be very surprised if he does, but all the best eh.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 May 2018 08:33:28
I'll be surprised if he wins two on the trot BIGE

Have to agree Brighty this year an average, mid table Championship side but just wait while next year ?

Agree0 Disagree0

18 May 2018 11:23:16
Yeah. Just wait!

Agree0 Disagree0

18 May 2018 11:28:59
I would say we are a big championship side with a mid table owner, and a league 2 side manager,

I'd just like to say a big thank you to all of you who voted for me in the POTY poll. I know how much you all appreciate my words of wisdom and along with my wit and humour. I'll collect my prize at the first home game of next season in the grand presentation just before KO. 😂😜💙

Speedy. My financial advisor, Billy hills, says if you want to hand the money over to me then I can invest it with them wisely and guarantee a nice return on your investment. Would that be something you would like me to do for you?

GIW. 1-Aussie for finally talking sense. 2-Speedy mainly for being a closet better. 3-Wex for just being Wex. Would have had Sir Michael in there for his SIL stories but he’s gone off the radar recently.

Looks like TP is off. Most likely destination Bournemouth. They're no doubt using the improvement of Lewis Cook as persuasion together with more money of course. TP should stay though because Cook had 100 or championship league games under his belt before leaving. TP should do the same. Can't help but think TP didn't like the criticism which came his way from Heck after a fixture a month ago. Bad management move Heck. Could cost us.

If this is true George it is a bad start to the transfer window. The criticism he received was harsh especially the way other players had performed in that position before he got his chance.

If he can't take a bit of constructive criticism then I don't think that Elland Road is the place for him, no matter how good he is.

Agree0 Disagree1

17 May 2018 18:20:37
Where has this come from about TP?

Agree0 Disagree1

17 May 2018 19:37:33
Agree AL he should be able to take constructive criticism, but maybe on this occasion if Heckingbottom needed to say it, it could have been kept in the dressing room.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 May 2018 22:36:19
Saddens me that a young player who hasn't yet made it, isn't willing to commit his immediate future to the club that has given him a chance. Is this a case of greed on his part or just our hierarchy not willing to pay him his worth? . Hope it's not a case of another young player thinking he s already made it. TP do yourself a favour stay and prove you are a talent, then in future the money and fame will come, unless you want to sit on some other teams bench with a few more quid in your bank.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 May 2018 07:40:26
Spot on Mezzer, but these lads have Agents in their ear telling them they are better than what they are to up the anti.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 May 2018 08:08:11
Is it really bad management if we sell a promising (yet unkown quality and unproven) left back for say 3/4 million, to free up more funds to sign bartley, who reportedly has an asking price of 6 million. with Swansea now in the champ, and his may lukey lukey playing for leeds, I think he could be swayed to come back. the management move was bad from heck yes, but don't forget were trying to pull off Hernandez, barts, and I'm hearing whispers steve evans is trying to bring coops to posh? we can't have it all, but if selling tp means we getcaptain barts back ill be over the moon.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 May 2018 16:49:59
Yep, but, myself, didn't even think there was much in it anyway.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 May 2018 08:35:00
Just to keep up with the theme of most of the doomers on here Abe Hernandez is that the best we can do its Hecky's fault again. Can we just have a little positivity he would be a class signing if we got him but I'm sure that still wouldn't be good enough

Believable3 Unbelievable3

17 May 2018 10:08:24
Na his played and scored in championship so not for us, we want an unknown hopefully injury prone striker .

Agree4 Disagree0

17 May 2018 10:10:35
No one's saying he wouldn't be good enough there saying we can't afford him

Agree2 Disagree0

Mart i'm just pre-empting the sooth sayers on here bit tongue in cheek really.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 May 2018 12:30:44
I'd love to see him sign but his wages would split the dressing room. Unless maybe that's radz cunning plan. Sign em all up on a 4yr deal then drop the Pay cap with a few new players on big money and when the other players come in to complain he can say come back when your contracts ready for renewal! #GENIOUS
