At the moment the club is rotten from the top. Cellino is a joke and must go. He is continually destabilising things like away fans ticket allocations and the Byram situation. I have always said his was a bad acquisition and I am right. We need an English owner with a British Manager. Cooper's injury means Belluschi will be in for a few games. Thing get worse. This is one of the worst Leeds teams I have seen in 60 years.

No home win since March 4th, and only 3 all year, this is relegation material, it's outrageous that this is continuing in front of the paying fans, Credit to the 22k that turned up, if we had a team that could perform then Cellino wouldn't have to worry about when the fans would turn up, I'm not chucking in the towel as yet, but it's getting to a stage where you know what's coming, the team itself lacks character and self belief at times they actually look alienated toward each other, indiduals doing their own thing, it summed it up around 85 mins Silvestre hoofed it to the halfway line twice to one of their players, then Wooton with no one near him had the audacity to play him a back pass (which he favours, why can't the lad run up the pitch with the ball) and the same thing happened again, FFS we where 2-1 down.
The final third is even worse, what do they do in training, can anyone actually see us scoring in open play, I thought we had a few dark stages in the early eighties but this is something else.

I fear the writing is on the wall for Mr Rossler, we are no better than we were 12 months ago. Unfortunately the Italian owner is not going to help matters at all.

Wotton is league 1 at best, and will cost us at least 1 goal a game.
The fact Rosler can't see it, is a real worry. We sit 3 point's of the drop zone, we will soon be in it. Very lucky to pick up 3 point's at MK, their 10 men ran our 11 ragged. The only heavy metal is in our player's legs. I thought this season would be better, but nothing has changed.

All of the above is correct. It's disturbing. It's got to the stage with Rosler and Cellino that the blind are leading the blind. Another loss and Rosler enters Milanic and Hockaday territory.

I can pray JFH gets the job but I'd prefer him to complete another season with Burton first.

There were several players at fault for both goals today - it's awful sometimes how easy we make it for other teams to score. For the 1st the midfield guy went past Cook and Adeyemi far too easily then Bamba dived in befor Wooten got caught a little too far forward - 1-0 with the first attack. Last goal, Antenucci turned his back in the tackle, Wooten got sucked in, Byrm didn't follow the runner - too many players making silly mistakes which we get punished for. Look at he goals we've given away the last few weeks and a lot are from our poor play. We can't afford to kee doing this as we don't create enough chances to outscore our mistakes. When we do create a chance we don't take them such as Wood and his sitter yesterday. We did play soke decent stuff yesterday but lacked the final ball. The substitutions seemed to kill our momentum a bit in my opinion.

Rosler promised changes after the Birmingham game and although he changed some of the personnel the formation stayed the same. I don't understand what he sees in Wooton and unfortunately he was at fault for the first goal by being out of position and being outrun by the winger despite having a 5 yard lead. After getting back into the game we started to get on top against an average top of the table team. To go on and win the game required bravery from Rosler but he reverted to type by bringing on Antennuci but changing the formation to 4-2-3-1 which led us to being defensive. The removal of Botaka for Byram mean't we lost a player who caused Brighton genuine problems. Time for Rosler to go as he will never change he cautious approach.

Have to be critical of Rosler. Bad start playing Wooten at right back. At best he is solid but gives us nothing going forward and is suspect when anyone runs at him (or past him which is the norm) . His substitutions were odd. Mowatt had a poor game. He looked unfit or disinterested throughout. He did put in the decent cross but otherwise poor. He hasn't looked right since our fans had a real go at him on social media for saying that Kewell was his hero. Probably just a coincidence. Back to the substitutions. Rosler was right to take off Mowatt but Murphy should have been the replacement. His passing and movement going forward would have been an improvement. Antenucci should have come on for Dallas. Don't know what Rosler has seen in training with Buckley. Hasn't produced anything at all yet on the pitch. Byram for Botaka. What was that all about? At best it could be seen as a negative defensive step because he wasn't going to be better than Botaka going forward. Botaka showed some good touches and made Brighton 'double up 'on him because he was causing them problems. At worst it was a nothing decision. Like for like and leaving Wooten to plod on at the back. Makes no sense. When Byram came on there was no need at the time. Completely coincidently and not just using hind sight if he had left it alone we wouldn't have gone down to ten men. The message is - if it doesn't need changing don't change it.

Came where to start. Sam should have started. A player who is being watched by premier league teams is on the bench while a centre back plays right back. Once again 4-5-1 at home. We ran out of steam after 40 min and the players look tired and wanting the half time whistle. Wood missed a sitter. Brighton are not great and we could have gone at them but didn't. Got to say Rose is not the answer.

Why oh why was best player on pitch in Botaka taken off? replaced by Sam Byram, lost Cooper, wooton to centre def and Byram could have slotted in at RB? could still have had 11 men, still think 4-4-2 our best option at home. still we looked bright at times, agree all wood did all day was hold ball, still team giving ball away in final 3rd too many times, but with wood solo what do we expect.

Well. Being totally selfish. I don't live in Leeds any more and probably won't get to see many games live, so I'm more interested in points than performances.
I'm by no means anti Uwe - but regardless of his team selections, formations or whatever - he has to show he can coach this team to get points from games. And there has to come a time when someone else is given a chance if he can't deliver. I'm happy for him to have a little longer, but if we go 3 or 4 more games without any points, I think it will be tricky for anyone to defend him. Unless there are some who would give him longer?

To be honest, Brightons back 4 didn't break sweat, Wood had a shocker his first touch is bad and as for the header!, Wooton out of position for the 1st goal, the lad then just breezed past him, he's not a right back ( but we had one on the bench? )
Cook is ahead of anyone else in the team as far as intelligence goes, he goes on runs, can tackle, and pass, but what's around him are clueless, I know it's still early season but if it's not sorted soon we'll be in a relegation battle.

Watched the game over the internet have to say like others that Byram should have started, apparently he is worth six million pounds so should be one of our best players so why he is not on the pitch, I don't care that he may be leaving we need our best players on the pitch especially when you have not won at hone for 11 games.

I just can't see where a win is coming from forget that Brighton were top they were pretty ordinary today and we should have beaten them. can't remember many shots on target in the whole game as a home side we need to do more.

Wood to me looks good in the air but not much else, missed a sitter in the first half which you have to score, unlucky with Cooper and having 10 men but we should have hung on.

On the plus Botaka did very well, like to see him go past people one on one more though. Dallas offered nothing and nor did Buckley Mowatt always looked tired to me and is always taken off because of it, Cook did well but need more from Ademyi in the attacking half.

Might need a centre half on loan if Coopers injury is as bad as it looked, can't trust anybody else long term, disappointing period at the moment we seem to be in a position to kick on when Pearson was around and were wining games, seems to have gone backwards with Cellinos poor decision over away fans and current form still think we need to give Rosler longer but bottom line is we need to win games especially at home.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

17 Oct 2015 15:25:43
I do actually think the formation is right, Rosler just hasn't got us playing the right way to utilise it. Suffering from a severe lack of goals and service from the wings and midfield, Wood and Ant have been fed scraps and too many of their goals have been individual brilliance rather than team work.
I praise Cellino for trying to stick to his word for a change and not fire the manager after a bad game or two but its getting to be more than a game or two now. If we don't pick up 6 points out of today and the next two games its time to move on. Uwe just doesn't look cut out to manage at this level right now, he was my 10th or so choice when we hired him, move him out and someone like Hasselbaink, who has got an average Lg2 team firing and up to the Lg1 playoff places in a season and a bit, in for me.

17 Oct 2015 15:23:37

17 Oct 2015 14:17:49
Charlie Taylor injured. Very disappointing. Wooten instead of Byram for me is bizarre. Also, can someone please tell me what's going on with Casper Sloth. We signed loads of players last season of various qualities, and many totally unknown. But Casper came with some sort of pedigree, and I expected him to be a good signing for us. But it's not happened. He's not really been given a chance in the first team, so has he shown in training that he just isn't up to it?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

17 Oct 2015 14:57:53
Both Cellino and Rosler have said they like Sloth and that he is one for the future. I can only assume that he must be struggling to get to the levels of strength and fitness the English league demands or adapting to the style of play in the championship. If so, in either case, i'm not really sure why we haven't let him go out on loan to league 1 like Erwin. At 23 he needs game time to make steps forward or he is going to end up stagnating in the reserves.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 Oct 2015 13:06:21
MR Rose all you had to say this week was "We have worked hard in training and I think the fans will see that" If we lose today and it's the same inept performance as the one against Birmingham and you will hear people's response at full time. Your days as coach will be numbered. Mr Celine how dare you stop people watching the team they love. If there is to be a boycott then it would be the fans call. The one thing the club has is it's supporters who are second to none. I have tried all week to get a ticket for today's game, only to be told that my password was incorrect. I e-mailed the club and was given a new password yesterday, to late to get a ticket sent out. So I'll have to get a match day ticket at the more expensive rate. I am sat on the train wondering if I am wasting my time, going to watch a club who have lofty ambition of finishing FOURTEENTH. Why do we bother. Oh yeah WE ARE LEEDS.

In another sorry week for our club where the manager and chairman have hopelessly misread the dreams and enjoyment of the fans, where will it all end. If Cellino really wants to hurt sky a better way would surely have been to reduce to 2000 or even refuse any allocation for away games involving Leeds United on sky. What sky hate most is putting on events with row upon row of empty seats or to half empty stadiums. Why would reducing a potential sold out 7000 allocation at for instance Blackburn Rovers when the game possibly isn't even on sky. This example would send no message what so ever to sky but just prevent 5000 Leeds supporters from watching their beloved team. Our away following is the one true positive of our club at the moment, how can a chairman so misread this situation is beyond belief. As a regular away follower these games always produce good memories be it the atmosphere in the pub before the game or the half time singing at MK Dons or on the pitch 3 points at Derby. Cellino is wrong with this and the consequences could be far more reaching than he realises.

So now we have two guys who do not have a clue how to give a press conference. I can understand Cellinos point about match days being switched all the time, twice already this season I have booked time off work to travel and the day has changed. Limiting away tickets is not the answer though. This will not bother Sky or the FL, as long as Sky get the viewing figures and FL get their money. Cellino always wants to fight a battle when the best thing is to sit down with other club chairmen and discuss it, it must affect them as well. A limit should be put on how many times a club should be broadcast. Say once a month to give everyone airtime.
As for Roslers comments, ridiculous. All teams want promotion or a play off spot. He is right we are not automatic promotion candidates but its been proved in past any team can put a run together and get in playoffs. All he has done is take pressure off players who can now under perform whenever. He has told them they are not good enough, will they come out fighting to prove him wrong, doubt it. If they do we can be in top ten easy but its all about belief and hard work, he just put a big dent in both.
Certainly missing Pearson, who I hope comes back when he has sorted his affairs out. But meantime need to sort some one who can deal with media and Cellino needs to think again about limiting away tickets.
