West Ham youngster Dylan Tombides has died from testicular cancer. sad. RIP

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Dylan sadly lost his 3yr battle against testicular cancer, regarded the best young prospect to come out of Australia since kewell / viduka.

RIP Dylan

We will find out tomorrow if our luck really has changed and we can finally win away at barnsley. note to brian don't play kebe pal.

ConLUFC
I'm not a kebe fan but I think it's time we lay off BMD and ALL the players.
They have NO excuses now from takeover/unpaid wages etc. Get behind EVERYONE and if they don't cut it in the next 6 months then ship them out ;)

Can't remember to be truthful but haven't our last few games away at the coal yard been in the evenings?

We only beat Blackpool in mid-week games so maybe a Saturday will see us muller the. Like they have done to us the last few seasons.

I wouldn't play any of the loan players. Why bother? I know we can't put out a team of kids as we need to be fair to the other clubs down the bottom but a couple would make sense

Looking at crowds today says a lot when Blackpool had biggest crowd (16000) I know it's derby game but if other teams are getting lower then Blackpool how can they meet ffp rules there's no chance crnt see any championship team getting a transfer embargo because that would be more then half of league. Even when we are playing poor football over 20k with trying best fans in the world MOT.

Can someone help me out it may have been mentioned before ED normally knows everything.

MC ownes two clubs at the moment could he bring players over to Leeds on a free transfer and visa versa get rid of a few of ours. If he does it would only involve a signing on fee and discussion about wages. I don't know how this will stand with Uefa rules.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I would imagine the perspective new owners of Cagarli would not be best pleased let alone the fans in his home town

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm sure the Cagliari fans would love to have Hunt, Wootton & Stewart playing for them every week and they can have all of them for free ( please MC make it happen )

Agree0 Disagree0

Cant see him getting a buyer if he asset strips thhem

Seeing guidetti rumour getting stronger recently!? I think worth a punt for sure.

Also seeing fester looking at Ross and byram! Whatever the price, even £12m like one rumour said.don't sell! You never get anywhere selling your top plums! The saying everybody has a price is nonsense.only if the owners want them to have a price!

Look at Liverpool. could have took £40m for suarez and where would they be without him whereas spurs dud cash in for £85m and now look at them.don't sell your beat players at any cost!

If MC is as rich as people say on here why should we sell? We should be building a team around Ross and byram and getting rid of dead wood!

MOT!

Very good argument mate.

Look at Burnley sold jay Rodriguez and Charlie Austin now they are getting promoted.

SDLUFC

Agree0 Disagree0

Sort of agree but the big question is whether the players want to stay. Once a player decides he wants to leave there's no point keeping him no matter how good he is.

Interesting question for all. If you could have any three players from OLearys squad who would you take to play in current team? My 3 are. Viduka. Dacourt. Woodgate. Martyn just missed out to Woody, but it was a close call. Just think those 3 would make the biggest impact on this current team. MOT.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Good choices Cork. I always thought Olly was top drawer. Remeber him owning Patrick Viera on a midweek match at ER. Can't do any better than your choices but would throw Bowyer and Bridges into the mix and Dom simply for his goal in Milan.

Dom Matteo in the San Siro etc.

Kewell batty viduka . I no kewell betrayed us but was quality player

Agree0 Disagree0

Michael Bridges now there was a player! If it wasnt for injuries could of been an all-time Leeds and England great. That boy had the lot. Always remember his hatrick against Southampton. Pure class. MOT.

Agree0 Disagree0

Corkwhite re M Bridges I defo concur on that. Even at Carlisle his contribution to the game was class at times even though he laboured around the majority of the time. Shame what happened because like CW says could of been another Leeds legends!

Agree0 Disagree0

Radebe, dacourt, keane! Build around a solid spine! Legends! Was always a massive fan of Harte, kewell, bowyer too!

Agree0 Disagree0

Galatasaray aside I still wouldn't pick Kewell. He never took his defensive responsibilities seriously and often left Harte exposed. Could be a match loser as well as a match winner.

Have to go with CORKWHITE!

Viduka - Was a great forward only have to say "Liverpool" gave his all and never bbq on this club - A true gent

Dacourt - For me one of the best players in that squad, gifted footballer

Woodgate - When fit was one of the best defenders in the world let alone England

Happy days because there was several others that could have been picked - what a team we had then

Batty

Pretty new to this site. Do not think any of the players are safe if the right bid comes in for them because Massimo is looking at a complete overhaul over the next two years, he wants to be going into premiership with a team that can compete. Expect an Italian defender or two and Avelar from Cagliari, (Brazilian midfielder). He likes to buy young players with potential and expect some south American players to come in. Might get some loans from premier clubs with options to buy. Could speculate on lots of players but think a budget of 20mill and whatever we make off sales will easily get us back to premiership

Right, nothing much going on so a simple answer is all that is required.

BMD IN OR OUT FOR NEXT SEASON?.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

For me it's out i jumped throuhgh hoops when he signed thought he would be a revelation here at leeds but it's become obvious he can't meet the club and more importantly the fans expectations leeds is far to big a job for him even in the state we have been we need a youthful manager that's got fressh ideas and not draconian like weve had in past either gus or roberto or someone like theses with passion and flair please for me

Agree0 Disagree0

In for me. I don't see how anyone can really make a judgement based on the past year. I'll make a judgement at Christmas or maybe February when he's been able to sign his first choice players rather than compromise options and had some time to put together the team he really wants without a club meltdown hanging over him.

He's got a good record in this league, some of his early signings are looking better (Murphy, Smith, IMO Hunt is a better team player than a lot on here seem to think) and I don't think any of us can really appreciate what he's had to put up with.

Agree0 Disagree0

In for me, you've said it all Axeman.

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree with AXEMAN. I've slagged BmD when I've been frustrated at crap performances but looking back we only know HALF of what they've been through.

ALI LUFC -Where I don't disagree with your statement, unfortunately everyone has their price. Football, whether we like it or not, is a commercial business. The vast majority of teams ultimately will sell their best players to the highest bidder. The difference being, is the appetite of the club to reinvest that money, which is something that Leeds have not done in a long, long time.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

True. The problem is it never is invested back into the team. Even if it is, it's a gamble whetehr the replacement is going to be able to handle the pressure of expectation and gel in the team quickly or not? Unfortunately this gamble never seems to pay off for leeds e.g becchio and Morison, snodgrass and varney, gradel and Pugh, Johnson and Kilkenny for brown. While 10 million might seem like a sensible offer for Ross, he is worth more than to that leeds for the simple reason that we know he is good enough for leeds and can handle playing for our club.

Mornin guys and gals, not been on for a couple of days and just been reading what's been going on. We are are Leeds and we all have our opinions, really don't understand some of the negative comments. Andy gets slated for passing on some info and Jeff is being witch hunted again. Come on people its a rumour banter site, let's be United

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I agree with you buddy I have been saying ages it's a rumor site. Many of the bullies on here need to get a life have a chill pill and stop persecuting individuals. It's really putting me off reading stuff on here.
We are Leeds and supposed to be marching on together not picking on the fat kid!

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi Vid, it's not a witch hunt, I was just responding to a comment Survivor put way down the list about me as he obviously wants to air his dirty laundry in public, so I'm giving him what he wants. It clearly makes the guy look like a self publicist. Jeff, unfortunately, know no more (probably less) than anyone else on here. You would laugh at some of the drivel he has texted me. I am not a malicious person so I won't repeat them and wish Jeff well in his own little world but I for one won't be commenting on him again.
So, happy bank holiday one and all especially the Irish boys and girls on this site (go Mayo) and here's to a banging head come Tuesday morning!

Rumours and banter site it is. Not let's make up a load of BS site! I can understand a teenager with all his hormones making up rubbish but a mature adult doing so is just sad and pathetic. Some people just seem to enjoy the attention it brings and even though it really shouldn't anoy me, it does. I think we all enjoy a laugh and some banter but we should all be past the stage of "my cousin plays scrabble with Massimo and he told me . " crap. Anyway, its a beautiful day here in Cork so i'm off for an afternoon of golf and banter with my good friend David Haigh! MOT.
