What game did you watch. third time ever England have won their opening game, they played with passion against 11 men in their own half and a ref on the pay role. There are no boring players in this squad young and vibrant and thank goodness we have moved away from the addige " he's not ready for international football"
I may get shot down because there are too many half empty glasses around, but i for one feel more optimistic this world cup than I have for a very long time. Come in England ⚽🥇

Wat planet you on Dougie? They made hard work of a useless team. Weak in the tackle, long ball, stationary, clueless. U watch teams like Egypt, Peru, Iceland, Mexico, Spain, Portugal etc etc etc etc! That’s how you play the game. That’s passion. Just proves to me the only reason the prem league is so strong is cause of foreign players and managers.

Think we controlled 80% of the game. Finishing let us down. Think Rashford needs to start as Sterling has poor judgement and Lyndegard finishing was really poor. Would prefer Dier to Mcguire but overall pretty good team. Nearly saved the pen as well.

Wow, I think the Tv's in Australia showed a different game Ausman ! Useless ! My arse. Frustrating Yes, our play in the first half was the best of the tournament so far but let down by the finishing. Tunisia got their break and defended and closed down to take a point from the game, not sure the passion from Egypt, Peru, Iceland etc would have broken that down. If you watched Spain in the later stages, they were knackered and stationary, that's why Portugal got back into the game. You need to switch TV providers

Aus You need to be hacked again or quit the Babycham. England played well first half. Tunisia no mugs. Most of their players come from France, their coach knows what he's doing and they ranked only 9 below England. A win is a win dude. Weak links for England are goalkeeper. I prefer Butland. Walker fast but is not a defender in truth. I'd prefer to see us accommodate Rose. I'd also like to see Lingo who can't score in brothel dropped for Rashford and you play him up top and tell Sterling to drop deeper in Lingo role. We are quarter final material and could go further with rub of green. So Aus you are in the minority.

Kane one was a penalty but commentators called for a penalty everytime the ball went near him. But a fair result and hopefully they improve as things progress

If the Tunisian penalty was fair then we should have had at least 2. I have a feeling we could, if we get the rub of the green, go further than the quarters. Who knows? It's a funny old game :)

In case you guys haven't hears . Ausman probably hasn't seen the game. It's all eing streamed over there and the provider can't cope. has had to shut up shop for 2 days to try and fix the problems.

What do people think of this potential starting 11 next year with some of the names we have been linked with. Bielsa 3-3-1-3 formation. Gunn Jansson Bartley Foyth Ayling Forshaw Alioski Saiz Wilson Vydra P. Hernandez Interested to hear people's thoughts? Who would you put in instead?

There's no RV which is criminal. RV for Saiz more steel in midfield. Apart from that quite good Southern. Can't play Saiz and Vydra together. Vydra is a number 10. I hope P Hernandez replaced by A Hernandez up top. We could have a very strong bench this season. Will need to be made out of titanium 😄

True about RV, I think him and Forshaw could be interchangeable really in defensive midfield. It will be very physically demanding to play that role. As for vydra, I don't think we will sign him to play in that role in the formation. I thik saiz could flourish in that position with no defensive responsibility and complete freedom to attack. I guess this is the dilemma Biesla has just now, Vydra or A. Hernandez because I can't see us signing both.

Southern I see RV more developing into the creative role with a range of passing and shooting, ie the McAllister type. Defensive midfield not his strength in my opinion.

We'll have to wait and see what Bielsa wants to utilise him for. I'm not sure he's quite got the range of passing just yet but I'm happy to be proven wrong!
