question for all & to fl
if cellino fails fl fit & proper test
how the hell did gfh pass it!!?
they've lost £14m in less than a year and cannot find the money to run the club!
how did they prove to the fl that they were fit & proper?!
cellino has ran a club for 22 years yes with some problems but has made money at it!
i know who i'd want in charge?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Unfortunately the FL don't know what 'common sense' means, let alone 'fit and proper'.

They will do whatever they can to stop this takeover as they know it will give Leeds a real chance of getting back to the premiership.

Lets just hope Cellino starts to use some of that money on a legal challenge to them! They will soon back off when money is required to fight a non existant case.

All we need do is cite the GFH fiasco which THEY DID approve!

Agree0 Disagree0

Absolutly agree with you mate, they need to understand they must treat every club the same. Which they aren't doing with leeds

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont think there is any way the FL can block the takeover, but what they will do is make it as prolonged, difficult and irritating as possible. Cellino will win out in the end and we will have the satisfaction of knowing how annoyed and frustrated the FL will be, stew in your own juices boys, we won't be under you for long MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

The FL will NOT do anything to prevent the takeover don't be so ridiculous. Another neurotic Leeds fan. They are doing proper checks on his company and his finances that is all.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with the last poster. This persecution complex is pathetic and embarrassing for the grown ups amongst us. The FL will be treating this takeover in exactly the same way as all others under the same set of rules.

Let's be honest, Cellino probably merits a little bit more scrutiny than most would be owners and if he and GFH have failed to deliver the proper documents then that is not the FL's fault. I'm pretty sure the FL have been very clear about what documentation is required so what we should be questioning is why these documents still haven't been provided? What are they trying to hide?

Who said take the fa to court and why couldn't cellino take the football league to court, if they prevent him from carrying out his lawful business. The league don't want to see leeds succed, FACT

Anyone seen this Robbie mcdaid play, sounds like the deals nearly done. Brian likes his Irish players so here's hoping this is the start of this scouting network he's put in place

Looks like we are getting a prem standard goalie, Gomes or Butland. I for one am happy we are looking there. Just wondering which other players fans would like to see (even ones that appear to be out of reach and out of our wage structure).

Rodwell
Wickham
Gnarby
Miyachi
Albrighton
Gueye

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Are either of them actually prem srandard? Lol doubt theyd b leaving if they wer rhe reading youngster fir me we had on loan or kasper prob best in this league anyway

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd of been happy keeping Kasper, certainly not Paddys biggest fan so some competition would be nice.

Would expect a keeper loan to go straight to number one so best be right decision as Bri will get strung up.

Agree0 Disagree0

Givens loan is up after the weekend, 9 clean sheets in 15 games, not too bad

Agree0 Disagree0

Alex McCarthy is head and shoulders above every other Championship keeper (and many of the Premiership keepers for that matter), he would be perfect!

Agree0 Disagree0

Original poster here, may be shouldn't have said prem standard . opens up too many debates.

Regardless, agree with the last poster, Alex McCarthy would be great, David stockdale would be another other choice, however I would really like to see Carson (waiting for the predicatable "look forward" and "no ex players"comments.) back. I don't think he was given a proper stint in the team and I always rated him.

I would also like to see Carson back. I think the ex player rule is different for goalkeepers.

Agree0 Disagree0

Who Frank Carson?

Probably get some abuse for this but to be honest, quite welcome Cellino's Takeover (provided McDermott isn't treated like that again). 1. Financial stability as its fairly dire at the moment. 2. His daughter is sensational

Aaron

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Agree with you about his daughter, she's absolutly stunning. I most certainly would

Agree0 Disagree0

If you think his daughter is stunning you need to get out more!

Agree0 Disagree0

She is most certainly not stunning. Six-inches of make-up and an expression like she's currently being tasered? No thanks.

Can anyone explain how QPR can continue to sign players on large wages while projecting to loose £70million? What happened to the fair play rules?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

They still exist, but they are taking the gamble, if they get promoted there will have to be a fine based on the losses they face. Although certain things are excluded so the 70m deficit is likely to be reduced.

If they are not promoted then they may be in a position where they no longer require to make any transfers as they have used this season to bolster the squad? If they fail to reach promotion with those loses they will be issued with a transfer embargo starting January 2015

Agree0 Disagree0

I do hope they don't go up. Harry will soon be off to under achieve somewhere else after spending stacks of money!

Mad Mick

Agree0 Disagree0

Redknapp is the most overated manager in England. Spends until the money has dried up then buggers off elsewhere.

Agree0 Disagree0

I really like redknap think he's a good manager

Agree0 Disagree0

He is when he can spend loads of dosh. I think I could get QPR promoted with the bucks he's spent. They should be out of sight in this league. Their bench is worth more than most Championship team's first 11

Agree0 Disagree0

Redknapps having a mare this season amount of money they've spent and regarding financial fair play I think u get 3 seasons after relegation to get everything in check because obviously u could have players on contracts on lots of money I maybe wrong though

Agree0 Disagree0

Didn't Harry do this Portsmouth aswell?

Agree0 Disagree0

Never thought rednap was great dodgy cockney self preservation has been everything with all his clubs won't go anywhere they havn, t got money and as soon as things go wrong it's everyone else's fault as he skips off down the road to another club . Good old Harry, I think not.

If Shaun Harvey has anything to do with this FL Approval business, Would'nt it surely be a conflict of interest on his part considering he was relieved of his duties ar Lufc recently?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Where's the conflict of interest when as you've said, he doesn't work for LUFC any longer?

Agree0 Disagree0

He is busy working his socks off

has cameron stewart returned or can we just not afford his wages and mccdermott prefers kebe

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed013's Note - He is back for the Boro game}

Cheers mate

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed013's Note - No worries}

It was explained why he had gone back to Hull, so why did you suggest otherwise. ?

Agree0 Disagree0

I hadent heard he had come back and I know we had trouble paying wages

Agree0 Disagree0

"You know we had trouble paying wages" Yet you're not aware that in reality he never actually "went" anywhere. It's a technicality which I have explained in much details but basically this way he only missed last match (Derby) rather than missing the last four.

Misses one game and "technically" returns to parent club and then can play three games he would miss due to the 93 day loan period been very literal.

Agree0 Disagree0

A very poor decision by McDermott. As soon as I saw the lineup I was shocked that we made that decision. Against a team with pace, we lose the only bit of pace we've got

Agree0 Disagree0

True wum, I'd of liked to see young Ariyibi given a chance, but obviously one for the future pace is bang on by all accounts.

we lose the only bit of pace we've got for one match and gain three, if he's important it was a genius decision considering the emergency loan situation and we've hopefully a young winger who can grow with the team for a bit in the next year.

How can it take so long to check our takeover, but the Fulham one appeared to happen quickly?that bloke has gone through 2managers already.how us that fair?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I don't remember any other takeover being delayed like this in the past. The football league don't normally scrutinise the owners as much as this. Look at the owners in the premier league for proof. Come on FL speed it up

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed013's Note - GFH from Bates?}

It took 2 weeks for Abramovich to be signed off at Chelsea.

Agree0 Disagree0

Did over takeovers happen quickly or were we just not aware of them until they were nearer completion?

Had we not been aware of any sale until gfh and Cellino exchanged contracts/cash (t'other week) and fl confirm fit and proper within five days would that be a suitable or similar time scale to other takeovers?

Got speaking to robbie today an he played in a behind doors game for us against Wednesday an scored twice told me his mind has been made an will b signing a two year deal told me bmac is a gentle man an massimo is a header lol

Norn iron white MOT

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Was trying to work out who'd played today as no fixtures/results, was thinking behind closed doors.

4-1 sounds like a good result depending on what the squads were like, seems like a good prospect.

Any mention of other trialists?

Agree0 Disagree0

Two strong side put out today said bmac was there for a short while but had to head off early has he was heading to the Chesterfield Fleetwood game rumours round TA today that he's going to scout tommy lee an jimmy ryan didn't mention anything about other players on trails said ariyibi is lightning quick an said hell hell be the man to full gradels boots easy
