Just watching Hellas play Lazio to see what Moise Kean is like. If the man has had 5 touches I would be exaggerating. Maybe he's having an off day but the game is starting to open up so maybe he will show some deft touches. Right now It's really showing up his clips on youtube. On those he looks the real deal. Having said that Hellas are defending most of the game.

Maybe a forward looking 4-1-4-1 on Weds. Bera, Pontus. Coops, DeBock Viera. Forshaw, Saiz, Hernan, Dallas. Lasogga. I know we can do it. That second half display hopefully showed the players that they can do it. MOT

Observations from Sunday. Forgetting the dreadful first half, Bristol are the luckiest team in the division. Every time I have watched they seem to be saved by the post or bar. Philips dive (and it was) was the same dive that won Sheff a pen. Shirt pull does not get more blatant than on Lassogga. let's start Wed as we finished Sunday.

Is it just me or did Sacko look better against Bristol? Seemed to have something. His initial touch was good and his pace dragged two or three defenders across every time. Looked more of a threat than Alioski has for a while. A few games to see if he can provide the final decent pass/cross or finish himself might be in order. Given our position and players available he might be worth a go. Just coming off the bench for 20/30 minutes maybe.

Guys please please stop with the Sacko stuff. If he had a good touch, if he could cross, if he could pass! Heβs a professional footballer for gods sake he should be able to do all those things as they are basic footballing skills. Two goals in 48 games tells its own story, he has had plenty of opportunities, he is a Division Two player at best, simply not good enough.

Unfortunately I don't think there is an alternative to Weidweld at the moment. Lonergan is no better at crosses and other balls into the box and he is not as good a shot stopper. The young keeper needs time to see if he can improve enough to be considered. Not nearly ready yet.

Think away from home against top 6 teams play 4411, with Saiz or Hernandez behind Lassie or Ekuban, Dallas swapping/alternating sides of a 3 man midfield. With Hernandez/Saiz covering the other side when not in possession. Got to keep it tight, give nothing away and try and nick one when we have some of the ball, try and play on the counter and feed some ball on the ground through to Lassie, with a few chances he could score ( although not a UK type centre forward for his size, he does know where the net is )

Any ideas on starting xi for derby game. Think we shouldn't get too carried away with the team that finished the game . The game plays out different when a team is defending a 2 goal lead and a team chasing . It doesn't reflect a starting team at 0-0 aaa game plays out different. However I do feel we need now more crosses coming in to Lassoga and I feel Maybe Hernandez And sako wide with Saiz off Lassoga with Foreshaw in central mid but I dunno who alongside . Does Anita maybe move to his best position in CM and Berardi comes back at RB

I'd like to say this whole foreign manager foreign players argument surely is absolutely nonsense . Let's look at the facts Man City chelsea arsenal have all won titles with foreign managers primarily foreign players . Teams who have won the champ league have got multi national players . Wolves Fulham all doing well with foreign manager and players The England national football team all English players and they haven't shone at all .

Mighty Not at this level it isn't nonsense. Championship football more hustle and bustle than PL necessitating different play and tactics. Also, don't know if you checked but it's fairly obvious a foreign manager will win the PL given the vast majority of managers there are foreign. No English manager has ever won it. Wilko last top flight winner when it wasn't the PL. As for championship, I believe in this decade only Benitez and Ranieri won it as foreign managers. The rest were from British Isles. I definitely believe in the whole British thing to achieve promotion.

now compare that to a typical man city team. goalkeeper, brazil, rb english, cb argentina, cb english, lb brazi, midfield, german, spanish, belgium, rw english, lw german, st argentine. in their team there's 6 nationalities, in ours there's 9 but 4 of them are british and in interviews, lasogga, jansson, pablo, anita have all spoken clear crisp english, infact anita used to joke when he first signed at how different the accents are. completely disagree with your point. look at real madrid. costa rican keeper, spanish rb and cb, french cb, brazil lb, german, croatian, brazil midfielders, porutgal, welsh and france strikers. languages mean nothing when you speak to these players day in day out both in and out of training.

Just no relevance, the team haven't been doing well due to a lack of grit and desire, not because they're not all from yorkshire that's rubbish. you cannot blame radz or orta for looking abroad. in the top two leagues in england, how many of the top goalscorers, managers, goalkeepers are english? that's where the talent is now. The only reason they come to england is because it has the most money in football, its ruined english football but it means we have to cherish the english youth even more when we get it, something leeds haven't in years gone by.

My prediction 'Hoping for a win' lasted about nine minutes and didn't return until another hour had gone. In between my 'head ' prediction' a loss' seemed nailed on. The play was the about the worst I've seen. At times the defending was so bad it was almost funny, the passing was awful and we created little. At this point I was expecting another four or five goal defeat. However, with the crowd reminding the team that they were going to win the league and after the worst two minutes of defending i have by Leeds things suddenly picked up. I have always been impressed by lasooga's finishing and he came good again. He's not that much different from Wood although he is abetter all round finisher. Wood tended to awful then out of the blue score. Fans seem to forget how bad he was apart the goals. I have always wondered if he could keep doing that. Lassoga in a good team will score heavily. tHe first goal was initially Weidweld fault for missing the punch but for the four or five seconds afterwards the rest of the defence stood around like tress. Very Poor. Second goal - We knew what was coming and still couldn't deal with it. Poor again. We have players to come back in to the team. I hink Cooper has a bit more presence than Pennington but let's be honest he's not great in dead ball situations. Similarly, although Forshaw was good there was not much else in mid field. At times like that I hear fans calling for Vierra but he has been poor for awhile. Phillips is anonymous and reckless at times. O' Kane very average. Dallas was ok and Hernandez was good at times but poor at others. The squad is not good enough and 9th - 12th finish at the end of the season is about right. My last prediction 'probably a draw' came good but heaven knows why.

The team i think will play wednesday: in goal, wied will be given a final chance, and then i think hecky will look to youth in summer. Bera will slot in at RB nicely, alongside jansson for definite, and then i get the impression hecky really likes pennington, but i think he knows the designated captain shoudl be reinstated. So coops alongside jansson in the middle, and de bock on the left. Again, one for the summer denton will come good and give competition for spots alongside berardi for LB and ayling will be cemented back in RB. Wied, Bera, Jansson, Coops, De bock, the midfield i think he will go back to a 433. He will undoubtedly play forshaw, i think hernandez will come in next to him on the left of the midfield 3, and phillips or vieira on the right, okane was given another opportunity and blew it. Phillips will start IMO, then your front 3 will be saiz lasogga, roofe. obvious enough 2 goal scorers and our best player. to recap, wied, bera, ajnsson, coops, de bock, forshaw, hernandez, phillips, saiz, lasogga, roofe.

I thought the team played well for 30 minutes yesterday. Without our best player, and 2 of our better defenders, i'd say for 30 minutes of good football against a team who have been up there all season, to grind out a result like that and almost nick it, shows the ability we have. If we had our heads on from the go and we had a leader like coops at the back, we wouldn't have conceded so early yesterday imo. that game would have been so much different at going into half time if it was only 1-0 down, or 0-0. Hecky would have fired them up to get three points and go and make a statement to the league, instead he had to pick their chins off the ground and try and salvage, which for a team who expected promotion, to me is poor. There is a certain motivation fed to this team at half time by hecky i feel, if they can be like that at the start of a game its a different show all together, its keeping them hungry for 90 minutes which we have struggled to due, largely due to suspensions an dinjuries the players that have played become complacent. Tomorrow and tuesday alioski will be working hsi socks off to get into shape and hopefully for him into heckys wednesday night plans. I think we have all forgotten how good saiz was at the start of the year, and when he's back on wednesday night putting richard keough on the floor i will be the first to laugh. Big momentum shift coming i feel, and at the start of the season, who could actually stop us? get it right and hecky may just go down in history, there are a lot of the top 8 teams still to play eachother, even this week you have fulham v bristol on tuesday villa v preston on tuesday, us v derby, these are the season defining games.

Disagree about Cooper no better than a squad player and certainly not a leader he's liability like several others in this squad, he should have been stripped of captaincy after his second sending off, the crowd won Leeds a point yesterday not Heckingbottom and that's not a dig at him only time will prove what's he capable of with this squad we have a situation in the Summer where certain players need moving on and that might be hard on the long contracts most of them seem to be on. The keeper is so poor he shouldn't be making a living out of the game there must be keepers in league 1 and 2 better than him.

My view: I went to the cardiff game and milwall game with my dad, i'm only 18 and i live in hull so no chance any of my mates are leeds fans, but i said to him, why does it take us to go 2/3 goals down before we get going. Ill be honest compared to this time last season when ER was the most frightening home ground in the championship, up there with st james' this place looks flat and dull. We score a goal and its a completely different atmosphere. These players earn good money, i know, but if all they get all week is that they're not good enough, why are they going to want to play for the fans, then you hear a roar like that when lasogga scores, similarly when bamba scored an own goal, and when we went from 2-0 down to 3-2 against milwall. Point is i think we should be behind the team no matter what, some of us are, but some are too quick to judge. they're our team not our enemies, we give them a hard time i know, i guess that comes with wearing the shirt

The positives are the 2nd half, showed some fight and fitness which is a plus. Forshaw, Pontus and Pablo were good and I do like the work Ekuban puts in, he just needs a goal. Lassoga for me is first on team sheet with Pontus at the back and Foreshaw in CM Some sort of spine of a team at the least. Leeds fans when we got behind the team it really paid off.
