Any ideas lads, when was the last time that leeds had 3 scorers in one match with their names ending in vowels, someone asked me this and I did not have a clue.
Someone please reply it would be handy :)

HHaah I said that one, but ithastobe different scorers

1993/4 season, several games with a permutation of Deane, White, Wallace, Rocastle on the scoresheet.

Or most recently (28/09/10), Becchio, Bruce, Somma (2), all different vowels.

Don't know how many signatures the Shaun Harvey petition has got now, but couldn't we arrange for signings outside the ground on a match day, or mass letters to the Football League? Isn't there some rule that when a petition has a certain number of signatures, some action/investigation has to take place, or have I dreamt that?

Good thinking Speedy.I think if a petition gets more than 100,000 signatures and is presented to No 10 by a sponsoring MP, it has to be debated in Parliament. All means possible need to be explored to get rid of Ratfink Harvey. MOT!

Don't want to tempt fate but if we win on Saturday surely Redfern should be given the job.
IMO a big name means nothing. None of us know what the players think of Redfern but they do seem to be playing for him.
A good coach / manager must be able to motivate, pick the right team, and change things when they can see it's needed and so far he seems to have done this.
I wouldn't worry too much about him not being at the academy as you would hope that any first team coach would have a big influence on how it's run anyway and whatever methods he has been using to make it successful would carry on.
(also his salary wouldn't be too high, this would make Cellino happy)

BUT we need to have plenty of patience (and so does MC), because despite the great win the other night, I'm sure there are plenty of downs as well as more ups to come. BUT, there's no likelihood that anyone coming in would do any better the Redders - and all I ask for is someone who a) gets the players giving 100%, b) is not afraid to give the youngsters a chance, c) can make the right tactical changes when things are not going well. Neil ticks all 3 boxes for me. A good win on Saturday and I don't think MC is going to find a better option

We could always keep him on as "care taker" for a year.

For me the job he is doing and the form are related to the fact there is no pressure on him to succeed, just to make the team gel.
He is truly taking it one game at a time and its paying dividends. I don't know when he should be replaced, but we are all saying or hoping "just one more game" .

Without announcing it MC should give him till Xmas. then till the summer, then till. whenever.

I guess what I am trying to say is, why define the relationship. If it ain't broke, then don't try to fix it, let's just see how it pans out.

Agree. If NR wins, how can he not be offered the job? Then there's a vacancy with the academy. Bring back Naylor?

That won't work ds. Players crave certainty and there always comes a time when you just have to make a decision. If NR keeps winning, I'd offer him the job.
