Noorudin was ment to become vice chairman but because leeds are skint he's loaned lufc limited 10 million and for that he gets to be come chairman and no doubt when loans been repaid he will make a nice bit of profit! I'm 100% behind bmd and the team but not gfh and noorudin

By eck some people cannot stop being down and negative. I had the joy of seeing my lad jumping round his bed room with excitement yesterday. Maybe the half empty glassess should fill up on some of his joy and exuberence at yesterdays events.

Luke Murphy could have got more money at Blackburn. The reason he has signed for Leeds is he has been told BMD plans and he knows we are going up MOT {Ed003's Note - That's not true,Derek Shaw said today once they found out what Leeds were offering they had to stop talks as they could not justify the wages.}

He would say that, because LM turned them down to join us

Not posted for ages but today I can finally see light at the end of the tunnel although I suspect the million was raised through morrisons wages not coming out of coffers however for some reason it just made me feel good

Not trying to be negative here, but if this is true, then where is the money for Murphy's wages coming from?

There must be other money coming in as well.

I think albert adomah might be on his way, I think GFH are prepared to spend good amounts if the player can improve to make a sizeable return in value

So Luke Murphy and Matt Smith is a great start for Leeds; despite the loss of Steve Morison.

I feel we still need a central defender to add competition/cover for Lees and Peace. Matt Mills and Reece Wabara favourites.

The club urgently need wide men Tommy Rowe and Cameron Stewart are the names leading speculation.

With the departure of Morison and Somma; I get the impression Dominic Poleon will be looked to make the step up to the first team on a permanent basis to compete with El Hadji Diouf and Ross McCormack with one addition of another striker likely to be Noel Hunt or Kevin Doyle.

Departures are likely to include two/three of the following Michael Brown, David Norris, Rudolph Austin, Danny Pugh and Michael Tonge in order to balance the team.

can anybody remember the last time we paid over a million for a hungry young player with his best years ahead of him. I think it was Ferdinand. please feel free to disagree, I am just not sure.

Rob Hulse was highly rated at the time.

The last £1m player was Richard Cresswell but don't know if he was a hungry young player. JD

It was in the 2005-06 season where we lost in the playoff final to watford and it was Richard cresswell for 1. 15 million

Look We sign a player for 1 mil and everybody's happy as can be. I am too but think about it. If this was another team, say Leicester or notts forest, there would be hardly any celebration. Your not a true football fan unless you've supported the team through all the bad times. If the good times do come from now on, we will appreciate them more than any team in the country. We are grateful for the "small things" but not trying to undermine the sign or anything. Looking forward to this season!

i don't want to be negative because I do trust mcd but last season aston villa bought a load of young players and they didn't do very well because they had no experience

Because that's the premier league, different kettle of fish altogether.

Yeah, and we have the experience.

Austin, McCormack, Green, Warnock and Lees (even though he is young) are all well seasoned.

Put Murphy, Byram, Poleon, Dawson and Smith into the equation and this is a good combination of youth and experience

Have you seen our team. It's full of old codgers. This murphy has played a lot of games even though he's young. Don't worry brain knows how it's done.

Am I being petty or do I have a point?

Just been on the LUFC OS to see a BT advert on the homepage with an Arsenal player (Oxlade-Chamberlain) in, fully kitted, now don't get me wrong I know BT are paying for this advertisement but why on earth would you let another clubs player be on your web homepage?

Personally I think the marketing team have had a stinker here, if you are going to have a football player or team on your own website make it your b***** own not another.

The club sells the page space. Upto the buyer what they put in it!

Obviously there are T+C's which the buyer needs to abide by, for example: no pornographic material; so perhaps, while I totally understand your sentiments, if we were to be petty and demand a Leeds player in those adverts, we would lose out on investments (no matter how small).

BT will be happy with it though because you noticed it. Would you have noticed had it been one of our lads?

Been likened to Frank Lampard, box to box and creates for others around him. Watched him in Playoff final and he strolled through the game and was head and shoulders the best player on show. The commentator never shut up praising him. Comfortable on the ball, brings others into the game and helps defense out. Looks like a winner, so happy he's a Leeds player now. Never heard any so called "in the know fan "tip this one.

Well I for one am happy with the changes so far. Nooruddin as chairman was obvious but also happy with Haigh as MD, I don't mind Harvey staying on the board but I hope his ridiculous salary has now gone.

Despite the doom and gloom merchants and the ones who continually say i'm not going back to ER until. whatever reason. Well I guess that's your choice but for the ones who are desperate to go and can't afford it or live to far away I wish you were able to replace the ones who can afford it but choose not to support the club they say they support! Surely the word supporter means exactly that. McD comes to the club although he's in demand and despite being let down with the transfer budget he was expecting. sees something about our club that's worth fighting for that's worth the effort because of us the fans, so surely if he can see it we who are supposed to love the club owe it to the club owe it to the players and owe it to ourselves to give McD and the players a chance, so maybe we can say we were all there for every game the season we went up to the prem. I already can hear the replies of excuses which is absolutely fine because its your choice, but if you are going to call yourself a true Leeds supporter then support the team, turn up, show everyone who we are and be proud of it! Give McD a chance to prove what he can do

Most of the moaners never come to Elland Road so how can they boycott
