The Mail reporting that the Erwin deal will be finalised when he is back from holiday. I wonder if MC will cancel the deal because he wants him to start playing and scoring goals immediately.

Any idea if Head is back from holiday, because I am sure we ain't appointed anyone yet.

Lol.

Cellino ultimate hypocrite.

From what I understand the Well guy is garbage but would prosper in League 1.

Good point d.s. I think we were all awaiting the non-appointment and knew it was just another self publicising rant by the mighty ego. Even the Cellino lovers amongst us would have to admit that this was a poor excuse even by his crazy standards. Having said that some of them don't believe what they read in newspapers or on websites despite frequenting this site day in, day out?!

Football gone mad!!! Watford get rid of their Manager who won them promotion to the Premiership, then they employ a no mark for more money than their last successful Manager wanted, then they buy an Austrian Defender and pay him stupid money and give him a five year yes 5 year contract!! Relegation favourites for next season, Manager gets sacked and the Austrian defender gets to leave on a free with a pay off. Football clubs run by idiots don't mix, just ask Leeds, Blackburn, Blackpool, Wimbledon and of course Portsmouth. It's about time the FA stopped spending their time wiping the backsides of Man Utd, Man City, Arsenal and the others and started paying more attention to these idiots that want to ruin our Clubs. The way these people walk in and take over with no insight or experience of the traditions and legacy the clubs hold is boardering on criminal! It's our money, our team and our hopes that are squashed by these idiots, then when they are done they cash up and disappear, thanks for that!!

The Blue Cow deal has fallen through due to abuse from Leeds fans.Fred Shuttle worth stated that it was impossible to stay in West Yorkshire after one so-called Leeds fan called his prized cow Daisey a silly old moo and her daughter a heifer. Fred and Mavis have since fled to Salford and are living on the Manchester ship canal aboard a narrow boat named Nellie. With no one to run the Blue Cow the business was put into liquidation but was subsequently rescued by a grey bearded saviour for the sum of £1.00.The deal was brokered by an unknown third party without any sock's on. Daisey and her friend Buttercup have since been sold to a rival company for three magic beans.

Just read we are nearing to signing the chap from Motherwell, Erwin who is apparently a 6ft2 target man upfront. Don't we still have Steve Morison on the books, who actually did well last years towards the tail end of the season, so why do we need another player of the same type upfront.

A second point, if we do sign another "big lad" upfront, this will only lend it self to the same formation that we closed the season out on. Which if I recall, was getting Redders some criticism.

Define. what it means for a striker to. Do well?
Steve Morrison is a striker. Paid to strike. Like score goals
So. What in your opinion suffices a Did well??
Me?? Did well towards the end of season would be scored 5 goals in last 7 games

I wouldn't get too excited about the 'done deal' post on news now. If you read it all, it states that Motherwell are in a two leg play-off game with Rangers this week. Now, I can't be 100% and if I'm wrong I'm off straight down to Corals and putting my life savings on 6-1 aggregate win for Motherwell, but hasn't this game concluded? Lazy journalism again!

My issue wasn't with the signing, just the type of player we are signing. another big man upfront who will do the same job as what we already have. If we end up getting rid of Morison, then so be it, but the team were getting criticised on the tactics being employed.

In my opinion, we should be spending our efforts on signing Bamba and a couple of wingers (McLean and possibly Eagles), then look at the forward line.

With regards to Ausmans commnents, in my opinion "do well" would be whatever his coach / manager has asked him to do. In the games we won, he allowed the midfield to take shape, play off him and at the same time protect the back four a little and Redders was happy. The games we won were from clean sheets and goals from the midfield (Mowatt who I recall got about 7 or 8). So I think he did his job. If he was there to score goals, then fine he didn't "do well" and he will be remembered for the 2 goals in 25 or so fixtures. as opposed to the 2 goals in 3/4/5/6 etc

Ausman Morrison is not a striker, he is a defensive forward, a role made up to justify his selection. My opinion if we played someone who could score goals the last eight games might have been worth paying to see and we would have finished higher up the table.

Ds. Point taken with yet another potential non striking striker!
We should be buying. As you say, wingers. Defensive midfielder and. Please just one proper striker. Ta

Joey Barton - If the rumours of a Premier team sniffing around are true then we have no chance. If not, who knows? Should we buy him? Someone should ask Vinny

Put this post on banter page because it's true not a rumour.
We are not being taken over by Red Bull but by a company called Blue Cow which is a West Yorkshire energy drinks company run by farmer Fred Shuttleworth and his wife Mavis.
The drink is made by mixing milk with crushed viagra (hence the blue colour).
They have three cows which Mavis milks twice a day. They don't produce as much milk as they would like as one is a bull and Mavis is short sighted. (The bull is very happy!)
As I said this is true, because I've got it straight from the horses mouth, (he is called Derek and lives in the field next to the farm);)
