To the first poster, notice you don't mention who u support. Oh and as for Yorkshire and being small, Yorkshire is the biggest county in the whole country that dip stick. Oh Leeds is the third biggest city city not the surrounding areas of a city I might add. Oh and s one city club oh and the first modern day dominant team. Oh and the first team in great Britain to get to every European final. I can go on and on, so unless you support spam, arsenal, and Liverpool got away. Chelsea are making their history now backed by a billionaire their claim to fame before that was beating the mighty whites in fa Cup.

Ha ha ha, lower divison Yorkshire club we maybe, but we are not small, highest gates in the league, best facilities, one club city, and a loyal, devoted, life long fan base. Ed, I think it's very amusing to read the comments from envious fans of other clubs.
Bring 'em on. It would be better sport if they had the balls to reveal their allegiances, though. After-all, there are very few clubs who have achieved as much as Leeds. {Ed020's Note - am not too sure either, but its funny nevertheless to see other supporters taking there time to go out of there way to insult us, probably some envious blades fan!! lol}

From what I've read he could be more trouble than he's worth. Found guilty of rape then aquitted, found guilty of soliciting prostitutes, turned up to a game drunk and abused his coach. {Ed013's Note - I presume you are talking about Dulee Johnson?}

How can you be found gulity and acquitted of anything?

Matt mills will not be coming to Leeds he has along with Pearson rejected the offer from Leeds, Pearseon stated at his pre match interview that Mills will be staying at Leicester for now. Another blow out for lack lustre Bates and co. source News now web.

I'm no bates fan but if a player decides to stay at his current club why does that make bates & co "lack lustre"- are they not trying to bring quality in ?

At least it shows the ambition of the club..! i for one am glad to see Leeds linked with quality players for a change - I hated all the secrecy under Grayson - good on Warnock he's making it public for us all to see his targets

Grayson knew what he was doing. Those of us with half a brain knew that much. You don't take a League One team away to old scaffold and win if you don't know your stuff.

IF Bates backs Warnock he'll do well. If he doesn't he won't. It's as simple as that. Without backing, Warnock won't be able to strengthen the defence.

Any championship club and 5 possibly 8 premier league teams would hav matt mills in their squads. Sven bought him for 5million i thnk. For whatever reason hes fallen down the pecking order and i say neil and ken should be smashin the door down for the player.

Yes leeds are a big club and shouldnt be used as bargaining tools But the transfer market is run by advisors and manchester city. Id rather leeds signed a player that Thought aBout how proud how was pulling on the White shirt and nt pickin up the pay cheque

Apparently the latest is that no more signings are likely by the weekend! Meanwhile I hear Middlesbrough make a quality signing in Adam Hammill on loan from Wolves.

Seems to be the same old story yet again. We are promised signings yet we bring nobody in of any real quality.

If Bates/Harvey don't start walking the walk I fear we may go down next season, I honestly believe that. This season might as well end now for us. Just imagine what Southampton could do to us if we don't improve the defence by Saturday!

No doubt people will say I'm being too negative, but it's really becoming a joke. There was no point sacking Grayson if Warnock is going to have to work in the bargain basement too. I'm aware it's not easy to bring quality in at this stage of the season, but look what Middlesbrough have managed to do today. We never seem able to do it. I don't think we'll reach the play-offs this season, but it's imperative that we at least make every attempt. We need to convince our better players that next season we will be better equipped, and we need to make a statement of intent to the fans who currently stay away.

We need QUALITY and we need it now. It's high time the standard of signings at Elland Road was more in line with the standard of ticket prices. Before you start spouting, yes I'm a Season Ticket holder.

You can go on and use expletives like "FFS" all you want. If Bates and Harvey don't show some proper ambition this summer, if not now, we'll be looking at attendances under 15000 at Elland Road next season. I like Warnock - nobody's on his back, that should be obvious.

If you supported Leeds back in the 1980's you will know that for the majority of that decade the club messed about trying to achieve promotion "on the cheap". It didn't work.

A new manager came in the form of Howard Wilkinson, and suddenly he was backed by Leslie Silver and co. It worked.

I'm not talking about lavish, ridiculous spending. We know we've been there. But the lessons are there in the history of our own club. We didn't win promotion to the top division with the likes of Ronnie Robinson and George McCluskey, just as we won't with the likes of Ben Parker and Billy Paynter.

This summer is of extreme importance to the club. We - or Bates and Harvey to be precise - have to get it right.

Im the third poster look i'd like the club to be backed just as much as the next leeds fan! i think warnock will stay next season but want to see the support of the fans as well as the board and yes he does read up on the leeds forums as he said he did b4 he took the job to see what support he had b4 makin a decision lets get behind the team im sure warnock has told the board that he needs to be backed or may not have taken the job otherwise i really hope we stuff soton saturday and hope to god that we are all in good spirits come sat evening then and maybe then will we maybe able to attract some decent players for the push to the end of the season!
