Even the commentators on tv mentioned how bad kebe was and how quite Stewart was, come on bmc it's plain to see

Believable0 Unbelievable0

BMC has to go, he is inept and totally one dimensional, we will never reach the Prem with him on charge . His loyalty to Kebe, his refusal to play Byram should get him the sack forthwith

Agree0 Disagree0

Byrams not 100% think it was hamstring, he's had a few niggles this season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree Kebe was total pants, but I thought Stewart had a bit better game today?

Can someone, possibly Ed, shed some light on what's happened to Zaliukas? Pre Sheffield Wednesday he was a rock! Must be more to it than meets the eye.

I appreciate he was pretty awful against Wednesday, but still, we all have our off days.

Also heard the rumour that he was drinking the night before, which would explain the lot.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed013's Note - He was hungover at the game so Brian has punished him. He is on his way back though and will be given another chance}

01 Mar 2014 23:04:25
Bmc said we should of won today, yes we should of if we had 11 players, kebe brings us down to 10 and Stewart to 9, so 9 against 11 we are never going to win, kebe has to go back and Stewart can we release him also or are we tied into buying him?

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes I agree I think he must be related somehow as he's got to be our worse player yet he's still in the team like u said its like playing with 10 men sick of it

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2014 21:36:08
In all seriousness I personally think kebe should be sent back to his parent club stewart did show a bit of heart but I also think the same for as kebe if I was bmd i'd bring in gylfi sigurdsson an then bring in to wingers that's willing to put balls in the box an has bags of pace ain't afraid to run at r take their man on

This be my tree traders

Believable0 Unbelievable0

First post, ever anywhere, sorry kebe has to go causes more problems for us than the opposition, Stewart not quite so bad and has age on his side but at present bot good enough, replace these two, bring in a younger left back with a bit of pace and a playmaker in midfield , walk the league then.

Agree0 Disagree0

Have to agree. Ed please shed some light, was part of the Stewart loan that we bought him in the next window? Hope I'm wrong.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed003's Note - Think it was mate.}

Stewart has signed for next season as he was out of contract, we could only bring him in on the 93 day loan (with gap in between) till then.

Kebe has been loaned under the agreement that if we get prormoted he will sign permanantly.

DS.

Agree0 Disagree0

"Kebe has been loaned under the agreement that if we get prormoted he will sign permanantly. "

I seriously hope not, if we get promoted it will be DESPITE Kebe, not because of him.

Some fans are never happy. Today was a very good result. Be proud of the performance stop looking at the poorer things in the team. QPR have a premier league team.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed013's Note - Yes it was and to go away from there feeling gutted that we didn't get the 3 points tells you a lot of things against big spending QPR. I just wish Brian would wake up to the fact that Kebe is terrible!}

01 Mar 2014 18:47:01
I have been sticking by BMD all season and giving him the benefit of doubt with regards to his team selection.

However I cannot understand why he will not give Byram a decent chance. Last season he played close to the entire season and was one of the clubs stand out players, being linked with a high profile move to the premiership.

This year he hasn't featured much. And frankly speaking neither have some of the other younger members of the squad, Mowatt (maybe a little more due to injuries to other older players), Poleon, Dawson etc. I have a weird feeling that BMD has no faith in the younger players. His reluctannce in playing anyone until he has to is potentially costing us points.

I was also giving Kebe with the benefit of the doubt, but I think BMD is sticking with him to the extent he did with Hunt early part of this season. Both old boys from his previous club, who he has loyalties to and I feel if doesn't ditch him, we may suffer.

I will stick by him till the end of the season, and if we make a push for the playoffs will be happy, however if we fall into mid table obscurity it wil be a different matter. However I am of the opinion we need to see progress, there is no hiding now, 2 England internationals signed, another top quality player expected, and the leagues top scorer should mean we are capable for that final push.

Eitherway, 1 point down, 29 to get. Bring on the next oppo

DS

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I can see what you are saying and do agree and I think the reason is because he has signed players so he is sticking by them. Dawson, byram and poleon and maybe diouf( not young but still good quality) deserve more of a chance. I think byram has sustained niggling injuries ever since the warmup before the game against brighton last season. He is a fantastic player but it is clear he has got slight problems

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree. Couldn't believe Byram was on the bench today and Kebe in the team.
With a better team selection and use of subs we could have won today and also beaten middlesborough last week

Agree0 Disagree0

Dawson has only just got back to where he was last season, because of injury. Byram pretty much the same . Polean had plenty opportunities earlier in the season, and isn't[yet] better than what we have got. Diouf is finished at the club, and probably in English football. Give the man a break, and stop trying to do his job ffs.

Agree0 Disagree0

Whether they have had a chance or not, is largely irrelevant, all offer a better option coming from off the bench. If his tactice was to hold the game, then fine. Bring Brown on and nobble someone. If we want to try adn win the game, then you need your bench to change things up. Also what's the point of bringing Byram on on the 94th minute? Unless Pelts was injured, of course, but that ain't going to do his confidence any good.

I have stuck by BMD all season, and this is the first negetivish post I have put up. As I have commented before, he is still a young manager and will get better.

As for trying to do his job I am not, I am a fan with an opinion, however it appears you are coach, scout and physio all in one.

Only managed to listen to the game. What happened with Mowatt, the Ref and the free kick right at the end. From what it sounded like, it shouldn't have been a FK if the ref also knocked the player over.
If that is the case then if the goal would have counted it would have been a travesty!

As I say, I only heard, I may be talking out of my, well, you get the picture.

A very good point though, I'd have taken that at 12pm. Playoffs gone now, but a decent run would do us the power of good.

MOT forever! Well done the lads!
Bring on 2014-15 with Mas the Man leading us.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

It was a foul but the trip happened behind the refs back, so he got the decision correct but by guessing. mot

Agree0 Disagree0

Your not wrong. The ref on his ass made it very confusing but I'm even more suspicious of the phase of play before their goal.

Agree0 Disagree0

"but I'm even more suspicious of the phase of play before their goal."

There were at least two offsides during that piece of play!

We must be good. Drawing with QPR with only nine men. Kebe and Stewart don't count.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

01 Mar 2014 16:36:19
I like to give the benefit of the doubt and players the chance to prove they are worthy to play in a Leeds shirt but Jimmy Kebe, the most bruised @rse in the championship, is not worthy to clean the Elland Road toilets, never mind don the shirt of Leeds Utd . Zero contribution, no heart, no fight, no reason to tie up a valuable loan signing place . So why Brian leave him on till the 94th minute? Should have replaced him 90 mins earlier .
Good point but fear a playoff place is out of reach .

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Ive been banging on about this for ages, even my mrs can see he is not even trying. Why take off stewert who isn`t much better, when Kebe just runs away from the ball. It really is becoming a bit odd to understand why he is getting game time.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2014 17:21:00
I have got to agree with you he just doesn't look interested I can only imagine that there is a clause in the loan agreement that states if he's fit he must play otherwise you have to seriously question MCD judgement . I would like to see Sam Byram given a go we know he's got the quality going forward & would give peltier more protection defensively but hey what do I know! MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Shoulda taken him off when we had that free kick in the 85th minute. Awful signing

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2014 15:59:47
Well I watched the game today and think overall a draw was okay.
McCormack's penalty miss was weak but well placed. Still too much "hoof" ball but better play.
Kebe still not good enough at the moment.
We have a lot of work still to do!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

His penalty wasnt well placed at all. watch from behind the goal, wasnt even close to the corner

Agree0 Disagree0

Hey guys, without Ross we would be relegated by now. SORRY BMD YOU MUST GO!

Listening to commentary on Five Live. Clive Allen and Connor McNamara very complimentary about us!

01 Mar 2014 14:45:15
I thought they played well against a strong team. Front 2 r going to be good together. I thought peltier looked good n.pearce is getting better each game same as murphy although gve ball away a few times. 5 games at home in next 7 I fancy us to pick up some points

Agree0 Disagree0

Was good! Just the same gripe I have with the wingers!

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm sure Peter beargrie is a leeds fan

Agree0 Disagree0

Still got to play every team in top seven except Leicester so although we are looking a better side play offs is not realistic.Kebe and Stewart are not up to the job.Great to see players the quality of Butland and Wickham sign but we need that sort of quality next season when promotion is more realistic

Agree0 Disagree0

Well gutted Stewart is going to be a permanent player! Nowhere near good enough! Kebe I just glad we never committed to him!

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2014 13:53:26
Listening to five live, leeds have played well and played some decent football against a good team 1-1 not long to go, tom lees seems to be back on his game again well done bmd got it right football wise today sounds like Conner wickem will do well with Ross as well .

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Yes but the only downside is that we drew a game we should have won. Missing penalties is something you simply can't afford to do at this level.

Agree0 Disagree0

Phew, someone got a gripe in .
Thought we played really well, Wickham definitely gives us real quality in the final 3rd. Pearce outstanding. Hope we can go on a bit of a run now, and see where we are at the end of March .

Agree0 Disagree0

Better than loosing games we should have won which we were doing not so long ago!

Here we go again.
Same old same old nonsense.
Things change by the minute as with every signing there is a wish list of 6 players.
Some are wanted but for 1 reason or another it don't happen.
Yesterday I was with the Rhinos in Perpignan so out of the loop so to speak and although I'm often trusted with the players info I for one can't say anything until the paperwork is being completed and even then sometimes the transfer doesn't go through aka Tabanelli.
Massimo will oversee the purchase of every player.
It's his money and he will spend it.
Last week we were very close to signing a young Chelsea defender but at the last minute the deal failed as the player didn't want to come to Leeds.
His big mistake and not ours.
Jeff

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Mr Cellino will quite reasonably oversee every purchase but does he need to be in the UK to do that?
Only sensible to have more than 1 player you want. As you say there are any number of reasons why deal may not complete. It is not all about money so should always have other players in mind to fill a position. All common sense!

I said I wouldn't but I've decided to make a post.
As you all know especially the Ed I have supported Massimo Cellino since day 1.
Constantly attacked and insulted by so many so called fans.
I find it gratifying that 1 by 1 everyone now seems to agree with me that Massimo might just be the man to turn this fabulous soccer club around.
I was asked to introduce him to the board of Leeds Utd which I did straight away.
Can't say I know for sure how everything will turn out in the long term but I still believe it's the Premiership at the end of next season and with the fans support the Champions League will follow.
Jeff

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Survivor - you have called a lot right, kept us interested and speculating for weeks, hope this post is spot on and the Prem is on in 2 years time.

keep posting mate

Agree0 Disagree0

Italians are passionate and I think cellino can't wait to fire up his rolls royce and drive it to the premiership

Agree0 Disagree0

To be fair Jeff, I and several other posters on here, have held our hands up to that one, you said embrace Massimo and were correct. But as I said to you at the time, security of knowledge is a wonderful thing. Us ordinary mortals saw someone muscling in on a takeover by supposedly "committed Leeds fans", someone who then sacked our manager out of the blue. Subsequent events have proved you right again and shown the other prospective, and current, owners in a true light.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hey Survivor, please don't take things so personally, some people just like to put a negative slant on things. Then there is the WUMs who love nowt better than to upset everything and everyone and our club being a massive club as we ARE the true Champions of England, does attract a lot of unwanted attention.

We fans have been through a lot with our club and all we want is someone to come in and treat our club with the respect it deserves, and they should do the same with us the fans.

Been messed around by GFH on many levels recently, and Bates for years before he sold to GFH. We view any positive news with an err of apprehension.

Looking forward to Cellino FL approval.

MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

The problem is pal whether the info you have is correct or not you offer no real substance and that's why people are giving you grief. What I suggest is that when you post something you stop taking in riddles and give something that the supporters can get their teeth into. Wickham was an obvious singing tell us who you believe the 3rd one is, get it right and people will trust what you say and believe it to be true. If you're also that close to MC then predict when the takeover will be ratified and don't say the 13th just because the FL and said to be reconvening at this time. Good luck to you I for one look forward to your next post not silence. MOT supporter since I was 7 years old. Leigh

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought cellino was asked to look at sheff weds in October, paul hunt heard about this and introduced him to GFH . your post about the 2 old guys in beeston was your biggest mistake from that moment on you could never be taken seriously pal .

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi Jeff. I for one was with you and him from the very beginning. I know what you mean though I got quite a lot of people replying to my posts who didn't agree.
MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

So you introduced Cellino to the board and last week helped him house hunt. You have called maybe 3 things right and now think you are some sort of god, if you post a thousand things a few will be right, imo it's all BS, mot. Vinny.

Agree0 Disagree0

You know what radio jeff, you have the nerve to talk about 'so called fans', how do you know who is a fan or not, are you a lifelong 5 minute 'soccer' fan like DH? Or are you one of many thousands of us spending a fortune travelling all over watching our team play? Only you know. Personally, anyone who views Leeds United with pride, whether at a game or from afar is a fan to me. So, is radio jeff in the know with the proposed new owner? Does his so called inside information prove he s right at the heart of things? I don't think so, I think he s hit it lucky a couple of times which to be honest, posting it after its been public knowledge for hours doesn t really count. My favourite has to be the two old guys in Beeston story, utter carp, obviously not googled 'Leeds United history' before spewing nonsense, Busted. So if you want the rest of us who believe you know no more than your imaginary pensioner friends to change our minds about you, then don't make up stuff to seem more interesting, you just look foolish. Just tell us something now that's in the pipeline for next week that only someone that's really in the know, knows about. Bet you cant. MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Good to see you back

Agree0 Disagree0

Wahey. Survivor returns and still doesn't respond to other people after they reply to him. More nonsense uttered fueling his bloated ego with no real information whatsoever.

How did dinner go in San Carlo? Lol.

Crmd

Agree0 Disagree0

You know nothing more than the rest of us. I'm making the prediction now that we'll sign another player. I've given as much detail as you would include so if I'm right surely I'm as in the know as you are.

Agree0 Disagree0

By the way, that was my post above, just below the very correct vinny. For some reason when I login with my tablet it doesn't put my name to it and I m happy to stand by everything I write. Sorry have to go now, my friend Tom Cruise wants me to find him a new bedsit. Honest.

Got a good feeling about the game today, though I do realise that is tempting fate! 2-1 I reckon, though we will probably go one down before we wake up, in time honoured Leeds tradition. Its got to the point where I am worried if we take the lead early!
