Believable7 Unbelievable0

9 people out, 8 people in!

Agree5 Disagree0

Geeezz,Cut the wage bill for uncle Ken obviously

Agree4 Disagree0

A team from that squad would definitely take us up, and they are realistic additions too.

Come on Leeds!

Agree3 Disagree0

Aidy white is no LB and diouf is no LM

Agree1 Disagree2

With parker, Veryrnan, o'dea, robinson, and now Taylor that would be 14 off the wage bill. I have a feeling webber will go too if NW has younger pacey winger lined up.

Agree1 Disagree2

Maik taylor has left for millwall on a perm too....what about buce and bromby keep or not? there are loads you haven't mentioned more

Agree2 Disagree2

If he get them three in get rid of bruce, bromby is injured long term so he will stay for now

Agree2 Disagree0

If he plays lees at right back it would be a huge mistake,he has really struggled when he's played there imo

Just watched the American baseball fans destroying MOT. Absolute disgrace.

Believable5 Unbelievable0

We love you twins twins twins, bates would of sold them the rights, kerrrchin

Agree2 Disagree2

Much as I hate Bates I doubt we can blame him for that one. The song was written by Les Reed & Barry Mason who will probably own the rights through a publishing company. The names might not mean much to most people on here but their catalogues include 'Delilah', It's Not Unusual', 'Here It Comes Again', 'The Last Waltz' and the first single I ever bought as a kid, 'Love Grows (Where Rosemary Grows)'. Songwriting is where the serious money is in pop music so I expect they have very considerable financial muscle and wouldn't need to sell their intellectual property rights to a mere football club. Generally speaking, as long as they pay the royalties, pretty much anyone can record it. Publishers rarely turn away cash...

Sorry to be so nerdy - ex-muso still playing the local music scene in my 50s - and avid collector of utterly useless musical knowledge.

These are the changes I think would do the tho job OUTS: brown, Connolly, taylor, rachubka, kisnorbo, obrien, Sam, Pugh, paynter, white(cash in) INS: k westwood, j hoyte, j Pearce, m cranie, t spurr, g Elokobi, g leadbitter, d McDermott, g Roberts, o norwood, j gudjonsson, j coppinger, EH diouf, d goodwillie. Personally a I reckon add these to the rest of the squad I think that would be a great squad that could get us promoted, doubt no1 will agree but its good enough for me.

Believable2 Unbelievable4

I live in Huddersfield and can confirm Gary Roberts is the worst player for them... We really really don't want him here.

Agree1 Disagree1

How will signing half of Huddersfields team, which couldn't get out of league 1, help us win the championship? Dream on!

Agree1 Disagree0

Couple of players isnt half on a subs bench is it, not exactly going to get cabaye or Dempsey are we, realistic transfers that could work together that's what matter

Sky Sports understands that Leicester are looking to start their summer transfer business early and have lodged a bid for Hull City's Robert Koren.
Come on leeds sort it out

Believable4 Unbelievable5

We've been linked with him before but he's hardly set the Championship on fire for Dull City. No thanks.

Agree2 Disagree0

They can have him he's too inconsistent and flits in and outa games too much

Agree1 Disagree0

So thats our standard this summer start by signing a player Hull arnt offering a contract too,so why is he good enough for us.

Agree2 Disagree0

Its him or derry lol

David james told he can leave ashton gate ?? Any1 even as a backup ?

Believable4 Unbelievable8

Can't see it - pretty sure he's from the area and has his family settled there.

Agree2 Disagree2

Please no...not calamity!

Agree2 Disagree1

No way, worse than lonners

Agree1 Disagree1

Never was good enough!

Agree1 Disagree1

England manager obvs thought otherwise

Agree0 Disagree0

Kieran Westwood would be a great steal currently not getting any game time and C Gordon started ahead of him last week too, so looks like he is 3rd choice

01 May 2012 21:50:04
"He scored six goals, got 12 assists and I think probably six of those were on Billy's head in the six-yard box,"

"He's a class player, not easy to manage off the pitch, but I only had him for five months and the clauses in his contract are for the Championship, so I think he'll probably be going to another club, whether it's Leeds or somewhere else."

Diouf id have him

Of all the older generation ex Leeds players I would like to see back at elland road I would like to see Ian harte again, he may not have the pace but he never did really but boy he can take a free kick and always loved pulling on the shirt glad to see reading giving him another go In the prem league good luck to ya lad

Believable7 Unbelievable4

Sky sports reckon he is due to sign a contract extension with reading

Think warnock will have a whole new left side and whole new back 4 but possible team with known/rumoured players?

GK- Lonergan or Kenny
DEF
RB?
CB- Pearce
CB-Whitbread/Mills/lees?
LB possibly tony diagne?
MID
RW- Rogers
CM- Clayton
CM-Green/Clingan
LW- ? possibly Paul anderson nottingham forrest dont know which wing he plays on though?
ST McCormack/Becchio, Diouf

Not too sure if snoddy will sign but would be good to have and i think white is off to the prem
Opinions?

Believable1 Unbelievable3

Rogers is not good enough for the starting 11 to get us up, Warnock will loan him or keep him on the bench!

Agree1 Disagree5

How do you know the fella isn't good enough? the blokes been unlucky picked up two bad injuries in twenty minutes! NW has said he's been impressed with RR in training! give the lad a proper chance!

Just been watching a few games from the 09/10 season and personally I think we're missing the likes of gradel and Johnson, I'm not saying we're getting them back or anything put we miss maxi' pace and Johnson ending able to control a midfield. Johnson and Clayton would of worked a treat with gradel and snoddy on the wings {Ed020's Note - totally agree with you, since maxi left, theres not been that spike of energy through the middle, and kilkennys long ball passes are missed too}

Believable9 Unbelievable1

Pace has been the main problem all season, throughout the whole team from defence to attack.

Agree9 Disagree1

Its only aidy that has any sort of pace so will everyone plz stop saying that they want him to leave

Agree0 Disagree0

01 May 2012 17:56:52
warnock going to west brom and he,s taking snoddy with him

Believable2 Unbelievable15

Pace has been the main problem all season, throughout the whole team from defence to attack.

Agree6 Disagree2

What date is the champions league final? {Ed003's Note - 19th May}

Agree5 Disagree0

Why do you post absolute crap like that,it aint gonna happen,you must have the IQ of a lettuce. {Ed003's Note - Honest it's the 19th May,why wont it happen? ;) }

Agree6 Disagree0

Thought i'd add to this, carrots..

Agree10 Disagree0

Dannii minouge is gonna be back on the x factor

Agree4 Disagree1

Carrot? What carrot don't even get me started on the lettuce fred

Don't buy crappy frees! We need to spen money Warnock! Be truthful with us Leeds fans this summer!

Believable2 Unbelievable10

Don't think you can buy something that is free

Agree15 Disagree0

We got kaspar schemical on a free & now there's talk of him going to spurs.....just because its free doesn't mean its bad!

Agree3 Disagree1

01 May 2012 14:30:20
All this talk of transfers and the names that are being thrown around......*sigh* we are gonna be so disappointed :-( hope I am wrong :-)

Believable3 Unbelievable9

I agree...Just like last season.

Agree3 Disagree8

You two sound a bundle of laughs, best just ignore all the silly rumours of who we are signing, have a bit of faith FFS,NW has done it all before with little or no money, and Im sure his signings will suprise a few people,NOT the likes of Smith and all the other ex Leeds players being bandied about,he will sort the defence, and has stated he wants hungry players, fast, who want to play for Leeds, not the money.

Agree6 Disagree1

Bet your house is a happy place to be

Agree2 Disagree2

Wasnt the same said last season and look at all the amazing players we got..haha

Agree0 Disagree2

Problem is, this time, if we a are disappointed there will be no team left

Agree1 Disagree0

Yeah it is a very happy house thx :-) just sick of getting my hopes up as far as LUFC goes and then being kicked in the nuts !

Agree0 Disagree1

Too many dreamers on here...

Agree2 Disagree2

01 May 2012 13:30:23
My guess at to who will be leaving follwing NW's meeting on wednesday.

Paul Rachubka
Maik Taylor
Alex Bruce
Paul Connolly
Michael Brown
Ramon Nunez
Lloyd Sam
Billy Paynter
Mikael Forssell

Leaves room for some good additions: Paddy Kenny, Jason Pearce, Matt Mills, Clint Hill, New Right Back, Paul Green, El Hadji Diouf, Jermaine Beckford.

Believable3 Unbelievable6

Can't see Nunez going as he signed a 5 year contract last season so wouldnt be released. Maybe transfer listed but hasnt been played enough for people to notice. I reckon he will be a good squad player next season.

Agree6 Disagree4

Lloyd sam is playing well for notts county.....may not be ignored by colin after a run of games to prove himself

Agree7 Disagree4

Nunez and Sam given a chance in preseason maybe?

Agree2 Disagree2

Hes already stated that he wants to get a proper look at Nunez as well as Rogers in pre season! That and 4yrs on his contract, unlikely to sell.

Agree1 Disagree0

01 May 2012 12:26:08
hey guys not really a rant but a question bout the new jersey did anyone buy the new jersey yet or have the black one? just im thinking if buying it but before i do just like to know will i get more than 3 washes off it before all the writing peels off!! did this happen to any off you?? wtf? :(

Believable5 Unbelievable0

You should try washing your shirt by hand

Agree1 Disagree0

The team shirt hasn't been a problem this season as none of the squad have managed to get the shirt dirty enough to need washing.

Agree10 Disagree1

Uncle ken bought the cheapest on offer from macron and tried selling to us at top dollar - hopefully he has learnt after throwing thousands of unsold shirts in the bin

Team for next season has to be something on the lines of;
1 - Lonners
2 - Tom Lees
3- New left back/ Aidy White
4 - Jason Pearce - Pompey
5 - Alex Bruce/Matt Mills - Leceister
6 - Clayton
7 - Sone Aluko - Rangers
8 - Snoddy
9 - Beckford- Leceister
10 - Becchio
11 - McCormack

Would love a Boyd, Dorrans, Butterfield. Cannot see that busting the bank to be honest, play less attacking away from home sure but with Pearce,Mills, Aluko, Beckford , 4 players plus one other from Boyd,Dorrans,Butterfield we would be flying. Come on Leeds MOT.

Believable2 Unbelievable6

Another beckford here. i keep paynter

how about nigel hasslebaink, looks pacey, bit of flair, but only scored 6 goals, but in the right team, he,ll do good, seen hisome of his goals on you tube, what ya think?

Believable3 Unbelievable2

01 may 2012 09:20:06
just read snodd'ys interview with the yep. im no inspector poirot but reading between the lines he's off definetly. he obviously knows what players with half his ability are on (johnson and howson) seen our contract offer. its not rocket science. you read it and tel me what u think. mot

Believable8 Unbelievable1

Looks like he's heading to do the same as Johnson,Kilkenny, Howson,Beckford, Contract offer not good enough so run present contract down and leave on a free.. Unless a good offer comes in for him.

Agree6 Disagree1

I think everybody knew thats how Bates was going to find his money,no way will he spend out of his own pocket, some people on here think his wallets coming out ,laugh a nearly broke a rib !!

Agree1 Disagree2

Ithink we need to stop panicking about snoddy i don't really think he's that good championship player at best he's just stood out coz we are that bad

Agree6 Disagree0

I think he is still just weighing up his options. Like he said he isnt out of contract yet so there is no rush. Plus he can't leave untill there is a good enough offer. Once the new players comes in he'll want to stay. if not we will have no move on with out him let be positive. MOT

Agree3 Disagree0

To be honest....would you stay when the big cash is getting offered elsewhere and K.B in charge.

Agree1 Disagree4

01 May 2012 09:16:40
snodgrass was our best player by a mile last season and as much as i hate to say it he has no intention of signing a new contract at leeds and who can blame him ? he just done an interview in the YEP and gave the game away i quote "ive got a year left on my contract and if nothing comes about ill be here at leeds naxt season" enough said

Believable1 Unbelievable5

Mccormack has been much better than snoddy in the 2011/2012 season . snoddy has had a poor season and cant understand how he got 2 awards unless it was just to try get him to stay at leeds .who knows . ive got fed up of him losing the ball all the time since warnock took charge . snoddy had a run of games where he scored a few and was creating goals earlier in the season . if we are offered anywhere near 5 mil for him i would accept and bring someone with pace aswell as flair in

I'm going to join the calls to get Alan Smith back to Elland road. I know what your thinking oh god another person living in the past (or various combinations of swear words with the same meaning :)

But actually I don't want him as a player, have spoken to a mate whos an MK Dons fan and he says he's past it even for league 1, but i'd have him as a coach for the younger players. No one can doubt he is leeds through and through and he would be able to help them cope with being a young player at a big stadium with lots of fans with high expectations as he did it himself. I think if he can draw on the passion he had for the game before all his injuries he could become a very good coach for the team.

And yes before you say it I know he hasn't got any coaching knowledge but I heard from the MK Dons fan he is helping run a few sessions for there youth teams to try his hand at coaching as it is something he wants to move into at the end of his playing career.

Believable8 Unbelievable4

Good call! I like this, to be fair when he was out of the picture at Newcastle he went up and watched a few of their youngsters .. it'd be a shame if he went off and coached at Newcastle (offer is on the table) as I think he has the experience and passion to bring kids forward at LUFC. Of course I'd like to dream and say he could have one last swansong but I can totally understand if he only came back as a coach.

Agree0 Disagree0

See I agree with this, I have no problems with him helping out our youth. But hes past it as a player. If he is leeds he'll come back and coach here, if hes chasing the pay packet still he'll stay at nufc. Lets see whats more important to him.

I've Spoken with Max Gradel and he's very Happy @ Saint-Etienne and doesn't know where the rumours have come from although in the future he would love to return to Leeds.

Why do people keep saying were going fo sign people like matt jarvis david tempelton and other when we can just afford micheal browns wages warnock will bring in people that will get us out of this league Ed is there any news on gradel leaving st etienne {Ed020's Note - he's about as likely to leave there as i am to being unveiled as united top super striker. he left leeds for personal reasons, and seems to be doing great there, not sure where these rumours saying he's not happy are coming from}

Believable0 Unbelievable3

The rumour on gradel came prom a interview on a french link saying he wasn't enjoying being a bench warmer but 5 games later he's in the yeam and scoreing goals and assists. liked the lad but did the same as the rest. he thought the grass was greener on the other side. come on lads start thinking outside the box. just as bad as smith 4 me. mot4life
