Would love to see leeds install the electronic advertising boards around the pitch next season makes grounds look so much better and then we could also have more sponsors too

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed013's Note - I think better players will be a priority}

Having more bums on seats will make the ground. Look better hopefully. Season. Ticket prices will be reasonable

Agree0 Disagree0

I go to watch football!

Agree0 Disagree0

It would probably mean more revenue. so would pay for itself I imagine?

Agree0 Disagree0

Think original poster is an electronic ad board salesman. Fair attempt at drumming up interest though sir.

The heart says give him another chance now we've got some pennies to spend Andy, but the head says he's got to go if only for the strange decisions of late and poor excuses. Also would you trust him with big money (not sure) He's a nice guy but it's a tough world out there & with Massimo as boss I fear for Brian but would wish him well regardless

McDermott has been in charge for a year and the free flowing passing football he offered has never materialised, in fact we seem to have gone backwards, if not for McCormack we would have been relegation certainties, anyone think he can turn it round or is a new manager needed.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Because MC has promised to get us back into the PL within two years, he simply can't afford to take a chance and keep BMD. Even if we win the next 3 games Brian's record is not good enough. The only way Brian will be manager next season is if it suits MC from a financial point of view or if he is waiting for a certain manager to become available. As much as the fans and MC like Brian he still has to go, maybe he is too nice to get the best from the squad. MC's choice of new manager is very important any chance of promotion within 2 seasons depends on getting the right manager in and MC putting in enough cash.

Agree0 Disagree0

Defo need a new manager next season, BMD has the worst record ever and I don't buy all his excuses.

Personally i'll be disappointed if Norwich go down. The players they got from us were all ready for the step up and I don't feel the need to attach any blame to any party. With the possible exception of Johnson, i'd take them all back tomorrow especially Snodgrass who is a proper Premiership player and one who I feel is ready for a higher up club ie. Everton. let's hope we can bring through or buy some young players soon who get attention again from Premier league clubs but this time we won't need to sell as we will be on our way there soon! MOT.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Snoddy will be at Celtic next season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why not Johnson? I'm not one for taking back old players but I'd say he's the kind of player we need to replace the ageing Brown. Austin vs Johnson? No contest.

Agree0 Disagree0

I completely agree. Johnson scores goals too unless you've forgotten

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't want any EX players back

Hi all you hard working eds, hope ed13 you're break went well buddy?
The week leading upto mc geting the correct verdict from the QC there was a lot of chat between it seems together LEEDS and our very own M C does anyone really know the result are they still joining forces? Maybe at some stage when they go to gfh for rest of shares ie 25% (if we are led to believe) or is M C going it alone and as I see it the joint venture was just a cushion way to still get to own us if FL turned him down any ones views on this

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed013's Note - it was a busy break in Newquay mate for a family wedding. As far as I know the together Leeds chat has dried up. I hope once Cellino gets on top of the books and club he is able to look at options to buy the remaining 25% and that is where TL may come in}

Cheers ed hope the busy time ended well for you! I'm also hoping once MC sees these modern day robin hoods for what they are and tried to do to our fantastic club that he buys them out and then resells to together LEEDS as it'll give him a second opinion on things if any sudden knee jerk decision need to be made hoping mc buys ER and t arch 1st! roll on the next few months it's going to be interesting in a positive way for once at LEEDS! And for you guys blooming mayhem laugh out loud at least registration will cut ot the trolls now

i dislike chelsea and city but can't help that think that the scousers are being helped to win the title this season, I know some will slaughter me for saying so but it seems as though a lot of the big decisions have gone their way esp lately.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I thought this was a leeds forum?

Agree0 Disagree0

Didn't Manchester United have 15yrs of decisions going for them?
Chelski had decisions go for them when they won the champs league?

I'm not sure who I'd want to win it but I think GERRARD deserves a premier league title, it will be his last chance this year and for his loyalty/commitment you can't knock him ;)

AndyMOT

Agree0 Disagree0

When we were Champions in 68/69 and won it at Anfield the Kop and the other scousers applauded. i'd rather they won it rather than the cockneys or the mancs. MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

I Hope Liverpool win the league for Gerrard & the 96

plus can you imagine the impact that gerrard could make at the world cup after he has a league medal in his locker

Agree0 Disagree0

I only started going in early 1970 so missed the legendary Kop applause when we won the title but my uncle who used to take me every week as a kid was there and often talked about the graciousness of the Liverpool fans that day.

I'd also agree that Gerrard deserves a title.

As for the 'isn't this a Leeds site' comment, surely the fact that it is doesn't preclude a bit of general football discussion and debate?

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi Ed, long time visitor, first time poster, keep up the great work.

Here we are praising Liverpool fans for clapping us on to the pitch as Champions & they are also applauded for the great welcome they give to their returning ex players. What bugs me is why do our fans have to boo & slag off of our ex players when they return to Elland Road? There were some great players like Gary Mc who served our club so well yet he got booed by our fans when he returned as part of a Liverpool team. I think we should give credit where credit is due to those players that did well & were proud to wear our badge.

{Ed013's Note - Thanks buddy}

Ok my Mrs isn't well and I don't know how long to go
My youngest goes into the army next month and I have to read all these lies from Mad Mick.
Haven't got a clue why he's making all this up as I have kept all our messages.
Ed 13
You have not allowed me to reply to his stories and I wonder why .
Are you and Mad Mick the same person .
Just so you know I hVe contacted Liverpool .
Jeff

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed013's Note - unfortunately I am unsure what you are talking about. I have been away for the last week so am out of the loop. How could I be mad mick and I haven't messaged you other than the initiation of you and Mad Mick. Are you feeling ok?}

What have you contacted Liverpool about?

Agree0 Disagree0

What the hell is going on between mad Micky and survivor/ Jeff one minute chatty now seems at each other's throats, have I missed a month somewhere, anyone brief us in

If liverpool win the league this season gerrard feels it is job done at liverpool and wants to end his career at a big club. liverpools american owner is concerned about players car stereos being stolen and is keen on a straight swap for michael brown

I'm lost here! Is the original poster Jeff the survivor or Jeff the imposter? What's he on about at the end of his post?

Agree0 Disagree0

Er, really not sure what to make of that first line Jeff, jeeez. can't make the connection of your youngest going into the army and Mick? My only son is about to start training as a Royal Marine and I couldn't possibly be prouder

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed013's Note - Good luck to your son. Once he gets through the initial basic training he will be fine. Tell him it is all a game and they push them to their limits to test them. Once he passes he will love it and you will be prouder than proud at his pass off parade. All the best}

Its not looking good for Norwich, although to get 2 past Liverpool ( Snoddy being on the score sheet ) there fighting, but there upcoming fixtures make some pretty grim reading

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed013's Note - I imagine if they go down then Snoddy will go to another Prem team and possibly Howson. Johnson will probably stay and I predict Becchio will move abroad. I would like Cellino to have a strong British advisor, as there will be some very good proven players available at the end of the season, but unsure if any of the above will come back. Look how many are out of contract at Leicester! It could be an exciting summer, but that doesn't mean Smith, Beckford and Messi rumours are OK :-)

Agree with you Ed. MC may know all about Italian football & the players over there he is interested in but he will need advice (not from BMcD) on who to spend money on from the English leagues. Date I say (for 2nd season on the bounce) I'm excited for the summer & lookin forward to next season?!?!?

Agree0 Disagree0

So the Messi rumours aren't true? :O and Bah!

{Ed013's Note - maybe season after}

Brian is taking transfer plans with MC this week, I would put a wager on that Brian's list includes Matt Mills, Jobi McNuff and Adam LeFondre.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

If he tries to sign any more Reading rejects, then he should be instantly fired on the spot. Sick of the club wasting money and wages on mediocre players we don't need.

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe ALF but we need to bring in real Quality and build a team around Ros Mc. Roll on next season MOT.

Is it coincidence that highly rated Victor Ibarbo at Cagliari has been dropped to the bench recently? Are they trying to lower his profile to ward off bigger clubs ahead of a switch to us?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

So we get taken over by a wealthy italian with plenty of football experience, he states he wants a 'coach' because he is the manager. our worst 'manager' in recent years then drops the suit he has worn all season and starts wearing a track suit, two games two wins, )his daughter told him about the tracksuit apparently, and maybe she's now the one picking the team). or is it that Mr MC is now picking the side. I honestly can't take BMD seriously anymore!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I believe that the difference is in fact Marius zaliukas

Vince Cable, to clamp down on rogue owners, from overseas. Banning them from any kind of ownership. I wonder which MP got on his back?

Quick update on my night of passion lads and lasses. don't buy Old Spice from Poundland and if you do check the sell by date. Mine was best before 1976 (about right) and when Mrs Mick arrived home late last night all giddy after two Babyshams and entered the bedroom where I was waiting, all loved up in my new attire, lights dimmed and Luther Vandross serenading her she was overcome by the fumes of what can only be described as a mixture of drain cleaner and buttercup cough syrup. She prompty threw up all over my brand new Jamaican Bob Sledge team replica shell suit and my romantic evening was over before it started. On a plus note, the new shell suit is very durable and is easily wiped clean. It's also versatile and can be worn to work and play. I am off to cut the grass outside in vest and shell suit bottoms in a scene resembling the Diet Coke advert, then sling the top layer back on and down to 'spoons for 11. Simples!
Happy Easter on and all x

ALI LUFC -Whilst I do agree with your sentiment regarding selling our best players in the past; football is a commercial business and whether we supporters like it or not, players will be sold to the highest bidder. Every team does this and then most reinvest. We are just used to our club selling and then little, if any reinvestment unfortunately. The tide of change could well be here.Let us see what the summer brings before we judge. Just a thought
