Don't know too much about Brownhill but he would be third on my list behind behind Flint and Bryant.

Thought it was Bryan.

I rate all 3 of those players but don't know why they'd want to join us. As of right now, it'd be a sideways move and therefore pointless for them.

May Bryant be the perfect match for Leeds [insert smiley face].

You must know even less about every other player if one you know very little about gets to third in your list!

anybody else seriously missing doukara barts and green? i don't miss taylor he was a snob and thought he was better than leeds. the feeling around the club was so much different 12 months ago, the fans believed in the team. i miss those work horses, come back please men.

Doukara are you serious? he's on a par with Felix in other words s**t.

Simply retaining Green probably would've been worth an extra 10 points at this stage of the season.

aggro what would you rather have a or b . wied ayling jansson cooper de bock forshaw vieira hernandez saiz dallas lasogga. or green ayling jansson barts de bock forshaw vieira hernandez saiz doukara lasogga?

What I will say is I'd have Bartley back partnering Jansson and Green in net before Felix but would not have Doukara in any of my teams.

Would love to agree with you George but Green had his moments also we need better

Wex He did but overall Green put in solid performances. He didn't continually flap in the wind. Felix in this division, much like TC, looks like everything is brand new. Silvestri better than Felix.

Agree8 Disagree0

20 Feb 2018 21:05:05
George I agree with Wex on this one, Green was a liability at the beginning and only came good later on, but saying that I would rather have him than Felix, although again Felix has had his good games, not often but, he made a bloody good save after his flap in the Bristol game, it’s all about confidence isn’t it, he’s right in front of the fans, that must be terrifying on its own! Mistakes will be highlighted tenfold! I defo think we do need a new keeper though!

MW67 We do need better than Green but getting rid of him and Silvestri for Wied and Lonners was the peak of Orta retardation.

Agree3 Disagree0

21 Feb 2018 01:16:22
MW67 With Wied, no it's not exclusively about confidence. Partly confidence but the main concern is there are certain skills he is simply lacking in. General command of box. Specific command of goal area on set pieces such as corners and long throw-ins. Communication and inspiration to the back 4. He has to go. He won't improve sufficiently for our aims.

Not sure it was a fantastic save against city. I thought he tripped over his laces and the ball hit hom!

Agree1 Disagree1

21 Feb 2018 20:16:44
Well put George and Ausman you did see him trip over his laces but that was 24hrs later! You see you get it all second hand and they have time to edit it! We actually won 3-2 but they cut our winning goal out as well! 😂😂

By my reckoning if we play reasonably as we might expect to, we should get another 29 points by the end of the season. This might not be quite enough to get us to the play offs, so we need to take some points off the top 6 which will increase this tally, and not slip up to lower teams. If we can go on a sustained run there is still hope, my glass is still half full, even though its early in the morning. MOT
Lets start the run tomorrow with everyone back from suspension, and no silly red cards for the rest of the season.

29 points from 14 games. i think 20 would be more realistic looking at the run. i wouldn't look at the play offs as a target anymore i'd look at winning games and seeing how the team gel under hecky. anything better than 7th is just an added bonus.

Many gave up on top six, weeks ago Sam. We may have a repeat of last years finish. I think only a semi miraculous tunaround can now drag us to 6th or less. let's hope our "failure" is a blessing in disguise and an extra period of bonding, wise summer purchasing and some blossoming U23s will see us storm 18/19.

20 is a bridge too far. I think heck will improve the team and performances once beradi and saiz are back. As I've said before wield will cost us 10 points this season. I reckon he has already cost us at least 5-6. We will not win games with him in goal. 2 good games out of 20 odd. Should be 20 good 2 bad. The defense had no faith and were hesitant! The only midfielder with passion was forshaw. Lassoga was good. Phillips thinks everything is a joke. Roofe needs to realise you lot pay his wages and have respect, sacko just needs to go. Eukaba also needs to go. At least to u23s. Okane used to be good is now just average. got to be honest. I think bristol city slacked off enabling us into the game. At the end if the day we were unlucky not to win a game we got bossed about for 70 minutes.

29 points from our last 14 games given our recent form ? I am all for a glass half full but not half full of hallucinogens.

When the mathematical equation arises int he next few weeks that we won't make the play offs but are also assured that relegation is no longer an issue i would like to see some of our under 23s been given the chance of game time the likes of Bailey peacock Farrell yes i know he had a torrid time at York however he can't be any worse the two keepers we have and let's give the land some experience. The same goes for the other lads that are shinning bright behind the scenes.

My thoughts also Newt. Not sure which U23s I will leave that to what Hecky sees at Thorpe Arch.

Pearce, Machuca, Sarkic, Hosanah all worth a try.

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Feb 2018 09:38:31
So yesterday none of Sarkic, Pearce, Rey, BPF, and i think romario vieira were in the under 23's team, i know they play a very attacking game so maybe why 2 defenders weren't in but the two defenders and keeper are crucial to the 23's and you dexpect them to be playing unless they're elsewhere. Maybe not against derby as its crucial but perhaps against brentford we may see some more youth on the bench. i'd love to see sarkic make an appearance as i think he could be quality. he's only on a 2 and a half year deal so if we want to get anything from him i'd expect him to be with the first team within the next 6 months. he's scoring a lot of goals and looks a good threat for the youth side. Can he step up and is he good enough back up? we have a hug elist of fringe players. lonergan/bpf, rey, diaz, hosannah, shaugnessy, anita, denton, coyle, sacko, okane, klich, bouy, vieira (romario) , dalby, sarkic, who all have probably 6 months to prove their worth at the club or wherever they may be on loan. Lots of selling to do and another busy summer i'd imagine.

Maybe we will see some of the young guns given a go as soon as our fate is decided and even into the pre season. I have never seen any U23 games so am blind about the quality but the pure logic tells Radz if he promotes from within he saves a few mill.
