Murphy and Dave did a job for us a few seasons ago and both are good Championship professionals but good is all. You need better to challenge so its a let them go with a firm hand shake and a 'Thanks and good luck' from me.

Season before last he came on leaps and bounds after Christmas. It was like having a new signing. Hope TC can get the best out of him

From what I've read about TC's preparation, I think he will already have the info he needs, and will have decided on the futures of those loaned out.

Murphy has had his opportunities and has not done enough to command a place in the squad. To fully compete in this division we need midfielders who will take responsibility to drive us up the pitch. Murphy prefers to play the easy pass either backwards or sideways
