Got to be joking will hughes is valued at about 6-7 mill no chance. Rest are possible

Agree0 Disagree0

Will Hughes? Most names up there are unlkely, that one is downright laughable. Just how much money do you think Leeds have exactly?

Mr Happy

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think it's just the transfer fee but the wages would be out of our league and totally destroy any structure we had.

I've just found out from my brother who supports west ham that they've got a kit deal with Adidas. i'm abit jealous as I'm sick of macron shirts they make us. the away one we had this season was nice but appart from that there not great. I wish we had nike or Adidas but sue I suppose we will have to put up with them for another three years.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

It would be nice to have Puma or Nike again. Also the white rose badge that was before the current shield.
Maybe go back to having the Pumas down the sleeves as well - that would grab peoples attention.

Agree0 Disagree0

Is this a football site or 'The Clothes Show'?
It does not matter who makes the shirts, it's all about the commercial details (how much money do LUFC keep from the sale of each shirt / shorts etc).

Agree0 Disagree0

Agreed. Would rather have puma/nike/addidas compared to macron. The new home shirt is awful at best

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Hes of to hudders town pal. Mot.

Agree0 Disagree0

Any leeds fan who thinks alex mccarthy will be joining leeds this summer is totally deluded. Top prem teams chasing him and just been announced in the england squad as 3rd choice will no doubt of added a couple of mill £ to his price tag. So why the hell would he want to join us and even if he did, how can we afford him?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Dont know any Leeds fans who have said we are after him, which we arent

Agree0 Disagree0

Gfh are skint i've said this from day one, they are winging it, selling bit here and bits there,

why would you sell 3. 3% about £ 800,000 this is peanuts in the world of football, they are using this money to get by for another month they will either sell this month or find another 'investor' to keep them going? watch this space.

Agree0 Disagree0

So GFH are skint are they. And your proof is? No you have none, you know sweet FA pal. Just another negative so called fan.

Agree0 Disagree0

The club is currently valued at £25million, they purchased us for £21million. So the fee paid for the club represents market value.

What you should be asking is whether 'investors' are buying shares directly off GFH (therefore funds go directly to GFH) or are they buying NEWLY ISSUED shares in the club (where funds go directly into the clubs funds).

One is a share sale and the other a share issue and there is a huge difference.

Share Sale = GFH benefit
Share Issue = the club benefits (or at least the company that owns the club)

I would say that's definitely true, there are reports that International Investment Bank (IIB) are set to takeover from GFH-C, however I don't think that is true as IIB only made $8m net profit last year & see there 10% as a value play move rather than long term investment.

Like GFH-C, IIB have a quick exit strategies and look to flip investments for profit very quickly.

This all points to a new party to the fold, If so I hope that any new party has the long term vision & strategy and revenue to provide stability & growth for years to come.

GFH-C have only provided further uncertainty, which for me makes me feel like we are not far from a financial collapse.

Agree0 Disagree0

From the look of it GFH-Capital are no longer in charge & its now GFH themselves

Matt Kilgallon playing silly buggers at Sunderland. Is he the sort we want to take us forward?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No, mainly because I don't rate him as a player & be he isn't professional enough.

Been thinking what I would like to see next season.

Kenny is a good shot stopper - and would like to see him stay IF he starts to come off his line more. Matt Mills in at CB would be a good move IMO.

Rather than the 6/7 players we are rumoured to be chasing, I would like to see Macca bring in 1/2 GOOD Prem players, and use the youth a lot more - From a bench that is packed with youth each week.

I would also NOT sell the players that most are criticising like Norris, Green, Drury, Austin, Varney etc. because, I do not believe that we saw the best of any of them under Colin's management. If we all remember, it took max a while to show what he was all about!
. Give Macca a season with them - If they still don't shine, then fine get rid.
As for players coming in - Think I am quite happy to trust Macca on that one.

Wouldnf good prem players be playing 7n the prem?

This isn't a rumour, just an opinion! Now that Brentford failed to get promotion a few of there players may like to move on to a higher division. Harley Dean - CB - and Clayton Donaldson + Harry Forrester - ATT. Very decent young players which could be useful!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Clayton Donaldson is 29, but you are right, there are some very very good players in league 1, I have said it before I think this is where BMD will be buying from.

so it was reported in the YEP on saturday that BMcD will try to 'advance his transfer plans' this week. interesting that this coincides with the end of the premier league season and nothing happened before, could show he is hoping to sign players from prem clubs?
