All I can say is

Remember the MINUS 15 POINTS and our attitude to carry on.....the passion which was shown....the results that followed as we climbed the league...

We need to bring this spirit back within ER especially before every game, during every game ....we can raise the bar and help the Team.

There's only one rallying call...and you all know what it is.

We have been kicked in the balls far too many times since then...stop living in the past and look at the present, the club is a shambles and we all know it

That was when grayson was in charge (who i believe we should have kept anyways) we had better team 2 years ago than what we have now. seriously douif atm is our best player, he would have struggled to get a start in graysons squad!

Got quite a lot of stick from the YEP website for my post regarding playing the youth at the start of the season...

said then, it's the only way forward this season.... And I haven't seen anyway to change my mind... They may be inexperienced, but it's hard to argue against playing .... Poleon, Payne, Thompson, Byram, Turners, Gimpel, Antelmi, White, Dawson etc, etc...

By now we would have had a hungry, quick, young , experienced championship team.... ADD into that Ross, Becchio, and Rudy... I wonder ??

Remember DoL being given a similar choice( ie no choice), albeit in somewhat different circumstances after GG departed. I whole-heartedly agree. poleon, gimple, et al. Get then in and lets see what they are made of. One thing i feel certain of is that they WILL play for the shirt, unlike much of the dross ambling round the pitch for an easy payday at the moment.

There's one reason and one reason only why the youth have not been played in force yet - likely renegotiation of contracts by those players when they do good. We don't have the money currently to keep them.

If that is the case why isnt our development squad hammering teams every week? besides they would be far too light weight for the championship, 1 or 2 on the wings or playing forward whould be good with pace but we would have no strength is the side, we would look like a bunch of fairies! Or is this just a big joke for the banter page, im confused as Leeds fans seem to be agreeing with you.

This just in the reason the money's for transfers hasn't arrived yet I because its on its way via camel they don't move very fast rumour is it is in France no long now people! Watch this space!

Leave Deane out of it. He was excellent compared to what we have now. Rest I agree with. Still say performances dipped even further after Hillsborough this year. When we deducted 15 points it seemed like everyone was in it together. Players doing for the fans and vice versa. Not sure if the players have lost respect for the players and vice versa.

This almost sickening to see leeds fans abusing adam smith on twitter with some nasty comments as a leeds fan even i think varney should have been sent off if you look at re play he has a look around sees smith coming and swings his already up elbows back, to everyone calling him a cheat he didnt help varney by staying down but then again varney went to do him straight red , shame on warnock for his comments on smith to further strenghten my thoughts at how he has destroyed our club with poor signings stupid quotes like those he made against kirkland and smith are seriously damaging who refs see oour club and how others see our club

He looked back and had his elbows up and thats a red card in my books but he certainly didnt swing as you say he did

When ur backing on to a player of course you look at him, he didnt raise an elbow or swing, no more than a push on the side of his face. smith went down like he'd been shot, clutching his face, not a mark on him. back our players not cheats. don't need persons like you 2

You obviously didnt see the game cause varneys elbows were raised

Imo def red but the way varney has played most games for us we started with 10 men finished with 10 he is garbage if we cant sign quality forward give poleon a chance along side becchio possibly the new chapman and wallace partnership

Just coming back on the point I made last week - which got me in hot water with some of you on the
site.

He has taken the 2M from GFH to keep them interested. He is using the time to line up a
potential investor from the USA who will keep KB and his right hand men on board. No idea why they would do this if you look at their track record!

So- from what I have heard it is the US investor or nothing!
Either way it looks very likely that KB and his band of cronies are here to stay

It's dreadful news!

I sincerely hope my info is wrong and that an investor comes and kicks this lot out - but at the moment - the old guard seem very much in charge!

to be honest im not worried about palace the way i look at it at the minute is were not expecting to beat them yet that may take the pressure off in a way! think we should give poleon a run out see what he's about play ball to feet no long ball carp we might surprise ourselves plus palace have to lose sometime!? thoughts?

Sell becchio you having a laugh. there is a lot of sh1t at our club and becciho aint 1 of them. lets cash in on players like white pugh green varney and to a lesser extent lees. lees has a lot of heart but to be fair not the future he is out of is depth. i except to be slated for this remark but after watching him week in week out for the last 18 months im in the opinion thats his lot he aint going to improve anymore

I was slated back in early September for saying we would struggle due to the fact all we had signed was quantity over quality. Well I'm back and I must say I think I was right. I said Austin was the only decent signing and yet again I think I was right. We signed half the relegated Portsmouth team, only Pearce has had a decent game so far. Warnock on live tv last week said he doesn't like the prem, so why would he have any ambition to get us there. We have no pace,apart from Ross we have no skill, I'm still waiting to see if hall gets a decent chance. And no creativity. All those who reckon we are gonna make a miracle comeback in the next 6 months I think your sadly wrong. Until we get rid of warnock and his terrible hoof ball tactics we will be no more than a lower table team. I could go through every player in our team and find more faults than good. Something needs to happen and needs to happen fast. Drop kenny, peltier, green, lees, becchio, varney, tonge, right this season off and give the young lads a go. Atleast they will put a bit of effort in, probably won't be pretty but atleast we know they are giving there all. Most will disagree with me, I've only missed Blackpool away this season due to work so I've seen it with my own eyes. Bates out, warnock out. Rant over! Northampton white.

Bates should've sacked Warnock by now. Warnock complains about the protracted TO, it's actually saving his job!!! Bates sacked Blackwell Gary Mac and Grayson on better results than Colin's 9 match return.

That pitch was a disgrace - never should have been played - macca was a class manager. There'd have been no becchio or snodgrass if he hadnt been there. Atleast he looked to sign proper players - he signed freedman - and was looking to get Kevin Phillips in January

On the 6th November last season Reading had accumulated 21 points and sat in 14th place in the Championship. We all know how that ended up. If we can put a few decent performances together before the transfer window, pick up the odd win and at least stay in touch with the play offs, you never know. We aint going to get anybody special in the loan window and lets face it, do we want another Danny Pugh-esque signing in the hope it will please fans until the transfer window opens?

So provided we win 22 matches in a row we are golden.....save it....season over!!

Since when were we linked with ryan shotton? I would rather get a free player than loan atleast a fre player would graft for a longer contract loanees just want to get game time and go back to parent club. I would like to see a young midfielder and a hard as nails center back
Oh and a new manager who keeps ball on floor.

Good article on soccersweep talks of the 5 players not fit to wear the shirt right now. Not only does the writer select the correct 5 players the analysis is spot on too.

A good article? It it any wonder the players at Leeds cant perform? They are on a hiding to nothing before they get on the pitch.
Its hard enough for any player to pull on a White top and play at ER ,and in front of a very critical crowd. FFS give em a chance.
Some of you want to give the kids a chance, are you having a laugh. One mistake and our lot would be down on them so hard they'd lose all confidence and would freeze.
Remember where we are, we are no longer the elite although we all have ambitions and expectations. The current squad are the players who will try and get us there. Give them our support or just F*** Off elsewhere.

Give them a chance you say? How many league matches have we played? Don't Leeds fans have eyes? Or will Varney suddenly turn into Max Gradel? The chance you refer to has already been given. News for ya....it's coming up to the end of November not August. Peltier is dross and so is your suggestion.

More like 10 players that arn't fit to wear the shirt. our only decent players capable of getting us into playoffs are diouf, kenny and austin. The rest are completley useless!

News for you. Until this takeover is finalised the squad is what it is. Are we happy about it? No. Can WE do anything about it? No.
In the meantime get behind the players instead of f*****g slaughtering them week in week out.

Time for unswerving support ended when Bates started to take the mick out of us fans to even more preposterous levels. Don't think nothing can be done because eventually pressure tells. It is every fan prerogative to criticize players because it's their support that funds the club.

On the 15th of November the OS stated 'information supplied to the Football League as required under their regulations'

According to the FL regulations, this must be done no later than 10 working days of an anticipated new club director, and the FL have to confirm 'whether or not the proposed new Director is liable to be disqualified' within 5 normal working days on receipt.
So for arguments sake lets say the FL only received the information today, that means by the end of the week we should know or not if the potential new director is ok.

That is of course the club and GFH sent this particular information and not some other information that is needed.

Fingers crossed this whole sorry mess will be sorted soon, otherwise we might be favourites for promotion next season.........from league 1
