Evening all, Has anyone a ticket for QPR they can't use or is spare? Just tried QPR site and they won't sell to me as not registered on there. I'm a Leeds member and missed out on away allocation, as it sold out in 35 mins just I got on to buy! Be there anyway at the mercy of touts. MOT.

{Ed003's Note - I went for 3-0 in the correct score comp - It's a sign.... maybe not.}

Ed I don't mean to worry you, but don't get up that often. last time I went and we won was probably in the CL so don't put money on anything I say mate!

{Ed003's Note - I won't lol - the comp is something we do here on the site - http://football-rumours.co.uk/correct-score-competition.php }

So MC changes his mind again and decided not to sell until the new year. Whether there is some truth in the fact that the 6 bids were not up to scratch, I don't think matters so much, what matters is that he has changed his mind (an opinion) as he has done a few times now. I feel he is doing this to suit his own motives, although I am not sure what these are (maybe trying to carry favour with the fans, maybe buying time till all is sorted with the FL, maybe its his time of the month)

Anyways, I wanted to chat about the new formation and transfers. The 2 up top we are employing I am loving at the moment, but I am a tad annoyed we haven't managed to secure another striker over the last 2 weeks. We need quality cover for at least one. We have Erwin, who will prove cover for Woody but whether he gets a chance (or Evans rates him) is another matter, but we need someone to take some of the work load off Marco (although I reckon he loves playing every game) . If we do not bring someone in, then we need to phase in someone from the youth squad, Walters, McDaid etc etc.
Adding elsewhere, we need competition at GK and CB. Bamba getting lazy and although Mirco has lifted his game he needs the motivation.

January, we must sign a left back, although Berardi is capable, I would rather he be on the right and we have a natural there.
Maybe all this is stating the obvious, but still.

Bring on the weekend a clean sheet a Woody brace and Mowatt screamer and Corbin to chip in.

I think Stokes could be the nearest or Mulhearn. It seems like Walters chance may have gone.

Living in South Yorkshire listen to the Rotherham fans on Radio Sh****** and they constantly complain that the team can't defend. We should win this, but we can't be overconfident.

Goes without saying that the big fella would love to win this one . I'm going 2 1, mirco to get both.

Can't see us losing this one, going for 2-0 Wood and Mirco.

Happy Friday all.

I'm going for a 2-0. I think it will be a tough game. Form aside, this is a local derby, Redders back and he will be up for it. They've got a couple of decent players on loan including Brandon Barker who we were after. I think they'll defend for their lives and won't be too adventurous. We'll have to work hard to break them down and I can see it 0-0 half time and then 2-0 full time for me. Having said that I've not predicted a correct score since 1989!

MM.

Yeah it will be close for reasons already stated but mainly cause we are pants at home and as the saying goes one swallow doesn't make it a summer (or something like that) .

Before I can really start believing in our home form it will take more than one win. I mean at the moment we are second bottom of the home tables (only above Rothers! ) but away we are 5th and close to second.

Having said that the "feel" is better, which i'm hoping big Steve has given that to the team so I'm going for a 2-1 to us in a close match.

Like MM I ain't got a home result right apart from the Cardiff match which I missed so knew we would win.

I don't understand why we didn't get Brandon B who looks a good player and may well cause us problems.

Nah. Redders one horse pony
No tricks up his sleeve
Even though at home. Etc etc
We will thump them. And good riddance redders.

For me a lucky win, dirty win, 1-0 win, or anything greater than that is welcome. 3 points is the name of the game and as long as that's what the result delivers at 5pm is all that matters. MOT.

Interesting point about the home/away form. I heard Johnny Giles being interviewed recently on Irish radio and he stated that even he and our greatest team were always under more pressure at home because the win was an absolute must. Another noteworthy comment he made, by the way, was that Leeds Fans were and still are the best and most passionate football fans in the land.

sam not to play unless he signs but surely you play best team and the more he plays if he's going the more we would get for him but hopefully he'll stay.

Is he not out of contract at end of season wil probably not get much if that's the case but if he doesn't want to be here I think cellino might be right too big for his boots.
