Oh dear, we've lost our second game of the season, we've got a team full of poor to mediocre players, and, you know what? we're 3 (THREE) points from the top. No doubt we are surely in relegation trouble.

who said we were going down? I think a few have said we probably won't be going up as for mediaocore players we already knew this we saw them finsih 13th last year.

Whilst I am still a fan of Bielsa's I just have to question the wisdom of playing Dallas at Left Back. As a back up Rt midfielder, maybe. As a back up winger maybe but when we have a Left Back already waiting (with first team experience) why play Dallas? Even Alioski has even shown that he has the skill set to play there, and even more damning. what does it say to Pearce?

i am also a fan of MB but he is a good football manager not a good and can make mistakes. many on here have shouted down many who dare to question him but he has made a lot of mistakes which he has admitted. trouble is if pearce ain't good enough which MB clearly thinks why did he not get back up as dallas and beradi ain't the answer. no manager will turn Dallas, KP, Beradi (as a left back) and cooper into promotion players they just ain't good enough. MB watched us last season so he must of known this? maybe we don't have the money we thought?

Dallas ought to be sold in the January transfer window. Bring in small fee, free up wages and makes space on the bench for someone else who promises more.

I think today's results showed how competitive this league will be this year. West Brom lost at Wigan and only had 7 shots of which 1 was on target. Blackburn played well against us today and let's not forget that win took them into the play offs as well.

A disappointing performance from us but again, even given that, we could have got something out of the game. Not fair to criticize BPF today, he kept us in the game and gave us a chance!

Those of you who keep on saying, don't play the kids, other teams experienced players are just the kids that someone had been prepared to give an opportunity so they can gain experience. Jack Clarke is a kid, not done much wrong on his two chances, not scared of running at people and causes panic. I'm f you buy in players above him, when does he get his chance?

Pearce is another kid, who many think should be given a chance over older more experienced players!

Age doesn't matter ability and aptitude to play at this level does. Some 18 year olds have it and some 28 year olds don't!

Finally, if anybody thinks we are going to buy 5 experienced championship, match winning players in Jan, then I'll habe a pint of what you're drinking! Will the players be available, will we have the money and will Bielsa want it! No it's not his style.

George has it right today, management mistakes not sorted properly during the match. The teams worse performance this year for me and Bielsas as well.

Agree Spanish, can't see why Pearce hasn't started with Douglas out. Thought he did a good job when given his chance last season.

I'm a voice for a more tried and trusted when looking at signings, that's not to say that I do not like to see younger players given a chance, if you read what I said I mentioned having to play players' out of position or use u23 squad players .
What I was stating is to some degree you can almost know what you are going to get with a player who has performed well in the championship or Prem.
It's not a given but better four quality players than ten hopefuls, also my worry is come November the games come thick and fast and being able to rest certain players could prove a wise move.

There won't be many coming on board in January. To play for Bub you need to be as fit as fit as fit. Bub won't have the same resources and time to devote to this as he did in preseason. He may cherry pick one or two but that will be it. I feel the young ones will get more exposure as some of the current first teamers are rested.

well it's the same old song but with a different manger now TC is gone.

i have said we are better than last year but every game I am less sure and think it might be a carbon copy.

cooper starts like a defending god to then come true to form and be found wanting

one thing i actually thought BPF played well today and is better option than this time last year

the manager while has class has made a lot of mistakes this season (few he has openly admitted) and today was the same, mate listened on radio and they said Blackburn did a number on us and found us out

I did say I thoght we would be 5th-9th and it winds me up when leeds look like they might make me right

the manager needs to wise up and needs to be backed up with players. if he was happy with our cb options he won't be now and needs head looking at if he don't get a cb in.

It’s the players inability and managers naievity.
In simple terms for Corkeys sake.
Drop the wussies Saiz. Alioski. Dallas.
Get a new system. Don’t ask one player to own the midfield. KP should have Forshaw with him.
We will not make play offs but for once I’m going to be patient. I admire Bielsa and think he will get us up. But I think he over estimated his ability and the players skill level and under estimated how hard this league is.

his goal record for us ain't bad Aus and had proven track record. I will turn it and say why are you not a bamford fan, I would say he i the only proven goalscorer at the club.

i can't comment on midfeld due to obvious reasons but think defence needs looking at as always cooper can play well but sooner or later falls off every year.

The team line up isn't much different to last season and Bielsa brought a different approach and we set off like a train, it was great to watch. But a lot of us on here were worried about the lack of investment in the squad meaning a lack of strength in depth. But after a few good results we had Kinnear gloating in his programme notes that him and the powers that be knew best. Well my message to him is that I do think we have a quality Manager who could be the one to get us up, but if he, Radz and Orta are clever enough to do it on the cheap, they are very much mistaken or deluded.

Agree with Berm on Bamford and Cooper, surprised Forshaw is not getting as much game time .
I can't see how anyone at the top of Lufc can gloat!
Maybe once the league has been won until that time I would shut up.
So many players brought in last year have either been sold or put out on loan, if last year we had gone for about 4 half decent players I can not believe that either the transfer or wage cost would have been more than it was.

Roberts was anonymous. Roofe needs to start as the main striker . Alioski again just isn't up to it . Shame Harrison was out injured . We need our strongest first 11 fit and firing really as the depth just isn't there .

Mighty Squad depth not there for what? Win every game? Never lose a game? Automatic promotion? It was never there but it is looking better than last season. We are 4th and Blackburn are a decent side. Dallas is what he's always been, a mid-table championship midfielder. Put him at LB and he's even worse. Alioski needs dropping for Clarke. I blame Bielsa for today. Pearce should be ahead of Dallas, Clarke deserves more minutes and it's time Edmondson was a part of every matchday 18. You do need to get real though. We've started well overall. Depth not there yet but we are close. Today more about Bielsa's selection which in my opinion was off. Retaining Alioski more of a howler than starting Dallas at LB.

Both goals from corners, Billy basics really, don't think BPF commands in defensive situations, allioski very very poor, least touches so far, saiz? Can't see wht he feels he has to do everything, almost takes the ball off his own players at times.

Not the worst again today. Thought we were poor in the final third. Need a proper striker.
And the two goals conceded were very poor.
We need a Chris Wood, lee chapman, drogba type of forward who defends at corners.

Dallas to start as well, I'm thinking that he will push up and Berra will slot in with Pontus and the captain. Roofe and Roberts should pull the Blackburn defence all over the place if they both keep swapping from central to the wings. Hopefully a nice little 3 points ALAW.
