Just to keep up with the trendy George #Buy Lasogga

We improved in the second half. Alioski and saiz are better a pair than individuals. Alioski only seems to perform when Saiz is playing. Wasn't impressed by Cooper or Weidweld. Dallas was ok and Roofe was poor as usual. Forshaw has been a good buy so far. Vierra still underperforming and Phillips better but still reckless with his challenges. Point is fine but we won't be in the top six this season.

A mark of a team that will be in that mix is the one that can save a point late on or score and win late on. The good Leeds teams of old (even the one in league 1 that got promoted) did that on a regular basis. This team concedes regularly at the end of periods of play and when they have a chance late on they usually miss it. That will have to change.

Hess Good post but nothing can change until Wied and Cooper are no more. They gift goals. Green and Bartley we'd have been dangerous this season.

Agree6 Disagree2

21 Feb 2018 23:24:23
And. 2 great goals from us that deserved to win a game. Sorting the defence a priority. Mind you. No chance Samu will be with us next season. Him and Pontus will be shipped out to the highest bidders

Believable3 Unbelievable3

21 Feb 2018 23:31:58
If that's the case Speedy it would be mediocrity again next season, the club need to keep them and sign quality to go alongside.

Agree1 Disagree0

21 Feb 2018 23:34:00
Deserved to win the game sorry but Derby should have won we were awful until Siaz came on let's be realistic where Miles behind other clubs in this league our defence bar jansson and Berardi are pathetic Cooper and De Bock were awful Cooper should be dropped for Pennington and stripped of the captaincy.

Agree5 Disagree1

22 Feb 2018 06:55:26
We owe Christianson, without the points early in the season we would have been in big trouble

Agree2 Disagree2

22 Feb 2018 09:29:51
Gelderd. Didn't say we deserved to win the game. We didn't. But the two quality goals deserved to win any game. And would have done if our defence had a clue .

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Feb 2018 22:21:14
De Bock looking like another absolute waste of money. With Orta behind the signings it’s like Brewster’s Millions the way he can waste money

Believable2 Unbelievable5

21 Feb 2018 22:28:19
Did you expect Maldini, Alf? Don't get much for 1.5m these days. I think he'll do better as he becomes more accustomed to the English game.

21 Feb 2018 22:40:05
Yep, one for the future!

Agree2 Disagree0

21 Feb 2018 23:35:53
His reading off the game isn’t great and tracking back ain’t great. His miscommunication with cooper led too their 1st goal. He should have been tracking the player and left cooper too clear. But got in the way. But hopefully he learns as is new in the team and has to gel still. Still few school boy errors at back leading to goals which tbh had been like that for a good few seasons. Individual defensive mistakes costs goals. But must say we are looking better . samu clearly made a difference. Home win against him form Brentford on Saturday. 👍⚽️⚽️😃

Agree1 Disagree0

21 Feb 2018 23:54:27
It's up to Radrizanni to learn from Orta's terrible buys to sack him but somehow I don't think it's going to happen.

Agree2 Disagree0

22 Feb 2018 01:00:53
Gelderd They're in it together. Radz won't fire him because Orta's mandate is to find talent on the cheap and develop and accustom players to the English game. That's why TC appointment was weird because he didn't know the league.

Only Saiz has sufficient quality to need zero adjustment time. Alioski getting there but only as a sub for me. If we depart from the foreign agenda and buy good English types in the summer we will do well in 18/19.

Agree2 Disagree0

21 Feb 2018 22:19:17
Feels a bit like a defeat when we concede that late, but still a good point. Just need the win now. Shows what we have missed though with Saiz's performance.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

21 Feb 2018 22:16:28
Well. A point that feel like a defeat. De Bock had a nightmare. Cooper not much better. Felix an embarrassment. No communication and no command of his area. Needs to go. But on another point. Where on earth did the extra 2 minutes come from in the first half? They equalised in time that shouldn't have been added .

Believable3 Unbelievable0

21 Feb 2018 22:10:05
Roofe played like he was injured at kick off. Anonymous. Looks like the tanker is slowly turning round and we are now looking at a fully fit squad to points us in the right direction and keep us moving. PH decision now is DeBock to be dropped? At Least we have Berardi, Dallas or Pearce as a replacement. As for GK Lonergan or BPF. Can't be worse than Weidwald. Cooper was at best okay but then that's the level he usually plays.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

21 Feb 2018 21:59:19
Two things stood out for me tonight. We have to hold on to Saiz; he had 6 perfect touches and perfect passes in his first minute, which was better than anyone else had in 55 minutes. And Hecky's arm around Ronnie when he came off; he will bring the best out of our young uns!

Believable4 Unbelievable0

21 Feb 2018 22:12:51
Just a shame saiz been absent for the last 6 matches through his own actions when we really needed him. Let's hope he's learnt his lesson and spends the remainder of the season making up for it with his skill and staying on the pitch.

Agree3 Disagree0

21 Feb 2018 22:16:49
Correct because they can relate to him and will develop feelings of loyalty to Heck unlike some random Cypriot Danish lightweight hands in pocket shrug shoulders uninspiring clueless midget.

Agree7 Disagree0

21 Feb 2018 23:27:15
Lets not kid ourselves Vieira was patheticly poor and needs dropping to under 23s he can't pass to his own players and constantly gives the opposition the ball having said that De Bock was even worse well done Orta he's yourbf**King signing yet again biggest worry is if Radrizanni doesn't learn about Orta's mistakes

Agree2 Disagree0

22 Feb 2018 08:29:15
Bit harsh I think aggro. Yes, he had one of his worst games last night, but, the lad is, and will be class, and potentially the keystone of our team for years to come. if we can keep hold of him!

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Feb 2018 21:51:23
For me it's a goalkeeper error once more, that goal should have been commanded by the keeper a simple keeper shout it would have bounced and he would have caught. Sorry don't look to keep blaming him but he is causing problems

Believable6 Unbelievable0

21 Feb 2018 22:12:47
Yep 4 points cost in 2 matches. He has to go. Anyone in goal would be better than Felix for me - even the kit man

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Feb 2018 22:18:29
He'd make a good Madam in a brothel because through his conduct the opponent always scores! Madam Wied.

Agree5 Disagree0

21 Feb 2018 22:18:42
We will always need to score at least 2 goals when Felix is in goal

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Feb 2018 23:51:46
I'm 60 with a bad back and I reckon I could do at least as well as Felix :)

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Feb 2018 21:41:05

You make your own luck and we don't make enough of it

Believable3 Unbelievable1

21 Feb 2018 21:55:32
You are spot on Wex we don’t make our own luck but we do make our own mistakes and quite a few by Felix and Bock, but we looked a lot more interested tonight, so positives to take. MOT

Agree1 Disagree0

21 Feb 2018 22:13:03
We do Wex. It's just bad. Bad luck. We are to conceding last minute goals what Thomas Edison was to the light bulb. Wied is bad luck. So is Cooper. Get rid of them and replace with straight performers and you got yourself a side. Oh and we need to buy Lassie. That bloke can finish.

Agree3 Disagree0

21 Feb 2018 23:35:09
George you are right about Lassie, for me he was a waste and he looked useless but now I’m in the keep him brigade because like you say he can finish, maybe with his wife and newborn being with him has helped, he also loves the fans and they are showing him the love! The only trouble is if he keeps on like this can we realistically keep him on the wage? Good post though Georgie!

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Feb 2018 21:27:38
I have to say we are looking good and positive, watch the thumbs down now! But I really think we are looking like a hard grafting Championship team instead of a trying to be fancy foreign team! Bock is suspect though but Siaz changes us for the better, no more spitting!

Believable7 Unbelievable2

21 Feb 2018 21:44:58
Expected to lose but said a draw tonight would be a good result. Hopefully can push on now and pick up a few points. Does our luck at times, if only we could stop switching off and saw the game out! happy with the point though.

Agree1 Disagree1

21 Feb 2018 21:45:03
That is a good result. shame we couldn't hold on but some good signs starting to come through. we would have been mullered a month ago.

21 Feb 2018 22:08:28
Agree scoops, no way we would have come away with anything tonight with TC (sorry to go over old ground) in charge. PH although not most people's choice at least knows the league and his substitutions have more impact.

Agree1 Disagree0

21 Feb 2018 23:39:52
Game could and should have been over at HT with Derby at least 4 up Siaz best player in this league should have started never mind coming on as sub.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

21 Feb 2018 20:53:27
Another de bock mistake

Believable1 Unbelievable1

21 Feb 2018 20:51:15
Keep it tight for 20 mins then can we go three at the back. Take off DeBock bring on Pennington and push Dallas up forward on the left Also take off Viera and put Saiz on to help Hernandez - and go for it.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

21 Feb 2018 20:49:47
Lets show them saiz matters

Believable0 Unbelievable0

21 Feb 2018 20:46:53
Is De Bock playing for us or them. If it was up to him we would be 3 or 4 behind. I saw at least seven mistakes in the first half directly down to him. Have to agree with everyone on here, the man is having a mare

Believable2 Unbelievable0

21 Feb 2018 20:45:20
De Boch sez he has trouble concentrating. maybe a kick up the Aristotle at half time would help!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

21 Feb 2018 20:42:04
Another bad goal conceeded, terrible defending. Despite Bock and Cooper are like Laurel and Hardy! Another fine mess they have gotten into.

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Feb 2018 20:38:09
Typical of Leeds this season. Conceding at the death again. De Bok is having an absolute nightmare of a game, Vierra not particularly good, needs to be taken off before he gets sent off or gives a goal away because he afraid to challenge. As I have said. Give Lassogga service and he will score. Hernandez a bit anonymous as well. Unless something significant happens we will lose this one.

Watching the game on spy as I did on sat; have to get rid of wieldweld, de bock and lassoga not up to the job, ok so lassoga just scored but with that delivery my grandma could have scored, berradi should have gone years ago that is where our weaknesses are imho

21 Feb 2018 18:52:08
Apart from Ayling and Roberts that is probably the best 18 man squad we have at the moment. Come on boys, let's put in a performance, keep it tight and then bring on a couple of fresh faces to win the game.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

21 Feb 2018 13:35:48
Good luck tonight boys. Watching game in 24 hrs so will be offline for a while. i'm going 3-2 loss tonight But going for sat win! Because wield will be dropped.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

21 Feb 2018 14:08:24
I agree with felix been dropped. I think big Andy will get the shout and to be fair i honestly believe he will be a far better keeper under the new management team the way that the gaffer will line up the team gives him more protection in Andys suspect areas, also without thomas style of distribution from the keeper suggests to me that Andy could be ok. I am going with a 2.1 to Leeds.

Agree1 Disagree0

21 Feb 2018 17:46:05
Yea because he was loads better when he had his chance earlier in the season wasn't he. not

Agree1 Disagree0

21 Feb 2018 18:23:59
Expecting a defeat tonight if i am honest, I think Derby will be too strong for us. Hoping the players put in a good performance and saiz ( who should be fresh and hopefully up for it) stays on the pitch. A Draw would be a good result.

Agree0 Disagree1

21 Feb 2018 18:44:42
Be typical of us to win tonight then lose at home to Brentford on Saturday but being honest if i were a Derby fan I'd be expecting 3 points tonight.

Just an idea, but maybe hecky is far better tactically with his subs than christiansen. Take bristol and sheff utd as the examples. 1-0 down at the break, hernandez comes on, we play far better and end up scoring a goal, the penalty was unlucky but if okane hadnt committed there and then pulled out i could have seen us salvage 1 if not 3 points. purely down to a quality player coming on and hungry to prove his point to a new manager that he has to be on the team sheet every week. bristol, you're 2-0 down at half time, no subs made until 64th minute, double swap sees ekuban and dallas come off for sacko, who had his best 30 minutes in a leeds shirt imo, and roofe, who bagged a goal. this got the players excited and up for it as they know there's competition under a new manager. he's not afraid to suit a particular teams style, i think hecky saw bristol on the back foot and decided to bring some pace on to capitalise on that. If he can get this right in the first minute rather than the 65th, there could be success here. he has managed against all of these teams before, but he has not managed leeds united, if he can crack it with the players we have on the training ground, i could see heckys reign being a happy one for us fans. he clearly is getting something out of those players. i believe had we had him for the games v cardiff, birmingham, forest, the subs he could have made would have been more effective and pointentially have won us some points. i think he's better than christiansen at game management and individual player improvement by a long way. whether he can get them to play nicely as a team and whether he can find a good balance of skill and strength but desire to pull on the shirt is another question. 2-1 leeds tonight with saiz to score first for me. the 433 that i think he will pick is. wied, berardi, jansson, pennington, de bock, forshaw, hernandez, phillips, saiz, lasogga, roofe.
