Although the rumours of becchio and le fondre seem to arise every window, becchio has played his last game for Norwich. Despite their relegation he slagged off the board and would be allowed to leave for no fee. Le fondre has also let it be known he would be willing to move away from reading.

Personally becchio and dyer ( leicester ) as free transfers I would take n spend a bit of cash on le fondre. Straight away there would be more attacking options and proven at this level and higher ( le fondre )!

I'd take Dyer, but I don't see the attraction of Becchio. Don't get me wrong he owes us nothing from past seasons, but we got the best out of him and he for me is now past it.

According to MC he 'is a trouble maker and has been since a kid.' Loving this guy more and more. Us LU fans are going to have to accept to take the rough with smooth. He has the club at heart and most importantly he's a football fan himself rather than just in it to make money.
Can't wait for next season, to the point where I'm forgetting about the world cup. Probably because I know England won't do very well.

600,000 to rent TA. 490,000 grant from FL. Net cost 110,000. Anyone think MC is bluffing.

MC claims it costs us 2.5 million a year. However wouldn't you want to get rents down where you can after looking what our past custodians signed up for? I would want to re-negotiate everything.

The cost of running the place and the rent together is the problem . Its cost millions over the last few years and needs to be brought under control. I suspect you are right and Massimo will call their bluff .

A one off £490,000 grant is not a yearly subsidy to pay the rent on TA.

Besides, how do you know it's not already been spent elsewhere?

If MC is bluffing I don't care, he's the first person in manyyears to take charge of this club that has put his hand in his OWN pocket and started paying the bills and debts accrued by other shysters.

I think its more to do with the running costs.

I WANT THE TRAINING GROUND NEARER TO OUR OWN STADIUM maybe he does not want thorp arch?

Nathan Delfouneso been released by villa? worth a punt, bit of pace up front wouldn't go a miss.

He is a good championship standard player, definately worth a punt. Pacey, big and strong, just what we need to change things up up front.

I just hope that someone at the club is noting all the players being released and at least considering them. At this stage we hav:

also reported in uk press MC is considering closing TA permanently? Says it is too expensive and he is approaching the owner to reduce rent.

Saying the same thing on a website. It'd be a real shame if the lads had to leave Thorpe Arch. Let's hope that all the rumours of Uncle Ken being the owner aren't true otherwise there'll be no rent reduction.

Saw Jonny Howson in leeds train station yesterday midday. Probably just visiting friends/family, but you never know.

Apparently he has bought a house in Tingley Morley for his mum
